I took my two kittens in for a their spay/neuter surgeries. My boy kitten’s surgery went well and he had no problem healing. My girl kitten’s stitches popped open and she got an infection. Stacy at the office was extremely helpful and the main person I spoke to during my girl kitten’s triage, check ups, and healing. She answered all of my questions and helped me feel at ease about the situation. Stacy provided above and beyond customer service!! I only had a brief conversation with the doctor but he was nice and did a great job with my kittens.

Banfield always gives great care for our pets. They are always very friendly when you call, and their veterinarians and staff truly care about your pets. Clean office and good waiting area.

Dr. Turkson let down my fur baby and my family. After being my fur baby's primary veterinarian for over a decade, he referred my fur baby to LeadER hospital for a questionable condition, and never made one phone call to check on him. He contacted me after I made several attempts to contact him with updates on my fur baby's condition, however as my fur baby's referring doctor to the hospital, I feel it was his responsibility to contact the hospital directly. Dr. Turkson also made false statements in his medical report, where he stated he strongly recommended an ultrasound for my fur baby, following blood work that reflected high enzymes in the liver. Dr. Turkson made no recommendations to me. I asked Dr. Turkson what can be done to determine the cause of the high level enzymes. Dr. Turkson had the audacity to tell me the ultrasound would be best to determine the cause, however its quite expensive. Cost was no issue, knowing the cause of my baby's condition was my main concern. Dr. Turkson would also use my fur baby's age, as the reason for everything. But then he told me my fur baby was in very good shape. Dr. Turkson failed my sweet baby boy and my family. I trusted him with my baby's life. I would not recommend Dr. Turkson to anyone who loves their fur baby. He never even called after my baby transitioned. He is a big disappointment!!!

The receptionist and those who answered the phone are a nightmare, rude, careless, ARROGANT. The Dr. Is outstanding with diagnosis and everything he does, that's why I go to the location. Is very stressful dealing with my two pets' circumstances and face the nightmare of those who answered the phone, year after year is the same actitude. The Dr is very good, but I hate the place! I wish to found another good Dr, in another location. And those drop-off, take 9-10 hrs to pickup your Dog!!!

I’ve been taking my pets to this location for 12 years and have had nothing but great experiences with the front desk staff , vet techs and Dr. Turkson. Unfortunately, on the last visit (4/6/21) I was left speechless by the way Nikki at front desk staff and Brian a vet tech lacked the professionalism that the Banfield staff have always displayed. Perhaps they were having a bad day, but that should not be projected unto any customer. I did contact the corporate office and filed a complaint. Issues like the one I experienced need to be addressed if Banfield wants to keep their customers. I will no longer be using this location for my pets veterinary needs all due to 2 employees at Banfield Pet Hospital (Sawgrass location)

Have had nothing but mostly great experiences with the doctors and staff at desk but recently went to a new Banfield because my dog has high anxiety and they advised appointment times weren't available and my pup could be stuck in a kennel between 2-8 hours.. this literally gave me anxiety... not even exceptions for dogs on anxiety medicine. Will return when the policy changes as this isn't in the best interest of my dog or many owners. Plantation on Pine Island's Banfield had curbside and apt was done in 40 min.

Great folks. Little busy at times but the docs do go out of their way for my little furries. I look at their faces and they are happy.

They are very commercialized and run the place like its a Walmart. You don't get that comfortable and confident feeling you get at more private vet offices. They constantly rush through their procedures and have placed incorrect information on my pets chart. And with that given the wrong dosages of medicine. We purchased the puppy plan but don't plan to renew. Also some off the staff are rude and just seem to not even want to be there.

Some of the doctors are good. Some not so good. Care is inconsistent. The doctors don’t check messages when they are not physically there. This is ridiculous! It’s hard to follow up when your dog is sick and has complications!!!!

I Paying for an insurance that I can’t take advantage of! Very unprofessional staff that don’t care about their customer or their pets well-being! I am paying for an insurance and every time I try to book an appointment they always call me back with an excuse not to see my dog! It’s almost been a year and they are still blaming COVID for everything, if your company can not adapt to situations why even bother and staying open? Your staff have no people skills, all they know how to say is sorry I can’t, I can’t , I can’t and they don’t even try to find a solution for you. $50 /monthly for my dogs insurance and they can never do a damn thing. Banfield has really gone down the crapper! I will be removing my dog from here and will be taking further actions if something happens to my dog.

They did an awesome job with Lola's teeth cleaning and some of them had to come off. She seemed normal, it was awesome feeling to know my Furr babies are taken care of!

I signed up for the wellness program in which you are locked in for at least 1 year. It’s a good value and I really like how there is an app to see your pets info and appointment dates. BUT a huge con for me is that they only offer drop off appointments. They keep your pets for the whole day with no information or estimated time of pickup.. Time I’m sure is spent in a small kennel. We dropped off our pup early in the morning and Did not receive him back until the evening after calling and complaining multiple times. The nurse told me that they don’t see pets in order. I really really wish I knew this before signing up If it wasn’t for the drop off only, my review would be much higher but this con is a really big issue for me. I wish I knew they were doing this before I signed up otherwise I would’ve went elsewhere. My sister recently got a puppy and took hers to Scarborough Animal hospital and they let you stay with your pet the whole time.

I've tried 5 vets in the area and the banfield chain is by far the best, they always take the time to explain everything and leave it to your best judgement. They're very friendly, understanding and capable of giving the best care available.

Their service is excellent. My dog almost died three years and because of their level of expertise and knowledge she survived and pulled through.

They literally saved our dog's life as she was on her death bed. The Vet that was there for that has since left but our current Vet is awesome. Dr. Jake, our current Vet, was well informed on our dog's situation from the past and stays in-tune with her in her current care. The rest of the staff if friendly and we have always had great care there for all our pets. We have only been down here for 3 years and the other 2 Vets we went to when we first arrived, we were not comfortable with.

Took my dog in for an appointment recently. I wish I could give 5 stars. Unfortunately I cannot. When I initially booked the appointment -with basically a salesperson pulling in a deal - it was with the impression my dog would only be there for a couple hours as: Due to Covid need to drop the dog off. And the Dr would come out to speak with me. But when I got there- the front desk had different girls there. And it has a hostile feel. They seem to despise the customer. But I needed my dog seen so I went ahead and left him there. The girl Monica was not very supportive or reassuring. Unfortunately that’s who I primarily had to deal with. None of them we’re welcoming. Monica although appears to be knowledgeable- but was very rude. My poor dog had to be in that hostile environment for 6 hours. And it would have been longer had I not insisted on picking him up. It was very nerve wracking not really knowing what was happening and not getting the feedback in the form of communication. I never did see the actual Vet. Maybe he wasn’t even actually there. He couldn’t even take time to come out and speak with me. Very disappointed in the way I was treated. Who knows what type of treatment my poor little 10 lb dog received. When I did get to speak to the Dr after 3 pm he spoke to me with intelligence and competency. He sounded confident and like he wanted to do the right thing. But when I arrived no Dr came out. He just called himself Dr Jay or Jake. I do have his card. Very weird experience. It’s tough enough having to deal with leaving my dog there with strangers. But the staffs behavior is inexcusable. Hopefully my dog won’t have any bad reactions to the medication. But I don’t trust them after this atrocious experience. I’m understanding that they are working under difficult times. But I’m never going back to Banfield again.

Although I would love to give a good review I just can't. Although Dr. Glowicki has been nothing but amazing to myself and my animals and has bent over backwards for us, the front office staff is just awful. They are suppose to be the face of your company but they just can not seem to do things properly or EVER communicate with the doctors as they should. There are a few decent girls that do pick up the phones sometimes but other than that they are just no help. I ALWAYS have to call and pretty much beg for my dogs prescriptions or to please give my vet the script as it will just sit in the fax for days before they even acknowledge it. I have been with this location for almost 3 years and I will be canceling my plans and not returning. Although I will miss Dr. Glowicki dearly I refuse to deal with the front office staff any longer. If she was to ever leave I would for sure follow her!

Everything seemed great here, the doctor seemed nice and I bought the wellness plan. My dog was diagnosed with an ear infection they were out of the medication for her so I went back the next day and picked it up. 5 days later she was still not responding to the medication and has been unable to walk or drink for 4 days. I called for help, and was told the doctor was in surgery and would call me once out. 4 hours later I called back for an update, the doctor was out of surgery but was not available I was told he could call back in 20 min. An hour later I called again, he was once again busy I asked if someone could just tell me what I can do. I was told to just take her to the VCA because they were too busy. I will be calling Monday when Customer Service is open to lodge a formal complaint.

Absolutely appalled at the way we were treated. This place is all about the money, unnecessary tests, in vaccines that weren't even due! The vet gave us incorrect information and sold us medicine that didn't help. Will never ever go back to this place. Beware!
