Forever Vets Animal Hospital at Race Track St Johns, Florida

We discovered Forever Vets when our dog had an emergency on a Saturday afternoon and our vet was closed. Dr. Pittman was the vet on service that day and we were so impressed with her that we now take all of our animals to Forever Vets on Race Track Rd.

Our Pup got into something, had an upset stomach, as Mr. Chris put it “ Soft serve is coming out both ends.” He was super professional and easy to talk too. He also gave us detailed treatment plans for our Fur Baby with the prices so we knew what to expect financially. Dr. Pittman is super sweet and knowledgeable!!! Front office is also excellent, Ms. Destiny helped me gage the severity of my situation, she was cool and calm the whole time. I wasn’t willing to go to a new veterinarian when we moved out here. Now both my babies will be regulars!!!

Such a great experience! Brought in my 13 year old golden retriever for some leg pain and they got her back right away and treated her and us so amazing! They were so kind and helpful. Our vet tech Mike was extra exceptional and even stayed w us a bit longer to go over everything again and help comfort a nervous pet mommy! Would definitely recomend!!

On March 28th I brought my cat who was in the end stages of his life seizing, gasping for air and literally suffocating, to be put down because I knew that there was nothing that could be done to save him. The vet tech that did the intake was so worried about getting my form of payment that my poor baby laid their seizing in my arms, and I had to hold him so tight to keep him from seizing out of my hands. Then finally after my husband paid he went to go get the vet, at this point my poor baby was already gone, The vet was at least somewhat compassionate and explained that they still had to do the euthanasia medication even though he was gone which I already know as I have lost a pet before, I will never in my life return to a veterinarian clinic that cares more about taking their form of payment over the humane treatment of an animal, I brought my animal there to pass as comfortable as possible and he still ended up passing miserably in my arms grasping on for air. Then to make matters worse this tech did not even type his notes correctly and when I received my animals ashes back the dates provided were incorrect for his urn, thank god the crematorium was so understanding and replaced the box with the correct dates. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I’ve never had any issues with this location and love Dr. Pittman. The fact they are open 7 days a week is a bonus! The staff are always friendly and Molly loves getting treats from them.

Everyone is so nice and helpful at this office. I truly love taking my fur baby there.

I was in need of a new vet for my fur-baby and Forever Vets exceeded expectations! I'm so happy I found them. The staff is so friendly and comforting to animals who may be fearful. They are gentle and patient. I definitely recommend!

The manager Alyssa is very unprofessional. Her facial expression to my son were extremely rude. You need to hire a better manager

My experience was great! I always get extremely anxious at the vet, more so than my dog who takes the poking and prodding like a champ. From the moment we walked in the staff and doctors were so nice and informative. The team let me control the conversation and freely ask any questions I had without making me feel dumb, or like a bother.

We have been taking my German Shep here for several years. Great place.

Their all about money especially Dr. Pittman & when the rude manager speaks with you she’s very condescending and her facial expressions tell it all. I went to Julington Creek Animal Hospital where myself and my pet were treated with respect and kindness.

My senior Beagle was in great amount of pain and was not going to make it another day. It was Sunday morning and my Vet was closed. So I started making phone calls on availability and cost and of course location. The receptionist was very responsive to my sad situation of having to say goodbye to my beloved Beagle who was almost 13 years old. She went over all the services offered and found a time convenient for us that afternoon. Their experience with dealing with distraught parents of pets was certainly welcomed for this was the first time ever meeting us. I am thankful for their empathy to my girl dog and sympathy for our loss of an important member of our family. When we decide to add another Beagle to our lives I will using their services. I want to thank the entire staff who worked with us on February 28, 2021.

Our dog had an emergency at 6PM and we had only been here once prior for shots. I called them at 6PM and stated my emergency and they were able to squeeze my dog in last minute, sedate him, do a whole procedure and get us out the door before they closed at 7PM. I am so appreciative of them for taking us in last minute and helping my poor pup out. If we had had to go to an emergency clinic, it would have been hours of waiting and significantly more expensive. Thank you! You have a customer for life :)

I used Forever Vets up until recently. Had to put my fur baby down and they were amazing through the whole process. From The quality of life consultation to the end they were great. They made the experience as good as it can be. I received the paw imprint, flowers from them, then a card signed by all of the staff. Really made a tough situation better. I felt true compassion from everyone. This was the first pet I had to put to sleep and I am happy I had Forever Vets with me through the process.

Our Corgi was having issues hiccuping and/ or having throat spasms. We called 30 minutes before closing and even though they were no longer accepting patients they agreeing to seeing our dog. We are very lucky they did because the vet was able to locate and pull a very large string out of her mouth. If they weren’t able to do this tonight our dog might’ve have needed surgery. Thank you so much for seeing our doggo on short notice!

Wellness plan not worth being on, neuter still costs you $100+ and follow up visit they hit me with 60$ For something unrelated. I’ve been to other vets that take much better care when you’re on a plan or else why be on the plan at all. Most just make you pay for meds only.

This is our 3rd Forever Vets location and this one is the best by far. The staff is friendly, intelligent and very caring. Dr Pittman is a great Vet.

We like Forever Vets a lot! However, I privately send the reason a 5 star was not given. Nothing that would prevent other people to come to this location but, for sure a feed back that deserves to be submitted.

They were the best - Saturday got an appointment a plus since the long weekend they took care of my little man and by Sunday he was good and up and running!!!!LOL Actually drove all the way from Fleming Island and will use this place as my go to doctor they were great - Highly Recoomend

We had to put down our senior dog last minute because she was injured and the office staff and veterinarian took care of us like family. So much compassion so much respect, so much heart! They made it such an awful experience bearable and we will be forever thankful for that.

Dr. Pittman is the best Vet we've ever had, hands down, and the whole staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

My experience has been beyond fantastic! The staff were so accommodating and willing to work with me and my hectic work schedule. They were very understand and very compassionate with my dog Lucy. Thank you so much :)

Wellness plans are a great service. Vets are great, especially Dr. Pittman. Staff is terrific!

So very thankful for the team at this location for helping ease the pain of one of the most horrible days for me. They we very responsive about the severity of my sweet Louie and explained every step to me. Dr.Pittman was very empathic but still knew what was best for our baby. Highly recommend!

Very happy with this veterinary clinic. Dr. Pitman and her staff give our boxer, terrier and kitties excellent treatment (and we’re pretty particular) while also being considerate of our budget.

Awesome staff; they make you feel like you’re their one and only customer! Appointment or not, every experience has been easy and quick. Very accommodating and compassionate.

I took my furbaby in for a routine check-up & 3 yr rabies vaccine. Everything went great with the adjustments they made due to COVID-19. I really appreciate the extra steps you guys are taking during this pandemic. Dr. Pittman ROCKS!

Caring, friendly staff. Pricing was reasonable and love the fact the office is opened on Sunday's!

The staff is always pleasant & friendly. They truly care about your fur babies . Dr. Pittman is wonderful she goes above and beyond she has taken excellent care of our fur babies. Highly recommend this practice. Again the staff is really wonderful.
