My local go too for my pets. Independently owned. Nice staff. Suffering a little from Covid, like all stores, so the inventory can fluxuate, but again, not their fault. Ample parking.

First off the customer service staff and most of the employees are SUPER helpful which is why I gave two instead 1 stars. However, the owner / manager (older man) is not a pleasant person to deal with at all. They charge 16 dollars per dog for the self service dog wash, pricey but I was willing to pay for my two dogs so I paid 32 dollars to wash my two dogs myself. After I already paid and waited for 20 minutes for the room to open up this same man appeared and started giving me a real hard time because I had two dogs with me. I was puzzled as to why considering I just paid 32 dollars for a self service dog wash, but after a little while it was clear he didn't want my very nice pitbulls in his store. This happened back in Aug and I didn't leave this review then and didn't really plan to until today. I just went to the Pet Supplies place on the corner of 62nd Ave N / 9th st N in the Winn Dixie plaza and had a 180 degrees experience! 10 dollars a wash or 5 or 25 dollars! So 5 dollars vs 16 and no judgements or issues with me brining my two dogs in. For the self service dog wash there is no comparison go to the other place.

They have high quality upscale dog food not found in big chain stores. Love their coupons and get a free product after purchasing 12. I drive over 20 miles to come to PFW

I needed to get my dog's Zignature Lamb formula, and I called to see if they had any in stock. The gentleman who answered the phone was extremely helpful and friendly. When I arrived at the store the same gentlemen assisted me with finding the product I needed it, and rang my order up. He was very helpful/friendly. I will be back in the future.

Very rarely do I ever take the time to review a store with a negative experience. I’ve shopped at Pet Food Waterhouse for over a year now and appreciate their selection and holistic products. This is why I’ve given them 3 stars versus any lower. However, the customer service provided in my last experience was actually almost disrespectful. Typically the store provides a $5 coupon when $30 or more is spent - which I love and so appreciate and is the main reason I’ve returned as I’m right down the street from St. PetersBark which is where I will now shop. Pet Food Warehouse also provides discount to First Responders and Military - which I also love and respect. I am a nurse and have received the 10% discount on SEVERAL occasions. This afternoon I was denied for this discount as a nurse is not considered a first responder, which is valid but almost borderline disrespectful as I’ve received the First Responder Discount on SEVERAL occasions if this coupon is of better value versus the $5 coupon. Customer service goes THE LONGEST way and this experience has caused the store to lose not only my business but it will trickle down as I’ve recommend several people because typically the customer service is remarkable. Lesson, make sure your staff is consistent and knowledgeable. If not, the customer isn’t wrong for expecting and is now going elsewhere. Blessings.

I had never ordered online before and called the store to get details about delivery and curbside pickup. Darby explained how each worked and took my order over the phone. I went to pick up and she brought the dogfood out to me and put it in my car. She was so helpful and polite. It was an easy transaction.

We have three generations of dogs that have been eating the food from this place quite healthy

This is the best pet store I ve been to in a long time! They had several Pet Pal Cats in a room where you can go in and hang out with them. It was wonderful! Everyone was so helpful, and nice! Great experience!!

Great selection of RAW foods for your dogs and cats. Their prices are good too compared to other stores that carry raw options. If they don’t have an item in stock they’ll order it for you.

Employees were SUPER HELPFUL, empathetic, caring, knowledgable, and So much MORE! Got there on a Sunday evening recently just prior to closing and the helped my Dog and me TREMENDOUSLY!!! my elderly dog was very sick, couldn't wait for Monday morning appt with vet as he was Suffering beyond my ability to help him. They asked several questions and recommended a few things and by Early Monday morning he was almost his normal self. My vet said that were totally correct in what they suggested. THANK YOU

I've been going to Pet Food Warehouse for years. Customer service is perfect, and there are several customer food programs that there is no footwork for you to receive. For example FROMM gives you every 13th bag of dog food free, and Pet Food Warehouse registers their customer's purchases for them with no effort by the customer. Whereas, Pet Supplies Plus makes their customers go online and register everything themselves in order to receive perks. With Pet Food Warehouse, that extra service element, and being greeted and helped without asking, it makes a huge difference. I walk into other places, and staffs are not saying hello, or offering you help. I have to go search for help at other stores. I'll drive the extra distance for good customer service.
