Companion Care Pet Hospital Sanford, Florida

I recently found a lump on my miniature Aussie. I was not able to get in to see my regular vet. I called Companion and they worked me in that afternoon. Everyone was very nice and the vet took lots of time to explain the situation. I was given the opportunity to ask questions and was provided with clear answers. The next day the office called to check on Cheyenne and as soon as the test results were available the vet called to discuss our options for care. I could not have asked for a better experience.

I took my puppy in for his first appointment, told them prior that I thought something was wrong and he was acting off. They sent him home saying he was fine, but ended up in the hospital about 3 days later, my puppy almost died from anemia and hook worms, something so easy to find, but they still didn't find it. I will not be returning

This is definitely a vet that deserves more than 5 stars! The front staff was very welcoming as we walked in without an appointment. My baby was very sick and they were very understanding and accommodating. The staff was accommodating to my financial needs as well. They updated me estimated prices through email and don't charge me for non essential tests. Thank you!

I called on Sunday around 2 with my poor dog crying in pain the girl on the phone said she couldn't see us till later in the week ... I asked her if she could hear my dog and she said yes .. I told her I thought we were going to lose her and she didn't say anything at all.. I was crying and the dog was crying and no compassion at all

Absolutely amazing place. They were able to save my daughters cat that was about to be put to sleep. They went above and beyond to get me a cost I could afford, took care of my cat as if it was their own and I can’t even express how grateful I am to be able to take him home.

I had taken my dog in for surgery on his leg and the vet sent my dog home with only 4 stitches in his leg. 12 hours later the wound had opened up due to the vet not putting in enough stitches the first time. I took him back to the vet and they stitches him up with 10 stitches this time and gave him antibiotics for the infection he also had in his leg. They changed me $80 to re-stiche his leg and then charged me $70 for the antibiotics. Well over the price that they originally gave me for my dog. Please be careful if you use this vet.

I'm very happy with this vet. I have been using them for 4 years. Never had a bad visit. I feel like they care about my babies

Love this veteran hospital! They are great with our fur baby Jaxon who has Addisons. Hands down a great place for your fur babies to be seen by a Dr.

I wanted to thank all the staff members and veterinarians who were part of my baby boy life. Romeo our sweet baby boy who was a staffy mix. We still very sad that we had to put him down but very thankful that all you were very helpful and attentive Thank you ????????

What a lovely place. I felt taken care of and like they really looked out for my dog. They asked me questions and wanted to make sure I got everything I needed. They were so calm and made me feel very relaxed with my dog. They do not push anything on you. I left feeling relieved and satisfied and ready for the next appt. :)

I have been taking my dog anf cat there for a year and they've always been so good to them and helpful.

Thank you for the compassionate treatment given to our family. It was not easy to make the decision to say goodbye to our sweet Lily. We are so appreciate that you gave us an appointment the same day (on a Sunday) and we had never been there before. Amazing enough we recognized Dr. Renfro and Erin from our previous vet. We will be looking into switching over for our other baby.

Great staff. They were able to see my dog on a Sunday when there was an emergency. They were not our regular vet but based on our experience now have become our regular vet.

A huge thank you to the staff working on 9/5/2021. Our oldest dog passed away this weekend while we were visiting with family in the area. The staff was very accommodating and offered their condolences. I asked if we could at least get a paw print before she was cremated. They gave us a card with paw and nose prints and the entire staff on duty wrote a message and signed the card. Very thoughtful! I highly recommend this place and wish we still lived in the area so they could care for our other animals when needed.

This is where we take our Shih-Tzu, very kind and respectful front office, all of the vet assistants are great with animals, feels like family.

As long as you schedule in advance, you are able to get scheduled in for multiple service. Bama has been going periodically over the years. The groomer is wonderful with him. He hates baths at home, but is able to get spa treatment there. The office keeps you up to date on the process. Whether you are taking your sog to the groomer or to the doctor.

Our dog had been to two other vets, one an emergency hospital, and they could not offer any solid answers even though we explained his discomfort. Companion Care not only fit us in the same day (on a Sunday) but listened to us, suggested a simple allergy medication and ointment, now our dog is resting better. Prices were very reasonable, and they did not pressure sell anything. I think I may have found a new vet for both our dogs.

Our dog hurt his foot on a Sunday and my usual vet was open but couldn’t squeeze us in. I called this vet and they fit us in, even though they were booked full. Not only did they treat my pup perfectly, they were very nice from the office staff to the vets. Very good prices. This will be our new vet for all our pets.

They attended us really great, answered all our questions and my cat received great care from them. They where very attentive.

Both locations provide exceptional care and service. I always feel that my dog is in the best hands.

The staff was super nice. They do curbside service, so they came and took my dog from the car and took him in! After his exam the dr called me to discuss and concerns they or I had! Once the heart worm test came back, negative, they called, transferred me to make my payment, and we were out the door! Start to finish it was about a 45min ordeal! Amazing!!! Thank y’all so much for taking care of my Church!

Friendly staff and excellent vets. We feel very confident in taking our GSP dogs there. Very accommodating hours.

This was my first visit to Companion Care with Toby for services not available in DeLand where I reside. They were responsive and provided everything he needed and put me at ease. I look forward to my next trip feeling assured of their continued compassion and care. Sincerely, Lucille
