On the two occasions I've had to use the Groves Veterinary Clinic, once for my Shih-Tzu, the other for my rescue Tuxedo cat, the service has been outstanding. Underway at the clinic was a renovation of the premises, so service was curbside. …

Groves Veterinary Clinic has been our Furbabies Clinic for 9 years. We are a Family of 4 Rescues and are Always Treated with Medical and Personal Care, by All Staff. Recently time had come to Say Goodbye to Our Senior Girl, and Lacey was My Rock through the entire Heartbreaking Process. She was Caring, Supportive and Kindly walked me through each step. She is always pleasant and has a Welcoming Smile. Thank You Lacey.

Dr Groves and staff welcomed us to the family this week and we are grateful to say we’ve finally found our “home!” Ms Jordan answered our call and was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. That first interaction is so important and Jordan went above and beyond. Ms Kathy and Ms Kim both also helped us navigate the details, information and organization. Always calm, kind and willing to listen. That says a lot to me. They checked on us and answered MANY questions because I am super picky who I trust with my family members. Ms Emily was our tech and she did a fantastic job. Explained in detail, answered all of our questions and was very prepared. Last but certainly not least, we got the pleasure of meeting Ms Lacey, our discharge nurse. She was kind, caring, organized and ready to help with anything at all to make sure that we felt comfortable, even after we left! It takes a lot to impress me and every single one of these women did. To them, it was just doing their job. Thank you to every single one of you for making us part of your family.

I’m very impressed with the care my pup has received with Dr Grove. He has such a great team. From My first phone call to Kathy, to everyone I’ve met through weekly puppy vaccines to the groomer have been excellent! I want to thank each and everyone of you for your loving care. I brought her home from her spay yesterday and they verbally went over discharge instructions and gave me a printed copy of post op instructions as well- exactly what I needed. They called yesterday evening and again this morning and let me know they are just a phone call away should I have a question or concern. I haven’t met Dr Grove, but if he shows as much compassion and care as his staff, I know my little girl is in good hands. I’ve read some reviews complaining about curbside service and I agree it’s not the optimal experience, especially when you haven’t met the surgeon. The only thing that could’ve made that better would be if Dr Grove picked her up curbside himself. Not a bad idea. Hopefully we’ll meet in the coming year. Until then, thank you for your care, expertise and your team of knowledgeable and compassionate staff.

We took both of our fur babies to Dr. Groves and had a great experience. Being new to the area, and having the same veterinarian back home for years, it was a bit stressful going somewhere new. Dr. Groves’ staff is very professional and thorough. The clinic is still performing curb side so Dr. Groves contacted me while we waited in our car and explained everything. He was very patient and answered any questions we had. A nurse from the clinic even called that evening to check on our babies. Thank you for providing such great care and putting our minds at ease.

I want to Apologize for my last statement of review. I was very distraught and not in the right frame of mind to even be leaving a review. I laid my Luke to rest a few minutes ago and I felt as if y'all had known what the outcome was gonna be all along. I was not ready to accept that at that time. I am sorry. Thank for doing what you do may you all Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year!

I brought my 9 year old lab to see Dr. Groves for a second opinion after being told by my vet that he had a sensitive stomach. One visit with Dr. Groves is all it took for him to find the actual problem. A mass in his stomachache. This is definitely not the outcome I wanted but at least I have an answer. Visit after visit with my vet in Englewood and they could not figure it out. My poor dog suffered for weeks until I saw Dr. Groves. If You want someone who will take the time to figure out what is wrong with your pet and someone who takes the time to actually explain things to you I suggest this office.

I don't consider vet appointments a production line to see how many can get done in a day. Vet visits, to my mind, are not good things to have on a drop-off basis. I will not take my dog or cat for an exam where I can't be present. I know how to hold for procedures, and my presence reassures my animals. But most critical is the opportunity to discuss symptoms and further diagnostic steps, explore what the vet is thinking, and be involved as an advocate and partner. Having had witnessed some terrible medical experiences. I tend to trust vets more than MDs -- but not that much more. My trust in the profession is declining for other reasons than the distanced exams, but this strategy does not help. Just so many things can go wrong when they don't have an advocate. Unfortunately, it appears this vet has decided to maintain this practice indefinitely, so it is now necessary for me to find another vet. Although I think the treatment was adequate, I could never really decide whether they were a compassionate, caring operation or a moneymaking operation. This tends to leave me to believe the latter. And please don't tell me how you been voted number one by some newspaper, the only vote I'm (or any pet owner) is concerned with is my (your) own!

I was new to town (literally only in town for a couple hours) and my dog got an injury to his toe. I called to see if I could get him in within a couple of days. To my surprise they said to come later that afternoon. They are currently curbside only but I knew just from talking with Ashley on the phone that my pup was going to be taken care of. When Lacey came to get him, I instantly knew he was in good hands. I Ben though I had never met Dr Groves in person, he explained everything very well on the phone. Had to go back in a week for check up and again Lacey was amazing. She didn’t even care that my dog just wanted to give her kisses. So glad to have found a vet so quickly.

Last week I noticed a mass on my 12 year old dog. Groves Vet Clinic got her right in. Dr. Groves and the whole team were so amazing during this whole experience. They gave me thorough details of what was going on with her and all the treatment options available. The staff put my mind at ease and answered all my non stop questions. They called through out the week to check on Coco. Today Coco had surgery and they did an amazing job. A couple hours after she was home they called to check on her. You can tell they truly care about their animals. I am so grateful I found Groves Vet Clinic.
