Lots of COVID restrictions in place, which I think is good but not quite sure why you never really get to "see" the vet. Is there really one back there?

If you’re going to be that rude and unprofessional, (not just the staff, but the manager as well) you’re only going to get 1 star. You’d get 0 if 0 was an option! Petsmart should get you out of there!

We had our pup groomed by a wonderful girl named Melanie in Jensen beach FL You could not ask for a kinder gentler groomer.

I am dog setting and when talking to the owners they asked me to take him there. Everyone was kind caring. Had to leave him there for a few hours. About 3 hours I picked him up and he is doing well.

The staff who work at this location are great. However, you are constantly forced to drop off your pet and leave them there the entire day. Even when your pet is having a more serious medical issue. They don’t allot time for more urgent matters. This location is always understaffed and over booked. Also, just a warning: don’t sign up for the wellness plan. Even if your pet passes away, you are still responsible for the entire year of payments.

If you love your pet then don't make the same mistake we did. I do not recommend Banfield.

Poor attitude and unprofessional. Tradition is the same. We've been customers for two years, but we're never using banfield again after how we were treated today.

Cut my chitzu in eyelid , started at the eye first ...no where else was clipped shaved or shampooed . When asked how long she has been grooming she informed me 2 years and was in charge of grooming ????.Med and food only from there store now , I was escorted by police off the property, not to come back for a year.

I am now stuck with them for a contract. Every single visit I waste 30 minutes waiting so that I can be marketed to multiple times and forcefully say no multiple times before I can just get the bill and check out. My last visit, the doctor fooled me into pimple spray for our puppy which turns out to be completely unnecessary to treat. So that was $35 for nothing. Then, I had to sit through 2 marketing spiels on how I should pay them $250 for a year of flea and heartworm. They justified that by offering me the most expensive flea and heartworm combo on the market and telling me I would spend "more" money otherwise because puppies grow so fast. I declined. Frankly, any normal vet's office would have been happy to sell me basic heartworm medicine for $5 or $10 for the first couple months until my puppy grows bigger and I can buy another package. So, I paid a full $19.99 for 6 months of basic heartworm medicine online and planned to give away the extra. Then I get declined from 1800PetMeds because Banfield says they are worried about me buying 6 months worth for a puppy. So I'm not allowed to buy basic medicine from them and I'm not allowed buy it online. They are a vet marketing machine and not an actual VET'S OFFICE. I just want to buy my dog some heartworm medicine. Seriously.

The staff was great with me. They were very helpful. I was alone with multiple pets and could have used an extra pair of hands, which they were more than willing to supply.

A terrific example of caring and accommodating professionals who have dedicated their lives to the care of those who are unable to care for themselves.....our family pets.

The wellness plan at Banfield is unparalleled. I have had 2 dogs that have been cared for by the wonderful doctors and staff at Banfield. They know you, they know your dog and they show it. Unlike other veterinarians, they follow up with you and are always available to answer questions. What I appreciate most, is that many of the doctors and staff have remained at Banfield for over a decade. Dr. Massman is very knowledgeable and caring.

I would like to start off by saying I'm very disappointed with this company and their pet plan. PLEASE LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR PET CARE. The will reel you in with their pet plan and you end up paying more money rather than paying out of pocket. Banfields discounts and products are not worth paying for monthly and you end up spending more money on your pet. Let it be known what you are agreeing to in their plan is a contract and can only be canceled after paying an outstanding balance. I took my sick kitten in to get antibiotics. I would have paid over $200 for the medicine (oddly expensive for the visit and medicine) however, they offered me the payment plan and I paid about $130. Do not fall into this trick because I had to pay over $300 after this situation. I contacted corporate to cancel the plan and discuss why the cancellation fee and visit was higher than what I would have paid out of pocket. Each representative could not give me an answer and washed their hands with the situation while throwing the hospital under the bus. There been many horror stories where if you decide to stop paying the plan and do not agree with the cancellation fee they will send your outstanding balance to collections which means it will ruin your credit history. Please look for other hospitals in the area.
