Went to get nexgard (flea protection) for my two dogs, was told I couldn’t even get a one month refill until I made a appointment and after, with one of my dogs due to no appointment in a little less than a year...customer lost...

We recently moved to the area and our neighbors recommended Dr. Nix at VCA Ponte Vedra. We brought our oldest dog there that has common older dog problems. After meeting with her, we knew we found the right vet. She has continued to see him over the past few months and we trust her recommendations. Such a relief as a pet owner to have a caring and compassionate vet.

Long story short, after having to make a that hard decision to put a pup down and joining a brand new puppy to your family, THIS is where you want to drive 25 miles out of the way to a trustworthy team of vets. I trust this office with my pets. I recently moved further away from Ponte Vedra Beach and tried a few “reputable” vets closer to me for emergencies- all they wanted was $ and put my pup on meds. They were pushy when I wanted to get my dogs medication from Costco and not from them. VCA PV has always kept me comfortable and my puppy is always comfortable being there, keeping me well informed and didn’t try to sell me $40 shampoos and insists on unnecessary tests. They care about my pet and their owners as well!

They have always been there and cared about our puppies! I wouldn’t trust another veterinarian practice more than them!

Autumn was absolutely amazing she took care of my dog my cat and my family with pride experience and a sense of Love of animals with Autumn at this location they are highly recommended.

We love Ponte Vedra Animal Hospital. We don't live nearby, but it's worth the extra drive to go there. The staff is professional and the doctors are fantastic.

We have been extremely pleased with the love and care given to our little “Maggie” at Ponte Vedra Animal Hospital. She has been a patient there for the last 10 years, and we love every Doctor on the staff. All the assistants are warm and very kind too. He professionalism is unrivaled. The compassion is beautiful!

We've been taking our pets to PVAH for almost 30 years. Our current pup is 9 years old, has thyroid issues, and is basically allergic to Florida! Without the diligent care he receives, the poor guy would be miserable. Today, he's active, alert & acting like he's young again. Highly recommend this clinic!

Great and caring pet care

Dr Hill and his staff were amazing with my cat Noodle! I was so worried he had a urinary blockage and was scared he was going to go into shock. Dr. Hill made room for me in his busy schedule to check out Noodle and explain everything to me! Definitely recommend!

Not the least expensive option out there but the quality of service is top notch!

Odin just had his teeth cleaned yesterday, 9/13/2019. I was highly anxious because he would need anesthesia. This was his first time having this procedure and would highly recommend PVAH to keep your BFF in Tip Top Shape for all the years of his life. I always do and will keep on referring my friends to bring their pets to PVAH and rate them a 110% Vet Caring Facility.

Wouldn’t bring our dogs anywhere else

I have been taking my animals (dogs) to PVAH since I moved to PV Beach 10 years ago. They have helped through puppies and when my older dogs have moved over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Darnell and Dr. Hill have spoiled my "Muttley Crew" and I trust them with anything regarding my animals. The staff is fantastic as well.

Dr. Darnell was on time, courteous, helpful and kind. I would recommend this vet wholeheartedly.

My dog, Honeybunch, has been treated at PVAH since I brought her home from the breeder. The staff is thoughtful, kind and answers phone calls quickly - which is essential when there is a problem.

I brought my Maggie here for a few years until her passing and now, my new pup, Molly. The vets are so kind and compassionate. I feel they’ve treated my dogs like they were their own pets.

I have been using PVAH, and most especially Dr. Hill, since I moved to Ponte Vedra in 1998. Dr. Hill and his staff have always been there for me and my pets whether for regular checkups or for those terrible emergencies that sometimes occur. On June 1, I lost my 14 year old Rat Terrier, Rafiki, suddenly. My home was too quiet for a month - Adopted two kittens from Jax Humane on July 2, and took them in for their first check -up and shots. Stinky and Lady received a big welcome. Thanks, Dr Hill and all the associates at PVAH.

We have been patients of PV Animal Hospital for 26 years - Duffy now enjoys a great relationship with Dr Darnell and Dr Hill. We thank them for their gentle care. Above is my last post - don't know when it was written - could have been today - Duffy had his annual physical with Dr Darnell - he is now 11+ and doing super! We feel we are in very capable caring hands! BTW Duffy is a Westie. ????
