Rex absolutely loves Camp Bow Wow in Sarasota, FL. Every morning like clock work he jumps out of the jeep runs to the door tail wagging cant wait to get inside. They take such great care of Rex while I'm at work. When I pick him up at the end of the day he doesn't want to go. Thats how I know its such great service. I don't recommend this place, never ever after a 6 years service. "A Dog's Tail Never Lies" - Our dog has been afraid to come to you for the last few times, unfortunately I'm sure something happened to him inside that I asked you about several times, but you caught our dog. Worked there they all were nice at first but then i accidentally threw away medicine for one of the dogs because they said to and they said sorry wrong thing blames me for it i was new and they said "He hasnt been a good dog lately its ok" and then started treated me badly later on for it. Not professional either that's why they always need people to hire because its not worth how they treat the dogs and how they talk down about the owners and the dog behind there backs and are lazy.

Took our dogs for several nights from out of state. They took great care of our two buds.

The staff is amazing. They are patient and caring. Whether Abbe is there for day camp or overnight, I know she is in good hands.

I’ve been using camp bow wow for a while now and I have nothing but great things to say about it!!! Every time I go in I’m greeted by a nice young lady named Mackenzie. This young lady is a amazing worker! she always has a smile on when greeting me and my little baby Bella. Not to mention that Bella loves her which is a yes in my book.I love leaving my little Bella at the camp because they have cameras so I can see my Bella playing with the other dog which I thoroughly love!! When I come to pick Bella up I am then greeted by that young lady again and I can’t speak highly enough about her. She so nice and lovely to my Bella. I highly recommend coming here!!!!

Submitted my application on April 27th, 2021. I was expecting that I would get a phone call to schedule my dogs assessment interview. Did not get a phone call for weeks so I called them and left them a voice mail on May 13th. Did not get a phone call after leaving a voice mail. I should have given up then. However, we needed to find a place to board our dogs on a short notice tomorrow 05/23/21. Since Camp Bow Wow is open on Sundays I decided to call again. I talked to McKenzie and she told me that if I can bring the dogs by 2:30pm she can do the 3 hour assessment today. We were already in the car to do something else but dropped everything and showed up at 2:20. I thought I would be able to drop them off for the assessment and then come back to pick them up in three hours. I was very wrong. She took my GSD and did not come back for about 20 minutes. She came back and told me my GSD failed the interview. According her my GSD was scared of one dog and then snapped at another. I asked if she had my GSD on the leash the whole time and she said yes because this is corporate policy. My dog is on the small size GSD at only 60 lbs. She does behave completely different off and on the leash. Since this place's company policy only assesses on the leash even though the dog should be off leash at a day care, then yes, she would fail. I wish I knew in advance. My other dog also failed. She was allowed off leash since she is smaller and after a dog came in her face, she chased it off. She does like her privacy and if a dog is too close to her face she would snap at it but never ever bite or attack. So my dogs are not perfect and this is not the place for them. I am only typing this so that if you have a dog that may not behave amazing on the leash when around other dogs, then this won't be the place for you either. It was also interesting that when we arrived an employee was screaming at a dog inside "Do not Bite. No biting allowed". While I was waiting a lady picked up her dog and was disappointed that her dog was given to her soaking wet. I only wished I knew all of these things in advance so that I do not waste my time today. My dogs are not perfect but they have been to two dog daycares, go to the dog park a few times a week and been boarded a few times. They have never attacked another dog or hurt another dog. My vet just told me how very well socialized they are. We go to dog training once a week and I get compliments every time but still not good enough for here. I guess it is good for people, if those high standards are actually true, but considering we heard the no biting comment. I kind of doubt it. Good luck everyone. Where was your professionalism in responding to my application and returning my call? That was before you met my dogs you found not acceptable for your day care. Interesting how you missed the main point of the review. I am informing people of your responsiveness, professionalism and company policy for interview so that they know not to wait for a call back and what to expect. Kindly thank you for not acknowledging the main problem here. There are plenty of day care centers who accept my dogs and never had issues with them. The only reason to try to get in this one was location close to work.

The staff at Camp Bow Wow is terrific. They go out of their way to make all of the dogs feel welcome, and are very attentive to the needs of shy dogs getting used to having fun and interacting with everyone at Camp. And they throw GREAT parties!

Facility is nice and clean. The dogs have plenty of space and the staff is very friendly.

Extremely clean well run facility. Staff are exceptionally friendly, conscientious & professional. I especially appreciated that my dog had to pass a 3 hour temperament “interview” before we could make a boarding reservation because that means they are screening for aggressive dogs who may potentially be a risk to my dog. Very responsible business model. Will definitely use Camp Bow Wow again

The entire weekend our dog was in his cabin or only playing 1-on-1. I know he was being taken care of but we are paying for a feature like camper cams so we can watch our pups when we're away. I have never had issues with my dog getting play time with other dogs at other locations. It just seemed like at this bow wow the counselors weren't as attentive to the dogs. There were many times I checked in on the cameras and the counselors were just sitting on their phones. However, I am thankful they were available to take our dogs during July 4th weekend when all other bow wows were booked.

They treat them really well. I'm a person that won't leave my baby with just anyone. I did alot of searching and they took GOOD CARE of my Armani.

Clean facilities, friendly staff, orderly drop off and pick up

We brought our GSD for interview and 3 free hours, very happy with facility, very clean environment and friendly staff. I love the live camera feed and pets are watched by counselors very closely while they are being themselves so they behave. Looking froward to boarding and day camp. Thanks

I love the way we are treated here. I move his I can see my baby on camera. I love how they remember us when we come. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My Henry loves Camp Bow Wow. You can tell the staff loves and cares for the dogs like their own. Danita the manager is wonderful, patient, kind and happy to answer any questions. I know I don't have to worry when he is at Camp. Thank you CBW!

This place is GREAT! The staff is very friendly and inviting. The manager Danita is very knowledgeable and passionate about dogs. I absolutely trust my dogs in their care. The all inclusive pricing is great. I'm not being nickle and dimed on every bathroom break and feedings. The place is kept clean and they have fun activities for the dogs around holidays. I recommend this place whether you just want to drop off your dogs for the day or board them overnight.

Great staff - very friendly and understanding of each individual pet's personality and needs. Been taking my dog here for about 10 years. Highly recommend.
