Although they didn't have the cedar chips I was looking for they had great service

Awesome store, I moved here 8 months ago panicking on how would I find feeder mice & rats for my snakes, as many pet stores unfortunately don’t carry feeders in Sarasota. This store is very reliable with great staff who greets you soon as you come into the store, smiling faces, and efficiency.

Nice pet shop. Good variety of critters. They have fresh water and salt water fish and supplies, birds, reptiles and other furry animals.

Great shop, the family that owns and runs the shop are super friendly and helpful, good prices and an awesome selection of more unique and exotic pets. I love looking at their coral too. Great place to go!

Knowledgeable but brought home feeders today and six had ich. Thank god I put them in a 20 gallon just for feeders.

I purchased a bunny from this store and they were extremely nice and helpful the cared about the animals health and they were really nice my bunny was playing dead in the store but when I brought Him home he was fine

Just picked up our beardie that we reserved on Friday. Took our baby home and followed the advice of Ryan as well as the dozens of hours of research we put into husbandry before getting a bearded dragon. Day one our beardie is eating well, both foraging crickets in his enclosure and hand feeding veggies. Despite being an hour in the car he seems healthy and relatively unstressed. Very happy with the staff and quality of our animal. Will keep this review updated as time goes on.

Purchased guinea pigs twice and they were healthy however I was told they were female and they were male I already had a female to start with and now I have five????

Love them!! Family owned, knowledgeable, healthy animals, fun place to shop but can be very expensive if you don't have self control bc you will want everything here!!

Customer service was Excellent.... great selection on reptiles, fish have few cool ones but mostly saltwater selection is best.

WOW. I cannot say enough good things about this store. I was recently sold a bird from another shop that was sick and died. My husband and I were heartbroken and told that we probably did something wrong. We came here for a second opinion and Christine was SO amazing. She explained that it sounded like our bird was sick when we got her and it wasn't our fault. When we were ready, she took us around and let us interact with a few other birds they had there. She was so kind and patient with us. She wasn't in t for the sale which was a completely different experience from before. We left with our sweet baby Green Conure and she had paper proof that it is healthy! I will never go anywhere else for my pet needs. Thank you Family Pet Center!!!

Wish they had more wheels and water bottles for small animals. Otherwise it's great pet store to get exotic pet

I've been shopping consistently at the store for some time. I appreciate the knowledgeable staff and the high quality pet food that's available. Saving money by buying cheap pet food doesn't work. You'll just give the money to the vet later on. I tried the catnip spray, but my cat ignored it so I don't recommend that. They do have the catnip in small bags, and the cat loves it.

Wonderful pet store! I bought a Pineapple Conure there recently who has the best personality! Mark at the store was very knowledgeable.

Just purchased a Beardie from here and staff is always super helpful and informative. Unlike other pet stores their animals seem very well taken care of healthy!

Absolutely amazing staff. Great selection and prices. We drive at least once a week about 45 minutes just to go here. One of the only places I can find the food for my pets that they need.

This is a horrible place the people that work there don’t care about your pets only about they’re money and they are price as well do yourself a favor don’t go there

My Ball Python thinks their rats are the tastiest in town.
