I just got my cat Henry neutered there and they did an amazing job. My boyfriends mom has been going to Dr Barr ever since before she had kids so I knew if she trusted him with her pets I could trust them with my Henry. Will definitely make my permanent vet!

I love these people! They worked me and my girl in when we didn't have an appointment. Dr. Barry is so personable and the kindest man. We are truely grateful for all of you.

Check in for your appointment, go run some errands, take a long lunch, file your taxes, then go back to the office. They'll still make you wait an hour for your scheduled appointment, but at least you will have gotten some stuff done in the meantime.

Dr Barr is the most amazing Vet! He loves every animal he meets. He has more knowledge about all the symptoms and can determine what’s best for most situations. The animals love him too. I highly recommend his practice.

While I have been in PCB this year, VetsPets is where both my dog and cat were given their updated vaccines, and my dog was treated for skin allergies during that same visit. The allergies have been under control and only needed one booster shot in the months since initial treatment. The booster was very quick and didn't even need an appointment. The last time I went was a different experience though. It was very crowded in this visit and it is near impossible to keep separation between other people and their animals. There is also no separate waiting areas for dogs and cats.(Be very aware that nervous or neurotic dogs/cats may have a difficult time here when it is busy.) I had come in to have my pup's nails trimmed, which is also a walk in procedure. I waited there for about 45 minutes (not their fault, it was just slammed) and then a vet tech, who didn't seem very happy, took my dog back with her. Within two minutes she had brought my dog back and told me that I had to have my dog sedated to trim her nails. It was so bizarre as the employees at our usual vet in Sarasota are able to do her nails, and quick if I might add. I did not want her being sedated so I went and bought some nail clippers from the pet store. It took me a little bit, but I was able to cut them without hurting her! I honestly feel like this place is a toss up. I've found that the majority of staff at VetsPets are pleasant and communicative about my pets and their care, but this tech in particular did not seem to be having the best day or get on with my dog. I've heard rumor that they are going to be getting a larger location, so fingers crossed on that one.

I had lunch with a few of the lady's it was one of the best lunches I have had. In quite some time I was educated on things I thought I already knew and I hope the lady Tina gets her wish to be able to run a rescue for all animals thank you for lunch today Tina McKenna and Hayley it was a great ????????

I was given the run around about getting my kitten an appointment when he was bleeding out of his ears due to a severe ear infection and when I showed up to have him seen, i waited in the front room for a 20 minutes, before a stranger tried to take my cat claiming that he had an appointment for a nail trim (come to find out that was for a dog)they fused him and told me to go somewhere else.when a second person came out from the back another ten minutes later

Dr barr is awesome and he is one on one with his pet patients. I wouldnt take my lulu anywhere else.

Doc Barr is the kindest and most gentle! Yes you will wait to see him, but both you and your furry kid are in great hands!!

Dr. Barr is the best veterinarian that I've ever had. And I'm taking pets to veterinarians for at least 45 years. He is humble and honest and gentle and his staff is very courteous and professional. He will never turn you away if your animal is sick. He cares more about the animals than he does about way overcharging. His prices are reasonable and won't break your pocketbook.

When you think something is wrong with your dog, you want someone who is both caring and an expert. Dr. Barr is fantastic. His office is always busy. But your pet is taken care of. His office staff are the biggest multitaskers I've ever seen. I don't know how they do it. I have complete faith in Dr. Barr and his staff.

Dr. Barr the best vet in the state of Florida. Wouldn't take my babies anywhere else. Make in appointment. He's so good everyone sees him so be expected to wait if you choose to walk- in. Either way the best, prices are so fare sometimes I feel I owe him more. Not only a great Dr. Including Pam his wife to of the nicest human beings ever. If I ever moved out of state I still bring my babies to Dr.Barr.

Dr Barr provides impeccable service. He will explain everything you need to know about your animal and answer all your questions thoroughly. He never made me feel rushed or that any question was a waste of his time. Dr Barr and his staff make you feel like we are all in it together. I watch the staff greet each animal like their own.
