They do a good job but would be better off finding someone who doesn't get defensive over conversations about a dog's behavior and who records notes to ensure services owner has communicated should not be performed on dog are followed at repeat appts.

Really a fantastic place to get your doggies groomed. If you’re looking for a dog groomer you can trust your baby with, you’ve found it here. My miniature poodle can be very timid around strangers but she has no problem coming here, and she has never looked better. They did an amazing job and I will certainly be back.

I'm a New Client and was able to book an appointment 1 day in advance for a nail trim, on my Terrier Mix. My Shazam is unpredictable in his behavior, due to being abused, in his past. Having no fear, Dandy Groomers welcomed my Shazam, and with no complications, the job was complete within minutes. Best dog groomers in St. Petersburg! Jim does a spectacular job on our golden retriever. We drop her off a hot mess and Jim transforms her into a beautiful dog. You can tell he takes pride in his craft as evidenced by the atmosphere of his salon, his knowledge, and the way he treats his clients (both human and furry) like family. We recently moved and now travel 45 minutes to see Jim!

Dandy’s always take care of my boy Baxter. He is usually a nervous wreck when going to new places but he always settles down once he is at Dandy’s. They go slow with him and make sure he is comfortable the entire time. Today, he got a Christmas scarf and a toy from Dandy’s for being a good boy! I only trust them with Baxter and I highly, highly recommend them. Thank you for always being so caring with him!

Lido my Golden Retriever just returned home from his second pet grooming experience with Kim at Dandy's Pet Grooming. There is no way to overstate how impressed I am with the great care Lido receives with Kim. Lido comes home professionally cut, smelling terrific and as happy as a clam. Lido races to get to Kim when he comes into the lobby to collect him for his appointment. It is also worth mentioning that the care that Jim and Kim have put in place regarding COVID-19 is beyond the pale. The facility is set up so there is no contact between the pet owner and the groomer. It is an excellent example of how it should be done. I highly recommend this pet grooming business for your beloved pet. They are simply the best.

Dandy’s Pet Grooming Inc. is hands down THE BEST groomer anywhere and especially in Saint Petersburg, FL. Jim has been grooming my standard goldendoodle for almost 4 years now and he always goes above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and she always looks absolutely beautiful! They provide excellent customer service and keep their business sanitized and extremely clean. They have certainly taken even more precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic. In June of 2019, I took Roxie to get groomed and asked if they had Tampa Bay Rays fabric for their cute bandanas they put on the dogs. I had tickets for Dog Day at the Rays, so of course I wanted her to look cute and be in Rays gear! Unfortunately, they said that they didn’t have any fabric. When I went to pick her up, they had gone to a store, purchased a Rays t-shirt and made a bandana for me! I was absolutely speechless and couldn’t believe they did that for me! I was in tears by their love and kindness! They are amazing groomers, but even better humans and I’m so thankful to be able to take my baby girl there! If I could give them 10 stars I would!

The best groomers in town! I tried 3 other groomers before going to Dandy. They do a fantastic job and are very professional. My dogs leap with joy every time they arrive (no joke!). You may be able to pay less somewhere else but you won't get nearly the service that Dandy offers.

Scheduling is awful. Don’t bother scheduling online like their website and answering machine suggests. Once you confirm a date online you’ll receive a message that you’ll have to call in to reschedule it. Brilliant.

Dandy's is by far the best groomer we've ever been to in any of the 5 states we've lived in over the past 10 years. Our dogs have always had anxiety (as many do) going to the groomer, but they actually look forward to going to Dandy's, and are genuinely excited to see the owners when we arrive. Right out of the gate the owners each worked with one of our dogs, and stayed as that dog's primary groomer for every subsequent visit to really build the relationship. The dogs always come home smelling and looking beautiful. I can't say enough great things about the owners or the great service they provide!

Jim and Kim have been taking excellent care of our dog Shutter every other week for the last three years, and we couldn't be happier! Neither could Shutter, he loves going to Dandy's! We are so grateful to have these world-class groomers in our community! We thank you very much for taking such great care of our bundle of fluff! We stopped by for a quick nail trim and they were very accommodating. Although they require appointments, they squeezed us in and their willingness to accommodate won them a customer! Kim was so loving and patient with my two terriers and gave extra praises and attention... You can tell both Kim and Jim are very passionate and have a ton of pride in their business.

Very cute, clean shop. The owners are very nice and it has a calm atmosphere. Jim was very good with Macie, she needed her nails trimmed "right", the right length with no jagged edges that tear my skin up, she's a puppy and a hand full, but he was kind and patient with her. I finally found the right place to have them done correctly!! Yayyy!! They have "Tropical Clean" products which I love, so I bought several packages for less $ than PetSmart! I have already gave a referral to a friend that was looking for a place like Dandy's. I don't refer places unless they are too notch!!! Give Dandy's a try. Support local small business!!!

They care about the animals, it isn't just a business to the owners. They are excellent groomers who take pride in what they do.

They've groomed our very large Golden Retriever Honey multiple times and we've been happy with each experience. Because she's a big girl and doesn't really care for grooming, Jim takes his time with her so that she's always willing to be groomed again. She looks fabulous every time

Nice people, nice place, good work and can be pricey.

They do a good job grooming, very clean shop. BUT their online schedule system is a mess. Three times I've tried to schedule online, problems every time. Last time I mentioned it to Kim, and he says "it's not a problem" and basically blows me off. Just had the same problem again - it accepted the apptmt online, then got an email saying "that appointment time is not available please call to reschedule." So I call, mention to Kim, and he can't take me until several days after the system said he was available. He's full of excuses, not even an apology, and he hangs up on me. Bother, waste of time, frustration. So much for customer experience, I'm no longer a customer.

I have been bringing my little long haired Dachshund here for about a year now. They never disappoint! She always looks so adorable and happy when I pick her up. They have my preferences saved in their system so I do not need to explain it each time. The place itself is really cute and clean. I love that they put a seasonal bandanna on her each time too! The only con is I wished they had a rewards program for loyal customers. Buy 10 and the 11th is 1/2 off or something. That would be nice!

Love, love love Dandy's Grooming! I will never take my babies anywhere else. They seem to genuinely care about your pet while in their care. They listen to your instructions, and do a superb job. I couldn't be happier, and my babies are too.

Kim and Jim did a wonderful job with my chocolate lab, Nittany. This was her first grooming experience and I was nervous. They welcomed her as if she were their own. The owners are amazing. They treated my doodle like a person which makes me happy. Not your typical groomer and I treat my pups like my children so it is important to find others that will love them with me. Its not cheap, but you always get what you pay for and these guys go above and beyond. I was referred to them by a random encounter at a pet store. It was the best recommendation I've ever had.
