My family have been taking our animals to Fruitville Veterinary for many, many years, so I knew when I got a pet(s) of my own, that this is where we would seek our care for them. Dr. Pepper and his team never disappoint. They are always friendly, welcoming and very helpful. We always receive speedy responses and you can tell they truly care for their patients needs. One of my dogs is constantly having skin irritations and never do I feel that I burden the staff or pest them with my any calls and appointments. The staff and doctors are all excellent and I would recommend this veterinarian to any and all friends/family!

Exceptional experience from the first phone call I made to schedule a new appt for my kitten to the time we checked out. Great staff. Dr Pepper was very kind & informative. In & out with no prolonged wait while still receiving top care.

I was having an issue with my puppy and needed somewhere to go. I gave this office a call first thing in the morning and spoke with Lily. Although they weren’t able to get me in, Lily was nothing but caring, understanding and was willing to help me even if they couldn’t get me in. Lily, you ROCK!

I was looking for a new vet and decided to call Fruitville Veterinary Clinic based on the good reviews. I needed an appointment as soon as possible and was able to get in the next day with Dr. Conde who told me she has been working there as a relief veterinarian for 21 years, but is only there on Wednesdays. We connected immediately and she is amazing. She has so much knowledge and did more explaining than my previous vets ever did. I also like that she is supportive of the holistic approach we use whenever possible with our dogs. I have been back a second time already and unless it can't wait, I will always schedule my appointments on Wednesdays when she is there. Thank you Dr. Conde!!

I couldn't ask for a better vet and staff to take care of my pups. Dr. Pepper and the whole crew at Fruitville Vet are honest, compassionate, knowledgeable, and most of all, they understand that our pets are family. Some things that make this place stand out above the rest: 1) Their app makes it super easy to request appointments and medication refills. It's also great to have my dog's records in my pocket all the time. I can't tell you how many times this has saved me at dog daycare and grooming appointments when I realized I forgot the vaccination record printout at home. 2) They took precautions around covid to keep humans and animals safe. I appreciated this so much. 3) Vet care is expensive, and there's no way around that, so it's nice that their loyalty program gives you discounts after you rack up a certain amount of points.

Dr. Pepper is awesome. He is caring and not pushy. He does only what you ask and doesn't try to push extras.

Dr. Pepper was a recommendation from a friend who's been going to him for 15 plus years.My chihuahua was very sick and couldn't get a same day appointment anywhere. So I called his office the woman that was working the front office could probably hear the urgency in my voice and got him in that day. All of the staff were very kind and compassionate and even though the news wasn't good I was happy that my little guy was able to be seen and treated with care and dignity. I have so much gratitude that people dedicate their lives to helping animals it takes a lot of courage and heart. Dr.Pepper was kind gentle and honest. I will be using Fruitville Veterinary clinic for my other dog from now on.

Our dogs had been patients of Dr. Pepper for years. I took in my Chihuahua puppy and informed him that she had been exposed to Parvo. He did an exam and told me "No, she doesn't have Parvovirus." 48 hours later and a $5k bill from an emergency vet hospital and my puppy was dead from Parvo. When I contacted Dr. Pepper's office to ask how they could have possibly missed something like that, I was informed that they "didn't have the ability to test for parvo" in their clinic, something which had never been mentioned when I was told point-blank 'no, she doesn't have it.' Gross neglect and disregard for life.

Excellent staff. I was able to stay with my dog while they checked him out. Explained all the options and prices for what he needed instead of just charging me without any explanation.

The Doctors and staff are ALWAYS friendly, and very caring. They always give options for treatment, and understand our need for conservative spending! I love the app too. I can make appointments and order meds- very convenient. Thank you Dr. Pepper and team ????

I cant given enough stars for Dr. Pepper and his staff. They fit me in right away. Super sweet vet techs,, front desk,, and doctor. I finally found a vet who actually listens to me.. Our last vet told us we needed to out our dog down or have surgery. As those were the only two options. Dr. Pepper said to keep up with medication, our vet chiropractor, and plenty of rest. I felt better instantly about my decision to keep fighting for my little guy. Thank you so much!

Quick, easy scheduling. Staff are friendly and professional. Last year you could go inside the facility, everything was clean and organized. This year due to covid-19, you call from your vehicle once you arrive and a staff member comes and retrieves your animal. it an easy and quick process, I didn't even have to leave my vehicle.

Wonderful office. I have 3 pups who we bring to this veterinary office. We are here every 3-6 months for immunizations and heartwork & flea/tick protection and we are always well taken care of. We began coming here a day or two after Hurricane Irma in 2017 as our dog was having an allergic reaction and they were the only office open. I'm glad we came here and switched over from our previous vet. Sam, in the front office, is always patient and so kind. They've gone above and beyond for us. I highly recommend!

After having a bad experience at a local vet I took my new puppy to Fruitville Vet. I am new to Sarasota and this place feels like my old vet in a midwestern Farm town. My whole experience was great, Fruitville Vet is my new vet

Dr Pepper was really compassionate with me and my pet during his dental procedure. He called twice with advice and assured me that my boy was OK. I would recommend this practice.

I and my cats have been with Dr. Pepper for almost two decades. I can not say enough about the care and consideration provided by Dr. Pepper through the years. I also wish to thank Dr. Pepper's staff for their exceptional service. I cannot list all the ways they support patients and their humans. For instance, if a prescription requires half a pill, they will cut the pills for you. They are consistently understanding and helpful and that is greatly appreciated.

We bring both our dogs here. We love the staff, and are reasonably priced.

I have used Fruitville Vet Clinic on more than one of my dogs. I feel Dr Pepper and his staff are very competent and also compassionate. DR Pepper or know today as Fruitville Vet Clinic has been around for a long time. He has always hired competent and compassionate staff.
