Not sure if this was a Nurse or a doctor but I parked in a spot that had no signs stating not to park. Well it happened to be right in front of this person's car so she couldn't leave. She yelled at me that she couldn't go to lunch because I was parked there. I hosestly read all the signs in the parking lot (there are a lot of signs) Its easy to make a mistake but this women was so upset and yelled right in my face. I explained that I had no intentions to block her vehicle. It was just a mistake. Well, she threatened me to tow my car blah blah blah.. I guess she was really hungry. But mistakes happened. Now I wont make the mistake to take my dog to thia clinic if their care staff is as unprofessional as this lady. Poor animals. No way.

We have used Fondren Pet Care for 13 years and I honestly wish we switched sooner. Instead of answering our questions and helping us understand issues with our dog, Dr. Fondren has repeatedly been unprofessional and has at yelled me and my mother on multiple separate occasions. Her attitude towards my dog, me, and my family has consistently been patronizing and disrespectful. Have nothing good to say about her or her business.

Dr. Fondren, Stephanie, and Niza and ALL of the techs are wonderful. They treat my pets like family and all animals in the family see them. They are so loving and take the time to get to know my dog and take good care of her. I refer all of my friends and family to Fondren pet care. They truly love animals and know how to make them feel comfortable and healthy. Dr. Fondren is very fair and treats my dog with the best care. Stephanie and Niza have always been so accommodating and helpful with appointments, prescriptions, and loving my mix breed rescue girl. Dr. Fondren is very detailed and doesn’t miss anything. I have been using Dr. Fondren for my beloved pets for 14 years now. I completely trust her opinion and judgement to help me make decisions regarding my dog and cat’s health and wellbeing, even when it is a hard decision. She is always advocating for the animals and will let you know if you need to change your protocol for their best interest. The staff at FPCC is always helpful, friendly, and know what they are talking about. Dr. Fondren does a great job of making sure that her team is well educated and provides excellent customer service. If you are looking for a veterinary clinic that is going to go above and beyond for your animals, this is the place to go.

Dr. Fondren and the staff at Fondren Pet Care Center are absolutely wonderful! They have provided top-notch care to my family pets for 15+ years. I’m thankful to have met this wonderful, smart group of people - especially Dr. Fondren. She’s treated me and my senior dog like family from the very beginning.

When we moved here from Connecticut almost two years ago, we worried about finding a vet we liked as much as our old one. Dr. Fondren and her staff are above and beyond what we could have imagined. Dr. Fondren takes care of all our pets - a highly trained lab who is a service dog, and our two (used to be three) cats, and even our mother-in-law's cat when she was down from New Hampshire for a visit. She still calls to check on that cat. When we had to put down our oldest cat who had been with us for 14 years, she and her staff couldn't have been more loving and compassionate. I am so grateful to this clinic and staff.

My two dogs have been treated by Dr, Mary Fondren for the past years. Never before have I encountered a more thorough diagnostician and provider of care for my beloved dogs, one of whom suffers from diabetes and frequent pancreatitis. Her compassion and dedication extends far beyond what might be expected. Last week, in order to keep my pet out of the hospital, she treated her daily, and came in even on her day off! I appreciate her honesty, integrity and genuine concern for my dogs and her wonderful straightforward approach to working with me, the owner. She has a fantastic staff! It is clear how much they love the animals and their work. They are responsive to questions and offer direction and guidance when needed. It is without hesitation and reservation that I recommend Dr Mary Fondren at Fondren Pet Care Center. I only wish they treated humans... Michelle Deegan

Have been with Fondren for a while. The attitude and respect Dr. Fondren has shown my family over the years has deteriorated was incredibly unprofessional. Recently, she patronized and scolded my mother. This was the last straw in dealing with her flawed, primitive, and amateurish behavior. Two stars because the vet assistants and techs are sweet and never had a problem with the actual services Dr. Fondren provides. but her behavior is inexcusable. I hope you learn to treat your clients with respect.

I have always brought my animals to Fondren Pet Care. The first time I met Dr Fondren she got on the floor with my Labrador and I knew we were at the right clinic. The staff is always so caring and nice!

Friendly, professional veterinarian care. Staff is friendly and welcoming, love animals and make the experience nice and comfortable. Our dogs are not scared or anxious when they go. After two other vets, I now have what I need in a vet.

I have to start off by saying I'm as anxious as my poor rescue kitty is. That being said, when I first adopted my cat, I was determined to find the perfect vet for him since he is my first real animal as an adult. My cat has had some challenges throughout the past year and a half and each step of the way Dr. Fondren has no only told me the facts as they are (sometimes with brutal honesty - but that's a good thing), but also recommended some wonderful partners to step in to be part of my pet's care. She keeps cost in mind, and is a realist when it comes to my pet's care. My cat is extremely anxious, and I've watched her take extra care to ensure my little boy isn't scared or stressed out of his mind. Recently, my cat had a urinary blockage which wasn't resolved the first time, and she recognized that using multiple pills daily wouldn't help the anxiety that caused it in the first place. She tailored his care to fit his needs, and called me personally to explain her approach to me. While I was nervous about the results and wanted to just get to the point, she spent time building rapport with me (we discovered we had gone to the same vacation spot at similar times). This small act of kindness really eased my mind, and I feel this seemingly small interaction speaks volumes for Dr. Fondren's character. In addition, her staff is phenomenal. I can tell the staff truly loves what they do everyday. They answer all of my million questions with patience and courtesy, and the vet techs even call to follow up and make sure you're handling the care instructions well and to check on your pet's wellbeing. My husband joked that our cat has better health care than he does, and honestly he's right. I highly recommend Dr. Fondren and her staff, you can trust them all with your fur baby!

It was our first visit and we were very happy. Dr. Fondren was very professional and knowledge. She took her time, explained things thoroughly and addressed all our questions. She was also very personable. We felt she cared about our dog. Her assistant Corey is amazing.

Dr. Mary is the best vet around. A part of our extended family. Provides great and only necessary care. Not over the top.
