I’ve had my dogs groomed here twice, the first time— they did amazing. This most recent time, my dogs came home with cuts all over them. My dog Niko had his paw pad sliced open and glued back together, and my dog Koda has a big cut on his armpit and one on his ear. We have had to take precautions to make sure they don’t get infected. Oh, and THEY NEVER MENTIONED ANY OF THE INJURIES AT PICK UP. I am so angry— my poor dogs keep licking their wounds and have been lethargic since their groom. I left a voicemail about my concerns and no one has called me back. I knew I saw a red flag when I walked in with my dogs and the groomer left a dog on a table by itself with the leash on— you always have your hands on a dog when it’s up that high! Find another groomer.

When I moved to Florida three years ago I needed to find a groomer for my two dogs. I googled Diane’s Pawfections and took a chance. I was pleasantly surprised and extremely pleased with the way she groomed my babies. The place is so dog friendly and Diane and her staff are the best. They are warm and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

They do an amazing job with my dog. I tried other grooming places and I was not really happy. My dog looks beautiful every time

Diane did a great job on my maltichon. She was matted and Diane did a nice job getting rid of them without shaving her down. She asked how I wanted her styled and I showed her pictures. My dog is a runner and I felt she was safe there. No risk of her getting out the door. Friendly people.

Diane is a talented groomer with a big heart and an impeccably clean doggie spa. I moved to Sarasota from New England in the spring and desperately needed a groomer for my pup Oscar ASAP.... I called several groomers and I left Diane a message message for Diane too. Diane was the only groomer to call me back right away AND she was able to squeeze Oscar in the very next day... I was beyond thrilled & thankful! Diane did an outstanding job grooming Oscar... If you are scoping out groomers in the area, I HIGHLY recommend that you give Diane a call.

we have taken our poodle there several times, the cut was always fine. I thought it was a reputable business. This time he had several abrasions on his neck and face, and it was overall a terrible cut. he was also acting strange, lathargic, and not wanting to walk by himself. He yelped loudly when I picked him up. All of these thing put together had me very concerned. We took him to an emergency vet, and it turns out HE HAD A BROKEN RIB!!! When he was picked up, nothing was said. no report of any incident. The owner just wanted to shuffle him out and not say anything. Terribly unprofessional, and downright irresponsible. every other time we had a good experience, but this is inexcusable.

Recently moved to Florida and my Goldendoodle was getting very long and dirty. Asked other dog owners where they took their dogs for grooming. Diane’s Pawfection was recommended . I brought my fur baby to her and she did an amazing job. Her cut was so perfect and she smelled so good. We have had her cut before back home but this cut was phenomenal. The salon was clean and had safety harnesses so dogs couldn’t fall off tables. Staff extremely pleasant and friendly. Definitely staying with Diane’s pawfections!

I've been taking my dogs here for a couple years. Never had an issue prices are reasonable and she cares for your dog like if it's her own.

Wonderful groomer, kind, sweet, responsible and a true dog lover! Chester loves her! Her facility is spotless. Would highly recommend! I am shocked at some of the negative reviews. I was at the spa on the day when one of the reviewers was there with his dog. I have never seen a dog so matted. It was such a shame. Diane explained to the man that the doggie would have to be shaved as the matting was down to the skin. The man was not happy but this was the only thing that could be done. I find it very unfair to write such a negative review when the issue was caused by the owner not taking care of the dogs hair and then complaining after the fact. Diane cares so much for her dogs that it is sad that this review may put people off. I have recommended her so many times and each time the owners have been thrilled.

We have been looking for a groomer in Sarasota for a while now and this is by far the best we have gone to. We will be taking our dogs here from now on. They did a fantastic job on our Newfoundland and the price was extremely reasonable. A great place!

Like Justin, I arrived for appt. to closed shop. Contacted owner; she explained, apologized for my inconvenience, and arranged for my dog’s grooming the next day. I’ll be back.

Thank you so much for taking wonderful care of our Choo Choo! We rescued him a year ago and is fearful of almost everything but Diane does her best to make him feel comfortable!

My first experience was fine. I was a walk-in nail clip customer. UPDATE: Website states "Walk-in Pawdicures." On a Friday I arrived at 9:00AM for a walk-in nail clip/file; they open at 9AM. Only no one was inside and the Open sign wasn't lit. I proceeded to call and leave a message after waiting about 15 minutes, expressing disappointment that the business hasn't opened yet. I waited another 15 minutes, called one more time, left one more message leaving my phone number. I then get an emotionally-charged call back from the owner, who expresses anger that I had the nerve to share my disappointment when she was dealing with a broken down car on I-75, which was the cause for her absence. She enthusiastically invalidated my inconvenience with an attempt to press on me that her inconvenience trumped any inconvenience I may have experienced. When she was done speaking loudly I simply reminded her that I was the customer in this scenario and while I empathize with her inconvenience I simply wanted her to know what I experienced as her customer, of which she had no interest in listening to let alone even hear - demonstrated by the volume of her voice whenever I tried to get a word in. She ended the conversation with, "you didn't even have an appointment for the nail clip." I sighed... I will not go back. She is confrontational and aggressive. I have now found out, like others who've reviewed, the dark side of this business owner.

Diane is awesome and our dog loves, loves her! Our dog goes crazy happy every time she sees Diane. The salon always smells clean. It's open and inviting. Diane really cares about our fur baby (She doesn't take your dog behind closed doors) …

Diane is an experienced groomer with obvious talent and fondness for her work. She is fairly priced, prompt, and reliable. My Goldendoodle Elliot almost looks forward to his grooming visits...or so he tells me.

We took our poodle Leo there twice. 1st time they cut him in the area his boy parts used to be. I figured anyone can make a mistake so I brought him there a second time. I mentioned what happened on the first visit and they found it hard to believe. We got him back this time and he has razor burn on his face.

Finally, a groomer that gently takes care of our dog! Diane does a great cut and is reasonably priced. Love taking the dog here and he has fun with the other dogs.
