A total sham unprofessional uncaring place! A complete night mare. Brought my dog in only for knee issue, after sitting dog on floor staff comes at him with a thick rope leash that tightens.. they literally DRAGGED my dog all the way down long hallway, I stood speechless then as dragged back blood on floors no lie, vet says there’s a bone coming out of TAIL closed door fast 5 min later Dr came to pull out pad in dog stroller NO BLOOD brought his seat pad from car in NO BLOOD... they wrapped tail never even calling me in to see Dr comes out to tell me tail might need amputation if doesn’t heal.. R U serious!!! This nice 40 yr Vet told me was his last day there G I wonder why this place is RACHET plus they refused to let me view HALL CAMERA. THEY WILL PAY BIG TIME FOR INJURING MY DOG IN THERE FACILITY STAY OUT OF THIS DUMP!!!!!

We went this morning to put our cat Laverne down and this office was extremely professional and courteous. We were explained everything what was going on and was not pressured into any decisions. I want to thank them for their compassion and care they have and will continue to give to our pets. (Side note)...We moved about an hour away and tried to switch vets about six months ago, it was a nightmare and we came running back to VCA!! I would rather take the hour drive to VCA Sanford Airport Animal Hospital anyday of the week! I would, and already do, recommend VCA Sanford Animal Hospital to my friends and family. Thank you again VCA!

I truly can not write a good enough review for this place. Absolutely amazing. Honestly, the vet on staff was the most wonderful man. He was so kind and informative, he listened and explained X-rays to me. I My dog had an emergency and I called them and they were completely ready for her in under ten minutes. They even postponed a routine surgery so that they could get her in. She was in the exam room as soon as we pulled into the parking lot. My dog was well taken care of and the vet was so patient with her. The vet gave her 3 X-rays AND an ultrasound and charged me NOTHING. He absolutely loves to be a vet and it’s obvious. He goes above and beyond for your pets! Take your pets here, don’t go elsewhere. You will not regret it.

This is the first veterinarian office I've trusted with my dogs in many years...We've been going since 2016 for everything from spay/neuter, eye removal and dentals to annual exams, Itchy skin, geriatric issues. And unfortunately, euthanasia. They really do love them like their own...and with the current covid concierge service, I'm ever so confident that their staff is taking the best possible care of my fur-kid, even though I'm not in the room. The veterinarian comes outside to speak with me and discuss a plan of care, and options. Nobody is pushy.... their focus is on your pet.

Great vet great staff very friendly professional and attentive to my animals. I brought in a dog I’m watching and the vet tech Erin noticed my new puppy had a skin infection and they saw her as well. Affordable price and wonderful disposition. These people genuinely care about animals and are not trying to break your bank. Ty you all for your service and love for what you do!!! I’ve added to this post bc of some of the negative comments first off this is a vet office not a hospital for humans and yes they require payment at the time of procedure I’m sorry if your animal had an emergency but you cannot blame the office bc you cannot afford to care for your animal financially and if you have a prescription that needs filled after a year and a new veterinarian would like to see your animal take that as a caring vet. They don’t know your animal or what it may or may not need. Why would you not take your animal to get a wellness check up after a year? Smh

Thank you to Dr. Fonseco, Erin, & Kaylee for helping my new adopted dog Sadie. They are an amazing team that definitely care about the needs of their animal patients as well as the people. This place was highly recommended by a close friend & now I am doing the same to all read this review. Blessings to this place for they are a valuable asset to the families here in Sanford.

Best veterinary advice you can get, we moved to Orlando but we still come. here. We have tried with another Veterinarian, never again.

Dr and staff are amazing!!

I can not say enough about this veterinary hospital. I had a border collie with arthritis in her hips and bone spur in her front leg. The whole team were helpful, loving and did everything possible to relieve her pain. And when the time came that she couldn't walk they should honest and caring feelings towards me and my dog making her passing a less painful experience. This was the saddest day but the staff here helped me and showed my dog dignity. I have just got a rescue dog from the county pound and I will be taking him there for all his needs. Recommend this place to everyone.

Staff members are very thoughtful and knowledgeable. You can tell that they care about our furbabies and us as pet parents

Compassion. Empathy. Care. Was not overcharged. All questions answered. My 7lb little girl had 3 huge bladder stones. Her care was superb. She is well now, but was pretty sad before treatment, even tho she was so cute in her little diaper!

Our experience here with our cat was a good one, however when I had to come back in for more prescription food, I went by the hours listed here on Google. I left work a half hour early on Saturday to get more food for my cats and when I arrived I see they're open til 2, whereas on Google it is listed until 2. So now my cats have no food for the weekend and I lost time at work. Consider updating your hours online.

I love this place! The vet and staff are wonderful, kind, friendly and truly care and know how to treat your pet with compassion and skill. I have sent family and friends to them because of those very attributes I wrote about. And I haven't even mentioned how inexpensive this clinic is! I drive over an hour...on I-4 (!)..to have my dog well taken care of there. You will be exceedingly pleased with them as your pet's vet of choice!

This is my favorite veterinary clinic to go to. Always super friendly. If we have a mini emergency they really try to fit you in same day or asap. The clinic is also always nice and clean. Love them! ♥️

The doctor and nurse were great with my cat. They spent a lot of time with him and a lot of time with me answering my questions. I was never left waiting for more than 15 minutes for the doctor or nurse. All around great experience. I'm glad I finally found a vet for my cats.

Absolutely and dumbfoundedly exhausted with delaing with this place. It used to be good until they force you to go in for tests that my dog has taken multiple times and CANCELING his medicine without so much as letting me know. And then …

I am a returning client of Newman Vet. A few years ago we had moved out of town and had to use a new Vet. We have now moved back to the area and chose to go back to Newman’s for our pets care needs. We are very pleased with our visit with the Veterinarian. The Dr was very informative and welcoming. The staff is great and like the flexible hours that they offer.

Such nice nurses and doctors! They treat every animal like it's their own. I have multiple cats and they know who we are and are always welcoming. The staff is friendly and courteous. I love this vet and location is near my house, even better. I'd recommend setting an appointment. They also have an emergency vet branch not far which we initially visited and were able to follow up at our closest location. I love this vet!!
