Towne Center Animal Hospital Sanford, Florida

This is gonna be a long one, so get ready. In summary, the best vet I have ever visited. I've been going to Dr.Z for a bit now, after a vet misdiagnosed my dog, saying bloodwork was normal. I went to Dr.Z for a second opinion and he spent time explaing everything, helping me with understanding the bloodwork, and finding out what was wrong. He was honest about what tests were the best course of action, and how we could eliminate possibilities. Now my cat, both my dogs, and my mom's dog all go to Dr.Z. When the whole group comes in everyone is so happy to see them and greets them. From the exam room we can hear the tech taking which ever pet they have around for everyone to say hi. They call my cat Sweet Bean, and always tell me she's an angel, even when she isn't. If one of the pets is not there, they always ask for an update. My dog TJ has been going for a back issue, and today got a laser therapy treatment. She had a very hard time walking today, and a tech (I'm so sorry I forgot your name) came out to help TJ out of the car, and had a room ready so she didn't have to sit in the waiting room, with what has become her favorite blanket. When it was time to go TJ was still having trouble, so the tech helped me carry her, she's almost 70lbs btw, in the blanket as a sling, to my car and get her in. They really truly love animals, every person I've met there has been the absolute sweetest, and they go above and beyond to help however they can. They have in hiuse x-ray and are so supportive of a multi approach to medicine, the includes modern treatments along with a good approach in food and supportive/alternative care like swim therapy and acupuncture. I think the best reviewe i can give is that TJ, who like NO ONE, gets excited to go in, and lets them pet her. That alone speaks to how much they earn the trust of their furry patients.

This place is friendly and caring. My dog gets bribed for nail trims, and all the pets from the staff and Dr. Z.

Super friendly staff! Their free first visit is really great if you just need your babies looked over. If they need anything in the future this vet is at the top of the list.

Dr. Z is always attentive, informed, and takes time to explain things and answer questions, and the rest of the staff are always friendly and caring.

We love Dr. Z and the whole staff! They're all so friendly and you can just tell that each one of them truly cares about your pet. My puppy had his very 1st appt here when he was about 8 weeks old and he's now just over a year old. He def loves Dr. Z for all the treats he gets, ha. Only thing I have to say is choose your appt time wisely. Sometimes their appointments overlap so you could be sitting in the room for a while until you're out the door. Also from my experience with other vets, they are a little on the pricier side compared to some others (they do take insurance though). But you can request an estimated invoice before your appointment so you're aware.

We love Dr. Z and the whole staff. They always make me feel like my Brutus is their favorite dog! I've had some issues with past vets over his size and the whole staff is wonderful with him. They always explain everything and give price quotes prior to doing anything extra.

Dr Z and his staff truly care about animals. They referred my cat to an excellent specialist.

I wanted to say thank you so very very much to Dr. Z and to all of his staff from the bottom of my heart .l Best vet and staff I have ever been to in my life ! Everyone from the doctor and to his personal staff Ciara and Sarah. They are ALL kind hearted . You can tell everyone there loves animals. I would most surely recommend Dr. Z and staff to treat any of your pets. Such compassion. Dr. Z explains everything you need to know. He takes his time to listen and inform you what exactly is the best medical care your pet needs. You will not be disappointed in any way to take your pet to this clean facility and excellent Dr. and his staff. I am so happy I chose to go to this office!! :)

The staff and doctor we saw today were very friendly and the visit went well. No long delays. I would definitely recommend their services.

I just left the office & never, ever in my life have I had a better experience with a veterinary office. The doctor & staff were all incredible & thorough & great with my dog. He is a bit on the crazy side with it comes to strangers & other dogs. They had a room set up for me to take him back immediately. The whole experience was wonderful. I couldn’t be more thankful to have found this office.

Fantastic all-around experience. Everyone was so nice and helpful; taking the time to explain things or help you without making you feel rushed. Dr. Z was informative and realistic about a not great prognosis without making it feel like a panic situation. Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else and worth the drive from Orlando for the care and affordable price this office provides.

I can't believe how compassionate and understanding their staff is! Dr. Z is a total professional with an amazing bedside manner. You guys made an impossible situation as pain free as possible. I truly can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Z and the entire staff at Towne Center Animal Hospital. I’ve been experiencing a lot of medical and behavioral challenges with my cats lately, and they’ve been so responsive and professional. Yesterday I was worked in as a walk-in, and they stayed late on what I know was a very busy day for them. Dr. Z never rushes and is so patient with my endless questions. You never feel like he’s thinking about the next animal he needs to see. The techs and other staff are equally friendly, reassuring, and professional. I love how it doesn’t feel sales-y there and estimates are always provided (with signature) before services are completed.

In a turn of unfortunate events I had to bring in my friends dog to be put down. I chose Dr Z because I had previously taken my own baby to see him a few years back and I remembered how kind this Doctor was. He was exactly what I hoped for: Kind, caring, and treated the dog wondefully. We appreciate you helping us with such grace and kindness through a really hard moment, and helping Gigi cross over the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you to your entire staff as well.

The people there are amazing

The ppl at Towne Center Animal Hospital (TCAH) truly care about your pet & you. Dr Zee & his staff are very accommodating, pleasant & professional. They are price conscious, too, telling you your options & the price through out the process. After 2 other vets couldn't determine what was wrong w our very sick dog, Dr Zee looked at her symptoms & ran bloodwork that confirmed a serious bacterial infection the next day. He worked quickly & kept us informed every step of the way. The Dr called & explained everything, answered all our many questions completely, & got our dogs Rxs prepared quickly. A+++. Towne Center is an excellent animal hospital & Dr Zee is an excellent Veterinarian.

I found the vet to be very thorough

Best vet experience thus far. I had adopted a kitty yesterday and without making an appointment I walked in the animal hospital today and Dr. Z was able to check her out with no issue. He and the nurse was very kind, caring and answered all of my questions which extremely comforted me. She had fleas and a potential parasite and was given medication for both. They handled her very well and I feel more confident on the health of my cat. As I was walking out my cat had pooped in her temporary carrier and the front desk and nurse took her to the back to bathe her and provide her a clean temporary carrier. Everyone at this hospital has been very helpful and I greatly appreciate all their efforts.

Dr Z and his staff are all very loving and understanding. Our fur baby was under his care until we had to let her go March 2nd. Our family will miss our baby, we are so thankful for the love, care and understanding we received every time we called or went for any kind of appointment.

Dr. Z and his staff are amazing. To see them provide the same amount of attention and love to my pet as I do made me know in my heart I made the right choice coming to his office. I highly recommend making Towne Center Animal Hospital your go to location for all your pets needs!

I am appalled that there are any negative reviews regarding Dr.Z and his amazing staff. I have experienced nothing but compassion, understanding and education. Dr. Z is by far one of the most honest and caring veterinarians I have ever met. I have worked in the field and I rescue on a regular basis. He ALWAYS thoroughly explains ALL options. I have brought kittens to him that were dying in my arms despite doing everything I can and he has saved them! He spends time with all the animals I bring to him, and I have brought him many! Whether it’s my personal pet or one I just rescued his attentiveness is the same. I absolutely adore this man and HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to everyone I know.

I was very concerned about my kitty but the office staff was so kind and professional. I was impressed with how reasonable pricing was and Dr. Z was awesome. Very realistic and took the time to hear my concerns and explain his recommendations, as well as make sure all of my questions were answered. Will definitely make this my regular vet office for my 3 cats!
