My baby always looks great when groomed here.

Had a dreadful experience today with a groomer. She mishandled my dog in front of me not knowing I was his dog mom, and then became unprofessional when I addressed it with the front desk staff. I requested my dog multiple time to take home as is and she became difficult and created a scene. The front desk staff has always been great. and they helped me resolve the issue. My dog always looks great when I take him there, but today's groomer was unprofessional, defensive, horrible with my dog, and I would never let her near my dog again. I have lost faith in their grooming staff. I have yet to hear from the owners which I requested during this incident hours ago.

I boarded my dog, Beau after surgery. Barkers was so receptive and kept Beau longer as my doctor increased my recovery time. The facility is clean. I was sent pictures of Beau with his report card. Nice touch. One picture was with Beau and Santa. Barkers has a taxi service if you live within a five mile radius. The facility is loaded when th fun things to do for pets. Highly recommend.

Worse experience I've ever had!!! First time using them and my dog was injured and I have yet to receive a phone call from any manager, with details. Front desk worker called me the day AFTER the occurrence and was able unable to provide any details on how it happened, why it happened and the extent of injuries. He said a manager would call and I’m still waiting to speak to a manager 3 days later. Upon pickup, he said that the manager was still unavailable. So, I had to leave with an injured pet without knowing what happened. My dog is my child. I would think they would understand the seriousness of just wanting to know what happened. But, obviously they only care about $$$. I know accidents occur, but at this point, it's the lack of customer service and compassion that is a problem for me. DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR PET WITH THEM!!!!

Not sure what’s going on! This place used to be amazing, the attention to a client the attention to the pet. The customer service used to be Amazing and a Delite. Today and recently it’s a joke! 20 mins to wait for your pet with one person ahead of you is a joke! Phones or no phone calls. I have been coming for 2.5 years and spend money on two dogs. Not happy at all with the lack of attention to the regular client. Not happy with the lack of service. Not happy with the cost and at a previous time, the staff was consistent. To much turn around says lots. I’m not coming back after today. This is not what Barkers per center was a year ago. Smh smh with disappointment.

One star for the horrendous parking lot in front of this place. Security guard blocks half of the lot, which remains unused, so the Dunkin Donuts lot is jam packed. This causes a million problems and gridlock. Security guard says it's the Property Manager's idea. Great idea.....not.

My pup loves heading to Barker's Pet Center for doggy daycare and boarding. He loves his howling conversations with the staff and comes home completely worn out from playing all day.

The place is awesome! Charlie, my little dog, is always treated like a king ????Employees are amazing. They are kind and friendly. They listen to your concerns or questions about your pet. That means a lot to me.

Best boarding and grooming facility we've ever experienced for our Lucho. Pool, indoor/outdoor play areas, individual ROOMS (not kennels), and a wonderful, very professional, caring staff. With an onsite owner who also happens to be very easy on the eyes!!

Wow. I can’t express my disappointment enough. After the worst cut/groom I have ever seen in my life, I emailed and asked if my dog was a challenge. He had choppy hair everywhere, looked like he wasnt cut at all, had hair in his eyes, people asked why I didn’t get him cut It was that bad. No one responded after a pretty expensive bill so I went in and calmly asked if something went awry during grooming and showed them the photos to which the staff looked appalled. They got the groomer who then came out and proceeded to gaslight me that he looked good, his eyes were clean and that’s the way his hair grows then said to me: YOU HAVE A LOT OF TIME ON YOUR HANDS! you know what’s funny? As a director at Chewy I have virtually no time on my hands but I know how pets and pet parents should be treated

The blonde girl at the desk has a terrible attitude. The dog washer was yelling at customers and rough with my small dog she said f you to me when i was leaving for saying something to her about it. Regardless of any altercation you should never speak to a customer that way.

We’ve had our 5 year old goldendoodle groomed here about 5-6 times. Unfortunately it is never a smooth experience. We pay over a $100 (+20 dollar tip, treats, toys, food, that we are happy to buy). It takes more than 5 hours each haircut and each time our pup comes back extremely uneven. I’m unsure why when we schedule they don’t suggest another day rather than leave our dog waiting to be groomed for hours. Today upon pick up all the lights were off, staff waiting to leave. We were told to be there at 5 as they close early on Saturday’s. We arrived early they insisted another 30 minutes, 5:15 turned into 5:35-5:40. Our dogs face is completely uneven, but after 5+ hours enough was enough. Staff is friendly, but unfortunately groomers don’t seem to have much experience or time to perform a efficient groovy.

This is my go-to for pet daycare and pet hotel. They are extremely professional, reliable, and always accommodating to my schedule. I have a small dog and large dog and both are well cared for and they love play time!

Grooming department even with written and verbal instructions as well a follow up call. Still manages to cut our babies wrong. Unacceptable!! 3 times now.. Find another groomer folks.. Nice people.. but poor quality and follow through.

My dog has attended the daycare for almost a year and loves it. However, a month ago I took him for dog training. He didn’t love it as much. But one month later it’s like I have a new dog. People compliment me on his behavior now. Also, now he can fly on an airplane with me or go to the beach, legally. Viva is an incredible trainer. This is the best place in South Florida for daycare or dog training, hands down!!

Took my dog in to get a hair cut. And after 4 hours they not only did not cut his hair, his nails were not cut and they misplaced his leash. I paid $40 and all they did was bathe him. My major disappointment was they had me pay before I could see the final results. I was refused a refund. Needless to say I will not return. I'd used Barkers for years but they have drastically changed, sadly, not for the best.

Barkers is a truly fantastic dog care facility and the staff and trainers are amazing. I sent my 5 month old puppy, Bandit, to Barkers for a full week of daycare training with Viva and her team and I couldn't be happier. Not only in 5 days did they make such great progress in his training, he had so much fun that when he got home at night he would just pass out and fall asleep. Every morning that I dropped him off he was excited to learn and play! The training is top notch and I can't speak highly enough of how responsive and communicative Viva is with keeping me up to date on the trainings, and training me on how to maintain the training lessons. I plan on continuing to work with Viva and Barkers for any future more in depth trainings. The facilities are really nice and the activities they plan for the dogs throughout the month are great; its the ultimate summer camp for dogs: balloon popping, lake visits, puppy ice cream, etc! They send videos and pictures of the pups playing during the activities and it looks like doggy heaven. The pictures they post online truly reflect reality. Barkers is a place for happy dogs. If you're looking for a fun, loving, and safe place to leave your dog for day care, boarding, or training, I would highly recommend Barkers.

We had our vacation in Fort Lauderdale and brought our dog with us. He is super high energy German Pointer. We didn’t want to leave him alone inside the house all day while we were exploring Fort Lauderdale and Miami, so we took him to Barkers Pet Center doggie day care. He loved it there, every evening we picked him up, he was exhausted, it’s hard to make him tired ???? And also they gave us very good training tips. Thank you Barkers Pet Center, we will be back!

5 Stars all the way from Roscoe !!!, my new 4 month old English Bulldog. When they answer the phone "Its a fun day at Barkers Pet Center" it really is. I've had dogs all my life growing up and through the years, but I never had a "puppy, puppy"- OMG...It is a BIG undertaking. I tried watching dog training videos on Youtube, and then tried doing some of the same techniques on my dog with little to no success. After a couple weeks of being really overwhelmed and anxiety kicking in at what did I get myself into. I realized if I wanted to enjoy the experience of having a puppy, and teach him right from wrong we needed professional dog training. After trying to tie my shoe laces and Roscoe trying to steal my shoes, and pull my shorts down, we finally got out of the house and drove to Barkers Pet Center and was greeted by Brandon at the front desk who deserves 5 stars as well. I told Brandon what I was going through, he showed me all the options, and was really caring and knowledgeable on what Barkers had to offer. He set me up with an appointment with the head trainer Vaiva. I chose to do the doggy day care training program which is a week long training- drop your dog off in the morning, pick up in the afternoon. This was the best option as like Brandon said- "dogs speak dog language to each other", so with that combo of dog teach dog, and having 4 professional dog trainers working with my dog daily for 5 days, at the end of the week, I was scheduled for a final session me and Roscoe. Vaiva the head trainer showed me all he learned through the week, and it was like a magic wand was waived over my puppy and he was so attentive and ready to show off what he learned, then it was my turn, Vaiva handed me the leash, showed me and told me the verbal commands which are SIT

Barkers used to be amazing, I recommended it to so many dog owners in the area. However, a few months ago they changed management, raised their prices and don’t care for the dogs like they used to. Sad but I’ll have to switch daycare after 2 years.
