Tails of the Clip Saint Petersburg, Florida

I've just relocated to St. Pete in 2020 and have had struggled for some time in finding a reliable groomer, to the point where I started to bathe and trim up my Aussie, Chance, myself. Chance is always super excited to see the staff when I drop him off and always comes out looking like the cutest boy. I'm super thankful to have given groomers in St. Pete another try, and especially happy that I found Tails of the Clip. Leah, and the whole staff do a phenomenal job at taking care of Chance and cutting his hair correctly. Some say that Aussie's can be tough dogs to cut, and they make it seem like its not.

Have only been here 1 time, but our Shih Tzu looks wonderful! I think she liked her groomer, as she was very loving towards us!

They did an amazing job cutting my dog's hair. I am still getting used to the grooming process, so I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but they were very helpful with their suggestions. They helped me find a low maintenance cut that still looks cute. And she smelled great for days after. This will be the only groomer I go to from now on.

Awesome service! They took care of my pup and he came home clean and cool. Not easy with my nervous boy.

I took my shelter dog we adopted a month ago in for his first grooming. They were so conscientious and caring with him. They had to do a full shave as he was very matted but explicitly asked what we were looking for before diving in. He’s so much more comfortable and the shave is very even and well done. We’ll definitely be coming here for maintenance from now on. He was very happy when he came out so we know he was in good hands.

This was Sam's first puppy bath from groomer. He was very pleased and plans on all his future appointments to be here. Excellent customer service and passed Sam's test. We are loyal to great customer service. (He got that from me)

I thought they did a really good job with my dog's nails but could really use some help with customer service. Came in for the first time and they didn't ask me if I'd been there before, took my dog to the back without asking any history and then found out they have first time discount after charged full price. Probably won't come back unless in a pinch.

They do an excellent job at an affordable price.

Had my little puppers there twice and just love it! They are fast,reliable and most accommodating! Leah is great and we will definitely be returning ❤️

I called and got an appointment for my dog Coby same day! They did an excellent job. I dropped him off and they got done with my dog quickly- took about 1.5 hours! I used to take my dog to petco in pinnelas park and never again!! Long story short last time I took him to petco, I went to pick him up and he was having difficulty walking- it landed him with multiple vet visits, a neurologist and surgery to fix a ruptured disc that petco ended up paying for. Needless to say, I was somewhat anxious to take my dog to any groomer again. Tails of the clip were fabulous, professional, completed the haircut exactly how I explained, and my dog was so happy when we left. I will def return! Thank you guys!

Great last minute stop! Short and sweet service and they did a thorough job on the nail filing. Fair pricing. this will be our new spot! Happy to have found a place on the first try.

This was my first time taking my dog Skye there. They were so nice and we're reasonably priced too. I am very happy with the results! They were so nice to my dog Skye and she was very happy when I picked her up! She even had an adorable watermelon bandana on. She looked like a beauty queen :-) Going to take my other dog Bob there too.

Great experience with my little dog Max here. He had his nails trimmed, and they came out so smooth. He was treated very well with individual attention. Thank you!

They did a really good job she looks good and she feels good in all this heat.

Took my dog here for the 1st time last week and Leah did a great job! My dog has been to Dandy's, Petsmart, Furry Friends and Gateway to be groomed and she either comes back traumatized, nicked or like someone cut her hair with a lawn mower it is so patchy and uneven...not this place! She was so happy when I picked her up and her haircut was perfect. I gave 4 instead of 5 only for customer service/special touches. Some of the other places charge less but they include a little bandana/bow and she smells better, so that would have been nice to have without extra cost. I also got a bit of a cold vibe from this place - they were not overly friendly and just very to the point. Overall great experience though! I will be back for sure.

These folks do a good job with the dogs. I would recommend them. They won't be grooming my dog no, as unfortunately he crossed over the rainbow bridge recently.....

It was the first time I used Tails of the Clip and they did a fantastic job. My dog is a Chew/Lab mix. They cut his hair to look like a lion. So cute.

Lea always takes exception care of our guide dog. She is efficient, courteous and very professional. Highly recommended this groomer!

Awesome people they're reasonable very friendly

Third and last time using these groomers. Never encountered friendliness towards my pet, seem inexperienced at handling animals and look unhappy with their job. Don’t bring your animal here if you care about quality treatment.

Wonderful experience. Very nice people, beautiful hair cut on our new puppy. The dog did great and seemed quite happy. We will be back!

Leah is fantastic especially with Diamond. I recommend her to everyone.
