Great place and very knowledgeable vets

Dr. St. John is always there when Okie needs him. He goes over him head to tail every time he goes in there. Okie loves going to see Dr. St. John. He takes time explaining everything, shows me how to put on his cream and his meds.Best place to take my babies.

Staff is wonderful and very friendly. Dr is is great with animals. Even my daughter's kitty who only "allows" her to pick him up, is happy to see the Dr!!! ????????????

2nd vet her in PR and by fary favorite. He took time to actually talk and listen to concerns and question. Not bad priced. Will be using him for all my 4 babies now.

Dr. St. John is very professional, my cat was a little unsure of him at first but immediately warmed up to him.

Dr. Stjohn is great, knowledgeable and down to earth. I'm happy.

The purpose of my visit was to euthanize my beloved dog. Everyone at Gulfview is kind and compassionate. They really took the time to make it as easy as possible and most importantly, comfortable for my dog. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Gulfview Staff!

I cannot speak on the cat or dog side of things, but I have been taking my bird here for quite a few years. And very recently I took him to a different vets office only to find out that the wing injuries I had originally taken him here for had healed incorrectly and the bones could not be fixed. I should have known when the vet said he didn't need to do an x-ray or sling of any sort that there was something wrong. The staff is very kind and I've always been treated well but I cannot reccomend taking your avian friends here.

My dog is nervous to the extreme that she has to be sedated for annual checkups. I recently moved here and Dr. Saint John has her to a point where we don't have to sedate her within 2 visits! I still have to give her nerve medication but it's cheaper! I tried the doggy daycare hoping she'd like it so I could work her into boarding when I travel. I just boarded her last weekend and she was a happy girl!! That's Amazing and true growth for my hurricane rescue 3 year old.

Found the vet through my groomer and love him! Due to prior abuse, my dog doesn't like most many men but Dr St John became an immediate exception and he has better solutions to some of our problems without costing a fortune. I highly recommend this vet to everyone.

Excellent establishment! The staff is very friendly, the veterinarian is very friendly very knowledgeable! Second time bringing our pitbull in, they are definitely our vets for our animals. Very highly recommend!

What a great experience. Loved the doctor and also the staff. Entire visit, start to finish was great. Looking forward to many yrs of our new puppy being treated there????????

The doctor seems to care but is super expensive, like rediculous, and I even asked if there are specials and he said he has enough business he don't have to offer specials, my dogs needed two updated shots each and it was $423, he is the only one that appointment with in the time frame needed or I would have left.

I have mixed emotions on the care for my baby Bella. Now she has surgery a growth removed from her leg and it appears ok and a hematoma that seems to be going away like he said. But here are my issues... before surgery I said I didn’t want to be in the room and I knew it was going to be difficult for me to watch but I didn’t want Bella uncomfortable and just wanted to hold her while she fell asleep. The assistant never came and he just started the operation with me there holding her the entire time. After it was over he wrapped her leg and said she seemed to be coming around nicely and then remember he forgot to laser her suture. So he unwrapped her leg and used the laser and rewrapped it she seemed uncomfortable but I’m sure it had to be done but did she feel it? I don’t know but when I got home I was charged for an assistant, a cold pack I never saw and removal of the staples he put in that Bella pulled out as soon as the week went by he told me to remove the bandage. I called them to ask what to do because she was yanking to get these staples out and the what sounded like high school student who answered the phone said no one was in the hospital to advise on what to do about her pulling them out. The called back around 8 pm to tell me to do nothing it’s ok let her pull them out herself??? Irk I just felt like he is a good old school vet who may need someone to help update their practices. I don’t know but my experience wasn’t that great.

We love Doctor Saint John. He is so kind and he really cares about the pets. He manages to fit you in when you need him. He has a small office that has that good personal feeling to it.

A little pricey for some things but the service is great.

I brought my cat Axel in as an emergency appointment. I’d never been to this vet, we usually go to “All Pets” but they wanted $$$$$$. So the receptionist was so kind and caring, she booked me immediately for an hour later. The check in was easy, barely any paperwork. Dr St John was so great. Most veterinarians like to charge charge charge but this vet wasn’t like that. Axel came in because after being missing for 24 hours, he wasn’t walking, eating, drinking, or using the bathroom. He cried when you touched his back leg. I feared he had broke it. The Dr came in, did a temperature check (had a fever) and he started his exam by thoroughly checking Axel’s entire body. He didn’t require any X-rays to figure out that Axel was bitten a few times by another animal. We shaved the areas in question for him to get a good look at and he prescribed him antibiotics as well as a shot of it. Any other vet would’ve said oh we need blood work because he has a fever/infection and we need to rule out this or that AND you need to get expensive X-RAYS, and since he’s a cat and doesn’t know he has to be still, he needs sedation. This is why people don’t bring their animals to the vet- because it’s expensive and a lot of people get taken advantage of. I will be switching my vet office for all 3 of my fur babies to this vet office. I’m so thankful I found him!

Competent, thorough and reasonably priced.

Was lucky enough to get Millie seen same day at Gulfview Animal Hospital as I had called all over but given her being ill I also didn't want to drive far. The veterinarian was very pleasant and fair, performed detailed exam and gave us a continuing medical plan to get her to feel better soon. I plan on coming back in the future for Millie's needs.

Love this Vet, my mom has been going here for years bringing her animals & anytime I call & need to get my dog in there quick with it & pricing is good !
