VCA Pines West Animal Hospital Pembroke Pines, Florida

VCA Pines West was our established practice for our beloved dog for several years. I cannot say enough of their high standard of care. Our dog also received grooming services from Sergio there and he was so caring to her needs-as a fearful rescue dog he earned her trust and grooming sessions were no longer traumatic. Dr. Berg and Dr. Meacham provided excellent care all through the end. The vet techs and admin staff were always responsive( it's great to see people who enjoy their job. We had to say goodbye to our beautiful furbaby yesterday, and in the midst of all the sadness I found comfort through their compassion. Thank you for all the years of excellent care for our furbaby. We appreciate you all.

I took my puppy for a bath, worst bath ever her whole face was dirty, she looks the same as i brought her in, even her nails were left sharp. I told the lady. horrible service. due to this I'll cancel my monthly plan. so dissapointed. ripped off for the price paid. tottally not recomending this place.

What a professional and wonderful vet! The staff is super nice and sweet, prices are absolutely affordable and drs are always willing to take care of your furry babies. 100% recommended!

Wonderful service being our first visit! Appreciated the "Welcome Bella" sign in our exam room. Even gave markers and color page for my daughter while I filled out paperwork. Our dog was well taken care of.

Took our dog here with some stomach issues and it went great. He has some socialization issues but he loved them.

I have taken all 6 of my last pets to Dr. Berg and there is truly no one better. If you're thinking of coming here, do not hesitate. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else.

Great customer service from beginning to end. Extremely safe all covid protocols are in place.

Recently I have been dismayed by the low level of customer service being provided at the VCA Pines West in Pembroke Pines, FL. Sat 2/6 I called the facility to advise I would be picking top Maxx in 1 hour around 2:30pm. When I arrived I had to wait for over 30 minutes out in the car and my autistic child had a melt down. When I told them that this was not acceptable they said they were understaffed. Today I filled out paperwork for MAXX (Schnauzer) to be groomed and said I would pick him up at 1:50pm. I arrived and they said he would not be ready until 5pm. My autistic daughter, once again, had a melt down since we came home without dog. I enjoy and respect Dr Meacham but the day to day operations need to improve. If not, I will have to take my business elsewhere. Thank you.

Wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else. They take such great care of him and I know he’s in good hands. The staff and Dr. Meacham are absolutely great! He’s also see Dr. Ramirez a couple of times and she’s also been very helpful. My Brownie boy loves them all!

Dr. Ramirez takes care of our whole cat family! Whether it's routine or emergency. She is very caring and personable. She explains everything that is happening and why. I appreciate how in depth she will look into a situation. She will not take chances but will also not run impractical tests, etc. She really makes it about not just leaving healthy, but staying healthy, and happy! The staff is very friendly and making an appointment is very easy and they have great hours. Even when we call from out of town they are always willing to help. Their accommodations during covid-19 have been exemplary and I feel very safe in this aspect while there. (The only reason for 4 stars is an office visit is a little pricey, but definitely still comparable.)

We started with Dr. Berg when they first opened. Dr. Meacham now takes care of our dog. We love her. You will not find a nicer more caring veterinarian anywhere. We loved Dr. Berg as well. Our current dog is our fourth under their care. Could not ask for better. Been with them, likely, over 20 years.

Good Vet. Awful staff. Twice after my pets had surgery they didn't call the next day to check like they use too. Been going there for 6 years and watched the staff get worse and worse. Time to move on

So far Doctor Meacham and all the staff that have helped us have been extremely helpful and personable which goes a long way. They have methodically gone about diagnosing our pups diarrhea. Keep up the great work!

Dr Berg is the best!!

We have been going to Pines West Animal Hospital for over 15 years. Currently we have 2 cats and a golden retriever. Our vet visits are productive. My questions are answered and any testing or treatments inline with what would be expected based on symptoms (not over testing).

Dr Berg is wonderful...he knew my dog from puppy to the end, and he was there. Our Hailey was always so comfortable with him. We miss her and we are glad to see all the great reviews. Dr Berg is gifted for sure! Hope he is still there doing his thing...for the animals ????????

Wonderful care of our pets Safety towards covid 19

I would hate to go anywhere else. This curbside pick up was great today. And Dr. Berg has been our Dr. for many years now. Kind, very caring Dr. and staff.

This animal hospital is the best! Everyone is so pleasant, especially Dr. Meacham. She is an awesome doctor!

People are great however their prices have doubled since vca took over.

I had an emergency yesterday they took my baby right in ...they fixed him right up . and calmed me down ..this is us on the way home... good as new thank you VCA Pines West Animal Hospital
