My dog actually gets excited when I take him to this vet..From the front desk, to everyone working in the back, it’s a pleasant experience. (which is very well staffed to make sure that your pets are well taken care of.) They are very caring and always do a great job making sure that my dog is doing his best. I definitely recommend taking your pet(s) here!:)

Absolute amazing vet. My dog needed ER surgery and has never been seen there. Dr. Gerber was more than happy to take care of my pup who was coming straight from Blue Pearl ER. The entire team, from the person who answered the phone (Debra) to the pre op doc, to the lovely lady who scheduled our follow up.......were all extraordinary. I even got daily phone calls for 5 days from the doctors checking up on my boy. Never going anywhere else.

The vets are pretty good, but the front office staff could use a little work. They're friendly, but not always prompt, and the appointments don't seem to be spaced out well as I always have to wait 20 minutes in the back before being seen. But the care seems pretty good and the vets are more conservative in terms of treatment, which I appreciate.

Very friendly and compassionate staff. It’s my 1st time being there & they made me feel comfortable. My little one had to get surgery & Dr. Gerber was able to fit her into his schedule at the last minute and took good care of her. I’m pleased with the care that was given.

Unfortunately had to go for first only to return 1 week later because fleas were not diagnosed on first visit. A little disappointed. Because we had to pay 50.00 to come back. Otherwise very kind staff.

I went there to buy a pill gun for my mom's cat, who is a patient, and they were super nice! I felt like the entire front desk staff was catering to me. Granted, I was one of two people in there but they really made me feel welcome. I think I kind of want to work there. Anyway, mom says they're a good crew and take great care of her cat. I believe it.

I had to hit one star to post this,the only way to get in, I have a 17yr.old dog who is in pain,possibly dying,my husband and I are disabled,we only have 100.00 dollars until we get our disability check in two weeks.We asked this clinic to PLEASE except it for payment till the 3rd,they wouldn’t take our dying dog in for just 100.00! Compaction ,they obviously don’t have any,wow,I hope Clark rd.clinic,well not going to say,but,karma is a ,well you no,please prey for my dog people,he needs it!

My dog's vet retired and I've been on a quest for a new vet office. After two years of looking I am thrilled to have found Clark Road Animal Clinic. Both Dr Gerber and Dr Smith are attentive, knowledgeable and compassionate. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Pricing is affordable. My dog's digestive issues were helped, I was squeezed into an appointment when my dog woke up with a swollen nose and a long overdue tooth cleaning was affordable and an extraction of an infected tooth went well with an easy recovery. A special thanks to the tech who spent extra time cuddling my dog when he came out of the anesthesia and needed comfort. I am grateful to have found Clark Road Animal Clinic

I recently switched to Clark Road Animal Clinic because I felt my old vet was only interested in taking as much money as they could from me without providing any real solutions. I became annoyed and frustrated and decided to search out a new vet. I was lucky enough to get referred to this clinic and especially Dr. Gerber by mouth of word. I live in Tampa and this clinic is in Sarasota, about an hour drive for me but when I tell you it’s worth it, that doesn’t begin to do justice to how amazing this clinic and Dr. Gerber have been for me and my dog. The quality of service and care is so great that my parents now make the drive down as well. I and my family are so much happier since we switched over to Dr. Gerber. He was able to solve an allergy problem that has been ruining the life of my parents dog. The change in my parents dog behavior, attitude and temperament have proven that we made the right choice in switching over. If you’re luckily enough to become a patient here, I strongly recommended asking for Dr. Gerber, his expertise has been a life changer.

We have been dealing with allergy issues with one of our dogs for the past few years with no real relief. The latest vet just wanted us to keep giving her allergy shots at $100 a month that only worked for a few days. I was referred to Dr. Gerber and after the very first visit he was able to recommend a treatment plan that is really working! The difference in our dog is amazing! I’m so thrilled with Dr. Geber and his treatment that I’m transferring all 3 of my dogs to Clark Road Animal Clinic.

Cannot extend enough gratitude for the kindness and professionalism from the staff in a time of sadness. My precious male Yorkie (25.5 yrs old) was ill, and the staff showed so much compassion as we said our good-byes for his journey over the rainbow bridge. They also attended to my female Yorkie who was experiencing a great amount of anxiety due to the loss of her bestie. They were each others "ride or die" together for 12 years. Came highly recommended from a neighbor and I would highly recommend as well. ????
