Very disappointed we made an “Appointment”for our little dog to get a consultation about his teeth, they are bad but he’s 14 and had a stroke about a year ago so we are worried about using Anesthesia. We arrived for our 9:30 appointment waited about 15 min to check in. I explained all our concerns, they said they would take him back, check him out and call me when he was ready for pick up, I asked how long that would take, she couldn’t tell me, I explained that we drove 50 miles and had no where to go and wait. 2 hrs later my husband went back in asking what was going on, they still hadn’t looked at our dog, he asked if he was offered water or a bathroom break. No one knew. My boy is old and has separation anxiety so my husband told them to give our dog back. We will find another Banfield with more caring staff. ????

I was disappointed that I couldn't get an appt for something other than regular checkups... No emergency services. I paid them over $30 a month for the last 7 years. Haven't seen a vet for the last 2 years. Had to drop the dog off and pick up later, but never saw the vet in person. I'm done.

At first when we first got the puppy plan all was good. Paid a little extra because he was "high risk breed" (he's a mixed breed, over $20 for a single benadryl dose). Once all vaccines were done and we paid nearly 500 in the plan plus extra fees we got no calls back and no follow up info. Called several times. Nothing in regards to scheduling neutering or getting pup the preventative meds needed. if you have an emergency you have to call their emergency line, stay on hold and prepay with credit card. Puppy got to some grapes - banfield emergency wanted several hundred down before even telling us where to go. So we went to local emergency and it was under 150 including sedation meds. Don't fall for the corporate scheme this place is running. We likely have to change our CC# just so we don't get charged further for non response. I'm sure I'll get a generic "contact so we can get a better understanding of your experience" response, but its been months and this review is our experience, with phone records proving our attempt at contacting . We can get better care as well as neutering done closer to home without a monthly fee or add ons at time of visit.

I'm not giving this place 5 stars because they definitely need more help but other than that... Everyone that works here is incredible!

Too expensive. Always a wait even if you have an appointment and you have to actually GET someone's attention before they will wait on you even though they see you standing there. Additionally, I called and said I had ordered flea meds for my cat. They said we don't need to approve meds for flea medication. Then, the company phoned them and they wouldn't approve the flea medicine. Very frustrating. Very unorganized. I changed to a vet closer to my home.

The worst place to try and get your pet in!! This is the second time I have made an appointment online only to be called the next morning and be told that its not available. Why offer appointment times with a particular doctor and then not honor it!! The other doctors had unavailable times but she had openings!! Only.to be told online doesn't recognize appointments already scheduled. Then why have it up online!!!!!!! It's not convenient Banfield if the appointments aren't correct!!!!!! And you should have honored the appointment!!!!!!!! Thanks for nothing. Truly has gone downhill.

They always take such great care of our boy! As much as he hates the vet, he really loves his vet tech! Pricing is reasonable. Wellness plan is a lifesaver.

I have been a long time user of Banfield. Since covid (that’s their excuse) the Veterinarians hide in the back. You drop your pet off with a vet tech and they do all the communication and correspondence for the doctor. I have a new puppy. The vet has never come out and spoken to me. For all I know, my puppy is not even being seen by someone with a doctorate. It’s a horrible way to practice veterinary medicine. There is no proof that dogs get covid and if there was, I wouldn’t know it because the doctor doesn’t speak with me. So why are the Vets hiding? My human doctor sees me in person. I also have worked for Medical doctors. They would never send out a CNA or a medical assistant to correspond with the patients in lieu of their medical opinions, advice and test results. I need to find a new Vet. Find a Vet practice that does things the right way. Part of their job is to educate humans and with respect a Vet tech does not have the education to do so. The Vet techs are very kind and loving to the pets but it’s not a replacement for a doctor and I have little faith in diagnosis or anything I’m being told because as far as I’m concerned I have no proof that the Vet exists.

Made an appointment online on Sunday. Said they had 1 appointment Tuesday so scheduled that since it was an urgent matter. Got called Monday to say they didn’t have her in the system and couldn’t see her until 7 days later! Why allow the appointment online for them to call and say it can’t happen and you have to wait 1 week to see a vet? Will be going somewhere else. Do not use them!

I have been with Banfield since 2012 with my Yorkie, Oscar. The doctors have always been wonderful and very professional. This past November to now, the practice manager Will, and receptionist Sally are absolutely terrible when it comes to taking care of your furbaby. I say this because, these two were more worried about me wearing a mask, and removing me from the building, rather than them caring for Oscar. I was never able to speak with our Doctor who has had his case since they started there YEARS ago. Will strong armed us and made his position known, yet forgot to tell me about a mass on my yorkies spleen.Or it being enlarged. These two were more worried about something not pertaining to their job. I do not write reviews EVER and i usually brush this off. But being that my yorkie is no longer here, i feel the need to describe my experience with these two people and warn others not to interact with them. They do not have your fur baby in their best interest. I feel as though they should not have the privilege to work with these precious babies of ours. EVER. If they would have mentioned the enlarged spleen, my yorkie would be here. We would have caught this in time and not OVER A MONTH LATER. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BABIES TO THESE TWO! If you have to go here, work with Megan up front, the little blonde lady (i forget her name), Dr. Hite and Dr. Flegel. They are angels.

Staff is friendly and flexible appointment times are convenient. However, the prices here are really much higher than other local vets.
