Quick to get you in. Compassionate about your pet. Patient with you and your pet. The only thing I would like is for the exam to happen in front of you. They use to do this but drs have changed and now everything is done in their back room. Otherwise I am content.

My son brought Rascal, our cat, in everybody was so nice and he said rascal just kept purring when the nurses would come in the room to check him out. Lol that is not like him, especially with strangers. I had to stay home and work so when the doctor came in they FaceTime with me so I knew what exactly was going on and what our next step was.

I have been going to Dr.Nina's for about 1.5 years and absolutely love them so much! I know Terra and Zena are in the best of hands when I take them there! Dr.Torres is amazing, Amanda too and really all the staff. I love them so much that I will be keeping them as my vet even when I move to Tampa in the fall. Thank you all for what you do for my fur babies.

I have to say that I was impressed with the level of care I got this time around. I think they are improving. In the past, it would take days before someone got back to me. I felt like I spoke more to the answering machine than anything else. Lately, that has changed. I loved how the assistants of the doctor treated my dog and me. They were, so understanding of him and his anxiety level, and they did everything to Calm him down for me that of everything!!!

Had an emergency with our little boy over the weekend, so left a message at there office. They called me first thing to schedule an appoint, they got our little boy in & he was diagnosed & had him home by 3:00pm that afternoon. Have had Dr. Nina's Animal Hospital for over 2 years & have been very pleased. Dr. Lyda Torres was excellent & so are the receptionists at the Parrish office. We have referred some of our pet lovers to Dr. Nina's as they were not happy with there Veterinarian they had. They also gave them a 5 star when we spoke with them about there visit at Dr Nina's Animal Hospital in Parrish. Just so happy ,our boy is like on his way to recovery.

Dr Torres and her staff are very professional in the care of the fur babies. They usually fit our dog in, even when they are booked. Dr Torres referred our dachshund to a specialist, due to several health issues. I can recommend this Veterinarian Clinic.

The entire staff were very welcoming and friendly. They all show a genuine love of animals and especially someone's pet. The Vet Tech and the Doctor gave ample time and answered any questions and made us and our cat very comfortable. The next day I received a call directly from Dr. Torres checking in on kitty and explaining in great detail the blood work and urinalysis results, usually assigned to someone a little less busy. That was a huge point scorer with us! We are so happy to have found you after relocating from the east coast and look forward to many more years of visits.

I LOVE DR NINAS IN PARRISH! The staff is so friendly. They know who I am when I call for Beast. They take care of him everytime he’s there even though he’s a little feisty when he first gets there. They don’t push things that are unnecessary like previous vets I’ve used, they also get me in and out which is amazing!! I’m never waiting more then a few minutes to be seen.l which makes me feel like my time is valuable. All together they get 10 out of 5 stars!! Will be using them for our new puppy as well coming beginning of 2022!

I have been with Dr Nina’s for over three years and found all the employees to be professional, compassionate and go beyond the call of duty. Whether it is health care maintenance or acute care situations, I felt confident that I was getting the very best of care

Love this office. They take such good care of our 2 shihtzus. I love Amanda & all the vets & vet techs. They all have been awesome, have great communications & have adapted really well to COVID restrictions. They make it very easy to bring your pet for an office visit. We highly recommend them. Dr Nina’s has been our vet since 2015. They are awesome and so good to our girls. We have the highest confidence in the vets and techs etc. Very grateful for the care we get there. Dr Nina’s Parrish continue yes to be awesome all throughout Covid and I always felt it was a safe place to bring our girls. They treat our dogs with such love and caring. Recommend them vey highly.

Fizzy, Poodle mix, 14 yrs. old, went in for annuals and rabies shot. All went well but more expensive than Pet Clinic. Maggie, Lhasa poo mix, also 14 yrs. old, couldn't get her shots because she's a biter and they couldn't get a muzzle on her. They want me to drug her and bring her back. They also wrote her eye drop prescription wrong so I had problems getting that fixed so we could continue her eye drops Too much upselling also. Maggie needs her shots so I'll probably take her back, but will start looking for a new vet Sorry, but that was my experience. It was much better there before Dr. Nina sold out.

On my first visit the vet told me to schedule a follow up visit to get my dog neutered, totally missing the fact that he had been neutered already. On the third visit we had a heartworm test done. My dog was audibly crying and yelping out of pain during the test, even with sedation pills. They performed the test discounting the fact that my dog was not cooperating, and brought my puppy out covered in feces and blood. Then the receptionist came to me and informed that I owed the clinic $80 dollars. When I questioned about how the price went from $50 to $80, I was told that because they had to use a technician. I was also told that the vet would talk to me about other sedation options, which she failed to do. When I got home from the clinic, my dog was traumatized, and couldn't sleep without me being within a few feet of him and his nose was dripping blood. I am not satisfied with the procedures and the communication of this clinic. They did not have to perform this test at all cost, I wish they would have just brought my puppy back out and offered other sedation options and a separate appointment.

I had a very bad experience at Dr. Nina’s. I moved to the area and saw all the wonderful reviews so I was very disappointed when nearly everything went wrong. Long story short, on my first appointment I had a text message confirming it but they had no record of me. After the exam, they verbally told me the wrong dosage (double) of a dangerous medication for my dog and wrote the prescription for a different dosage. I tried contacting them to clarify and they didn’t respond after numerous calls (they later claimed the vet was on vacation/out but nobody else followed up). I followed the verbal instructions and when I got ahold of them, they wouldn’t own up to the mistake (Even though both the verbal and written prescriptions were incorrect). They did testing and found it was at toxic levels and then wanted to charge me for additional testing after adjusting the prescription (appropriately this time) to ensure it wasn’t doing any damage. I felt they should have covered the second round of testing since it wasn’t my fault they prescribed incorrectly. I asked for the office manager to consider this and they said the manager would call. They did not. In the end I transferred to River Road and they have been wonderful.

The staff at Dr Nina's office in Parrish has always been very professional and responsive to any questions or concerns that I may have concerning my sweet Sandy, a 4 year old Chihuahua. The front office and examination rooms have always been very clean. And the staff has always been up beat and loving to Sandy every time. I appreciate each and every one of you!

The staff was friendly and professional. It was, however, not the best grooming experience. My dog’s coat was choppy and uneven, not at the level of quality that I would expect from a professional groomer. I was happy with the staff & overall business end of things, but disappointed in the grooming.
