Hirsch Animal Hospital Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

We have been using Hirsch Animal Hospital for our 3 cats and dog for about 6 years . The staff is incredible. They are all caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. I love this place and out pet family doesn't mind it either. *Update* I'm not sure what's going on here, but the service is not the same. The techs are not as friendly, caring or honest as the ones I have dealt with in the past 6 years. It seems like there is a different Dr on site each time I go there, I don't know who they are. And after the scary and bad experience the last time my dog was there, I can't imagine bringing my dog back.

Found our new favorite veterinarian! Dr. Hirsch is the best! Finally a vet who does not try to upsell you unnecessary procedures and of course, probably one of the last privately owned vets around the area! Support our "local" vets! We had the best experience with my baby pooch. Dr. Hirsch is extremely knowledgeable, professional, kind, with such a pleasant personality! Do not go anywhere else! You won't be disappointed!

I recommend Dr. Hirsch to anybody with a French Bulldog. If you love your dog and he's part of your family. Then you haven't fully loved that family until Dr. Hirsch is your vet.

Great place to take your pet. The front office runs very well and will will make it easy to get in and out with your pet. They really seem they care about your pet.

Has been our vet forever. Dr Hirsch is really attentive and cares about the animals. Never tries to upsell unneeded procedures. Feels like a true hometown vet!

I work long and odd hours. I've never felt hospitality like what I received from Hirsch Animal Hospital. They were very welcoming to me and my pup from the moment we walked in the door. All the staff greeted us, not just the front desk associate, which was a very nice touch and made me feel right at home. They were very willing to accommodate with my odd pick up and drop off time. The grooming my dog received was top notch! I also brought her here to get spayed and felt the utmost confidence that she was safe and comfortable. Even time I pick my pup up from here she's so happy! Thanks again Hirsch!

This vet is super Kind. I have had a dog recover from heart worms with a once new treatment. He has also seen most of our family dogs since I was much younger. We moved our pet care here in 2001 after a popular vet office proved to be a business and not a care center. Dr. Hirsch and the staff provide amazing care and follow up for our fur babies.

Sylvia i am the receptionist you have mentioned and nowhere on the hospital website does it say that we are a 24 hr/ after hour facility- we like almost every hospital refer to the nearby Animal E.R. as they have a full and ready staff for that purpose. We are one of very few owner operated non chain owned veterinary hospitals left. Please reread the website and kindly point out where there was any confusion about being open for 24 hrs and we will certainly fix it. Best of luck to you and your pet.

Just moved from out of town and the Dr. and Staff here were wonderful with my pup. Explained all the new things that he would be exposed to and what to watch out for with regards to him. I hope he only needs to go in for checkups, but regardless I am comfortable that he will receive excellent care from this group.

We have been using this vet for the past year and really like it. We have two Boston Terriers, a favorite breed of the vet. We feel like they are well loved and cared for when boarded there.

The best vet in the Jacksonville area. I drive 45 minutes each way to this vet because there is nobody else that even comes close to the level of service they deliver. They are honest and good people who don't try to just push the most expensive options and unnecessary things on you.
