I can't figure out how or why Dr. Zietlin became a vet. The next time I have an emergency i will go anywhere but here

My French bulldog was scheduled to have a CT scan with contrast as well as anesthesia to rule out a PSS (portosystemic shunt). 2 days after the procedure was completed, I was informed that my pets diagnostic CT scan was inconclusive as well as non diagnostic. This CT Scan was supposed to determine whether he needed surgical repair or not. The facility’s imaging equipment was not reliable, therefore no results were achieved, not to mention my pet was anesthetized and iodinated contrast was administered, which both carry risks. I spoke to the practice manager, as a full refund at this point is appropriate and acceptable given that I paid almost $2,000. She was unwilling to provide a full refund, as anything else would be unacceptable. Time was taken off of work, money was spent, and most importantly my pets life was in their hands. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed in the service rendered. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I am so grateful for the staff and quality of care my fur baby received during his time here. My dog unfortunately got very sick on a holiday and had to be admitted for 2 days. They knew I obviously didn’t want to withhold any medical care but that I was on a budget. The hospital did everything in their power to stay within my budget which they did, and provided my dog with the best medical care. They called with updates and sent pictures through out his 2 day stay. Thank you so much to the doctors and all the staff here.

He’s gone less than after week being released … so much much for not being set up for success with his post care

The veterinarian was really nice however the prices are extremely high($600+ for chest x-ray, $500 for blood panels/urine analysis) also we waited close to three hours. We had to choose between the blood work or the chest x-rays, and I overheard clients in the other room having to make a similar decision.

I think that this place is probably firing on all cylinders most of the time. However, we had to admit our Rottweiler 3 days before Christmas for what we came to learn was Pancreatitis. He stayed 3 nights, was given IV for hydration and IV antibiotics and was returned to us on Xmas day, where we were told to find a pharmacy on CHRISTMAS DAY to pick up an insulin prescription. We were also given prescription medication to take home. What we were not given was anything related to post treatment care like you would at any other hospital. i.e. When to test BS, how often, etc. Where and how to deliver the insulin shots. And while we were given a prescription dog food, we weren't given actual feeding guidelines of any other kind. Furthermore, the Dr did not come out and talk to us at all about him prior to checkout... some nurse or tech did. Fast Forward: Chop (that is his name) was fine for a day or two, blood sugar even dropped a good bit and he was finally eating a little. Then he took a turn for the worse again. Now he can't walk, can barely stand, he's not eating again, he's very week. I call the hosp again for guidance, since our primary vet was out of country, and they told me that I could not talk to a Dr, that we would have to bring him in... after we already spent over $4k! So our primary vet gets back in country and calls the hosp and gets to the bottom of things and sends us a few scripts for pain and infection last night, only to call us this morning to tell us that the hospital got his urine culture back and found that he has a streptococcus infection!!! So now, I have to call the pharmacy and tell them not to fill that original antibiotic prescription that primary vet gave us and fill a different one instead.... We're very tired of playing whack-a-mole. It's very clear that we were not setup for success upon picking him up to take home. We're very disappointed and my wife is a wreck thinking that these are Chop's final days.

My sweet kitty died suddenly and unexpectedly a couple of nights ago. I did not know what to do and was terrified for my other cats as it happened right after dinnertime. The staff at the hospital was amazing. Reannah was empathetic and very patient and loving with me and she went into great detail explaining what most likely happened; she went the extra mile to make sure I would get some closure and sent me some literature on what most likely happened to my sweet baby. She even called me the next day to check on me. I highly recommend them.

We drove from orlando in the middle of the night. Took our baby frenchie here since it was the only place on a weekend with a neurologist on call. All the staff including ER Dr.Ferry that night were very helpful, and caring. She stayed 2 nights where they took amazing care of her! Dr. King was her neurologist & was nothing but informative, reassuring & sweet to our baby girl. She had her MRI and was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Degeneration. Luckily she is walking slowly, learning to find her balance in her back legs. Follow up in 2 weeks and I have no problem driving 2 hours and a half to see them again. Thank you to everyone who assisted us from the very beginning to the very end. ???????? Hoping for a speedy recovery!

Angela is an amazing! She is very knowledgeable and treated my dog Toby sooo good. The service at the hospital was great - fast and reliable. And thanks to Angela everything went very well! Will def recommend this place and her especially.

Thank you to Dr. Ferry and Alana, and other staff members who took care of my sweet Astro in the very early morning hours yesterday. I am also a veterinary professional, and I have never been treated so well. My sweet boy passed away yesterday, after almost 48 full hours of being in oxygen at my clinic. Thank you again for your compassion during the darkest times.

A couple of months ago we had to take our family dog to the emergency older golden retriever 14!!! she wasn't doing to well. Me and my mom were super upset 2 vet techs came out to help us carry super caring and helpful soon as we got there we got immediate help vet tech Angie was super helpful and caring since we were both in tears. Doctor was great came to see us very quick. so grateful for everyone that helped us out!

Made us wait over an hour and a half for euthanasia of our ailing cat. This is not the first pet I’ve had to have euthanized but this is the worst experience I’ve ever had attempting to revive this service. We had to leave because it took absurdly too long. Once we were in an exam room after being in the waiting room for over an hour, a random person walked right into the exam room off the street through an apparently unlocked door marked “must remain locked at all times,” and we were treated very rudely by her while trying to grieve our dying pet. No privacy and no special care for euthanized pets. Look elsewhere for that service, we left and called an at home euthanasia vet service. I will never use this place again for any vet service because of the impersonal and vet-mill atmosphere.

Had serious concerns when my fur baby threw up multiple times in just a few hours. Incredible relief when determined only a virus. Nothing compares to getting professional diagnosis and treatment.

I have been bringing my pets here for years and they have always provided excellent service and their staff is very professional and knowledgeable. When my American Bull dog passed away they were so sympathetic and helped me so much during those difficult moments. The staff there actually acts like they care....

This is the place to go for fast and friendly pet services. The staff is great and knowledgeable, especially Angela. She is awesome and always goes above and beyond to help me with my pets or their needs. Don't know what I would do without her!

As a new client, I had such an amazing experience at this veterinary hospital. All of the staff was professional and so caring! The Doctor and staff who saw my bullies were so kind and compassionate and really explained their conditions after taking them in for an appointment. I had a pleasant experience at VSH PBG after my puppy got sick while on vacation . I was treated with respect by the ICU Nurse Angie and she explained everything to me like a friend not just a number. The Drs and staff are very helpful and informative. Definitely would recommend for any emergency after hours care.

Everyone at VSH PBG specialty hospital was amazing. Angela was by our 5 month old dog's side keeping him alive on his most critical night. She consistently updated us on his status, answering all of questions without judgment. All of the doctors and staff were amazing our boy wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them. They were fast, super friendly and caring.

Not only did they take great care of my animal but they also took great care of me! Angie was so compassionate and caring and treated my baby like her own. Kudos to Angie and the entire team!

Great staff, very professional. I did not have to wait long for my dog to be seen. I definitely recommend this hospital for any emergency you have with your fur baby. They take the absolute best care and are up front on any tests or examination they have to perform.

This hospital has always been very fast and caring with my babies during an emergency. The overnight tech Angie always has sent me pictures of my dogs during their stay and ensured me that they were in good hands by keeping me updated through the nights there. Very knowledgeable staff!!
