Would not recommend bringing an animal here if it is not yours. Even if it’s for the good of the animal, and you are just babysitting. It ends up hurting you in the long run if they want to bring they animal there later on.

I have been with Banfield in Tradition for over 16 years since moving up from Fort Lauderdale. I have had many years of putting all of my dogs ive had with their best wellness plans and dealt with wonderful veterinarians and front desk employees over the years. Sadly I began to notice a decline in the way business is being conducted a few years before Covid-19 even raised it's ugly head. Although appointments were made, waiting times for check-ups and shots were keeping us in a room for almost 2 hours. I understand Port St. Lucie has been getting bigger and business's need to change so drop offs then became a thing. We would drop off our dogs bathed the night before at 8:30 and hours later get a call to pick them up. The smell of our dogs driving home was horrible due to being in a kennel for long periods of time. After saying something about this, they did fix that situation. Now for the reason I am going to reluctantly move on to another vet. I called Monday morning because my dog has been limping on his back paw. I know my dog is unruly and doesn't like being locked in a kennel and I know the rules of Covid-19 makes it even more problematic that he is flagged not good for a drop-off. I said he didn't seem to be in pain and I wanted him to be seen Tuesday so I could give him the pills the day before that calms him down before we usually drop him off for his dental cleanings as well as putting a muzzle on him, so he is easier to be handled. I received an answer that because he cant be dropped off due to his attitude i wouldn't be able to be seen for 3 weeks. Being this is an emergency and he should be seen I should try another Banfield in Stuart if they have an earlier appointment time. I felt after all these years of devotion of dealing with all the changes to not even to be put on hold and ask someone else better options so he can be x-rayed and evaluated. My business was not so important to them anymore. I know I will probably receive an apology to this and somehow try to rectify this the best they can but my dogs leg needs to be evaluated and mended and another vet will now be getting my business. Hoping you change with the amount of people that put their trust in your service.

I didn't use Banfield Pet Hospital I went in to PetSmart to get a safety harness for my dog but you don't give me that option

First Banfield that I have visited that allowed me to bring all three of my dogs to one appointment. Most other locations have a two pet limit per appointment. The ladies called to remind me of appointment a week out and the day before. Casey was so friendly and took time to answer our questions!

I’ve been with Banfield for about 3 years and this was the best experience there yet! My German shepherd, Chewie, is so anxious and our vet tech, Julia, gained his trust and made him so comfortable during the exam! Dr Goodwin answered all our questions before we even asked them! They weren’t able to complete his pedicure because Chewie had had enough by that point, but they gave us all the tips and tricks to either do it at home or bring him back a different day. They didn’t make us feel as if Chewie was a bother. We really appreciated all of Dr Goodwin’s and Julia’s help and expertise. Great job Banfield!

We have been going to Banfield for over 15 years, around 4 at this current location. The staff and Doctors are wonderful and caring. We have always been treated with the utmost respect and they have provided great care for all of our dogs.

Every time I come I’m here for over an hour with a healthy dog. I walk out of here owing hundreds of dollars. I have a payment plan that covers absolutely nothing. I will not renew my plan. So far I’m into them almost 1000 bucks and all my dog had was an ear infection

I have been a client of Dr. Wydysh's since my dog was a puppy, and I'm very happy with the service at this location. The front office staff is very friendly and they always remember my dog by name. Tiffany, the office manager is always so friendly and helpful and clearly works very hard. Everything there always seems to be running smooth, no matter how busy it is. Dr. Wydysh is the sweetest vet I have ever known. Her kindness and compassion are beyond compare, not only with my dog but with me as well. I tend to be a nervous pet owner that asks a lot of questions and she always makes me feel calm and understood. This truly is her calling and my dog and I feel so lucky to have found her. I recommend her as a vet to anyone who will listen! Even when my dog is worked up and bouncing off the walls, she handles her with expertise and love. Banfield has a true gem of a doctor in her!

I have banfield for 6 years, it was good at the beginning before we moved but once we started using the Tradition location everything changed. One of my dogs got really ill and after the charge me a large amount they send him home and I end up finding another Vet to care for my 3 pets. I still have to pay for the insurance policy even though I’m paying else where for my pets to be seeing, their customer service and bedside manners are so awful I rather pay another veterinarian when my dogs need anything. Do yourself a favor and save your money, in my opinion if you willing to pay insurance for you family member is because you expect a higher level of care and service, so once my year is up I’m so done with Bandfield I will take my 3 dogs where my business and family are appreciated.

I do not recommend any of Banfield's locations. Beware, if you love your pet then don't make the mistake we did.

I have been taking my fur babies to Banfield for over 8 years now. Everyone has always been so kind and loving to my entire family. Our Vet Kate has left but the new Vets I have met so far have been amazing. Theresa is beyond amazing and we love her dearly! All of the vet techs are so sweet!! We have had nothing but the best service and best experience with Banfield!

I just moved here from NC, and I loved the banfield up there. I called this morning to schedule my puppy for shots and refill his heart worm pill. The front desk girl started with, “he’s overdue for his pill, it hasn’t been ordered since July and he’s overdue on his shots.” She was being quite rude. I politely told her that I ordered 3 doses last time I filled the prescription, and asked her to tell me the date he is due for his shots which she told me 10/22. Mind you, this is 10/09. So I am not overdue on anything, but yet she made me feel like I wasn’t doing what’s best for my dog. I don’t think I will be bringing my dog to them for anything. Sorry, but first impressions really do matter.
