Crosswinds Veterinary Hospital Saint Johns, Florida

The service and compassion we've received here is top tier! We have quite the zoo at my house but we take all of our fur babies here and Dr. Lockwood and her team are exceptional! Animals have always been a part of my life since I was a kid and naturally so have veterinary hospitals, I've even worked in a few myself and never have I seen such care from a whole staff. We recently had a few pups! My golden retriever went into labor at home the other night but unfortunately the 6 we had didn't make it and Izzy was too tired to push out the rest. When morning came we called Crosswinds and Dr. Lockwood and her team helped us with no hesitation. We now have 4 healthy and beautiful babies thanks to them! The atmosphere here is also amazing, the team seems well cared about and happy. They know who we are when we walk in and they know our pets which is a great feeling when animals are family to us pet owners. They are always super kind and helpful when picking up the phone. We thank this team immensely and are so grateful for all they have done for us!

We had to find a new Vet after saying Goodbye to our pup. Our other dog Buddy wasn't feeling well, its difficult finding a new place after all that... but I'm happy and relieved to say we have our new vet! We decided on Crosswinds because of Google Reviews. After our visit and experience I can fully say this place is amazing! The level of care, communication, and overall atmosphere I am genuinely happy! Dr. Lockwood and Elicia (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) went above and beyond my explanations, which are set pretty high because Buddy means everything to our family. ❤

Crosswinds is just fantastic. I’ve been to 4 vets now in the Jax and St Johns area (in addition to numerous more in PA, GA, and AZ) and can say without a doubt that this is the best doctor and vet office that I have found. Very caring, knowledgeable, sweet, and affordable. Both the doctor and all of the staff are wonderful.

Erica started our wonderful experience at this great location for your animal’s needs. We weren’t in the best of moods but she made us feel comfortable and that is priceless. Dr. Lockwood is professional and compassionate and we will continue to utilize her services as long as we live in the Saint Johns area.

Dr. Lockwood and all the staff are fantastic!! From the moment we walk in the door we feel welcomed. We have been with this office for over a year and have always had a great experience. We always get personalized care. Dr. Lockwood takes her time explaining everything.... whether we're there for a sick visit or a routine exam. I can't imagine taking our doggies anywhere else!!!

Dr. Lockwood was very caring for our pup. Her assistant greeted us right when we entered the clinic and was very kind to us. This place definitely exceeded my expectations. Dr. Lockwood took her time in explaining what was going on with our pup and didn't rush through it. You could tell she was doing everything thoroughly. Will definitely come back to this place again if necessary. Thanks to all the staff that helped us out today.

Excellent service! Emergency boarding required some shot updating. They called the Boarder directly to get clarity and quickly called me back for same day appointment. Wonderful office staff and incredible veterinarian.

We had our first visit today and we are so happy and impressed. Very thorough exam, lots of fun and treats. UPDATE: STILL AMAZING. I wish they could treat humans because I would love for them to be my PCP. Both of my babies have had EXCELLENT care!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

When we brought our girl cali in here they were so caring and understanding and worked around d our budget to make sure she had the best care and that we could afford it. And they were so patient with our boy artemis. We live 27 minutes away but would drive 2 longer if we had to to have them loom after our babies.. We love them so much and would recommend them to everyone.

Took my kitty here for the first time today and I will most definitely be coming back. Alicia was wonderful as well as Dr Lockwood. They were so sweet and did very well taking care of my fur babies ear infection!

Switched to here from another nearby vet. Really appreciate the service and feel like they are doing the service that is needed for my dog, rather trying to sell me a bunch of plans and treatments that he doesn't need. Friendly team and always been on time with appointments.

Dr. Lockwood and all the staff were very caring and professional. They took time to listen and address all our concerns while moving quick enough to keep all the their other appointments on time. Me and my husband have been going to this Vet for over a year and love it! Our 2 dogs and 2 cats go here for everything. Regardless of the situation they have always been very responsive and able to give us an appointment same day/week. We have a “hard to handle” cat that we have had problems with vets in the past, but they have treated her with nothing but care and love. Would highly recommend!

Excellent clinic! The staff at Crosswinds is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the clinic itself is modern and impressive. They go out of their way to make our dogs feel comfortable and safe, which is a big deal when you have animals who are apprehensive about going to see the vet. I recommend them to everyone, I can't imagine a better clinic in the area!

Amazing experience at Crosswinds today. The staff is terrific and made my dog Baxter feel so comfortable and Dr. Lockwood was very informative and amazing as well. They all love what they do and it shows.

Love this place! We drive a long way because its so worth it! Gorgeous building, friendly staff, and a caring hands on veterinarian. They go out of their way with little extras like posting your pets name when arriving, toys and a cat tree in the kitten room, soda or coffee offered. Everyone is so professional yet comfy.

The staff at this vet clinic is literally so sweet and so knowledges of what’s going on with your pet. They take samples and show you what they find. I felt extremely comfortable bringing my dog here for the first second and will be definitely coming back.

Dr Lockwood has a great practice! The vet and technician both had giant breed dogs so they related very well to my large beasts! I was able to make an appointment quickly as a new patient and they spent time answering all of my questions. My dogs have white coat syndrome so are always nervous at the vet’s office but they were showered with love and a few treats and my pups were quickly won over. My dogs names are posted both outside the clinic on a welcome sign and inside their exam room which is so special. They don’t read yet but I love seeing it ???? Highly recommend!
