This place is terrible! Its a total scam. My dogs have been getting the same meds for 5 years and every 6 months this guy bills me to verify they still need there meds. So 5 years now every 6 months i have to make and apt to get my dogs meds when they been on the same meds for 5 years, its a rip off do not waste you time

Dr. Gerard and his techs/staff are so welcoming. They were so wonderful with my nervous dog Maggie. After her exam Dr. Gerard took time to spend with us and pet and praise Maggie for being such a good girl. Thank you Jupiter Animal Hospital!

I flew in from New York to see family with my service dog. All I had asked for was a check up, they try to send me to a specialist for medicine my dog has been taking for ever. A specialist? Cost me over $600 because i left my dogs meds in NY I had no choice so i had to go to his referral and my dog needs his meds. There is no reason why they couldn't just give me and apt and check him out and prescribe but no when i come to see my family he charges me over $100 just to send me somewhere else and does nothing, then i have no choice so i go were he tells me that was $600 so now $700 I spend for medicine my vet in NY even sent the script to! Stay away from this place they will shake you down.

I love going to Jupiter Animal Hospital. Theresa ALWAYS makes you feel so welcome. The techs are so friendly both to humans and dogs. Dr. GERARD takes his time you never feel rushed.

I take my animals here and they’ve always not only provided medical care but plenty of love. It’s obvious everyone there genuinely loves animals and does their best to provide the best care. Dr Gerard and Dr Morgan are the best!

My visit with my little puppy was the most amazing visit they took such good care of him got his problem resolved and it was so reasonable. they were a wonderful backup since my vet was not available that particular day and they took my little guy right in. Thank you ❤️

I’ve been taking my dogs, Grizzly and Bear, to Dr. Gerard for years! What I like is that they treat my babies with love. They always give my dogs the kind of love that I give them. Bear has atopic dermatitis. Dr. Gerard has given Bear his life back! I’m in healthcare and I appreciate when the doctor speaks to me at my level. He is always good at explaining things on a lower and upper level of understanding. Very thorough!! Highly recommend for your fur-baby <3

We have been taking our 14 year old Brussel's Griffon to Dr. Gerard and Dr. Morgan since she was a puppy. They have always treated her and us with such warmth and compassion. They take their time, explain everything, are very thorough and all of the staff are just a pleasure. Teresa at the front desk is so welcoming and they truly treat you and your pets like family. We are so grateful for the entire staff!

Just moved to the area and was very pleased with getting in the day after calling for my senior dog. Dr. Gerard was one of the best vets I've been to.

Dr Gerard is knowledgeable, nice and easy going. My kitty has food allergy and was scratching herself. He explained my options and gave recommendations. I liked that he suggested allergy testing which is the right way to go whereas many vets just give pets steroid injections which have many side effects and only suppress symptoms without curing allergy itself. He also recommended to put her on a limited ingredient diet with novelty protein and omega 3 supplementation. Prices are very reasonable.

I adopted a dog from Afghanistan last week. We took her to get spayed yesterday at Jupiter Animal Hospital and Dr. Gerard surprised us by spaying her for free! He wanted to contribute to her health and help whatever way he could since she has already been through so much! He and his staff provided such great care for her. We appreciate their generosity and superb services very much.

Great pedicure for my Baileys

They are very kind and caring. They take good care of our animals and are extremely compassionate. My little doggie passed away suddenly years ago and after doing all they could to try to save her, she didn't make it, Dr. Gerard carried her little body to my car for me himself and was so kind. They are more expensive than some of the other vets, but I also feel like they're providing a better quality of care.

I simply can not say enough good things about Dr. Morgan and the staff at Jupiter Animal Hospital! We had been to 3 local vets for our bulldog before we were introduced to Dr. Morgan. We love her and her team not just because she has been able to resolve our dog's health issues thus far, but for SO much more than that. It's the care they give not only to the pup, but to us obsessive dog moms too. ;-) Dr. Morgan took the time to listen to our story, she showed compassion, addressed every concern, and she thoroughly explained everything I needed to understand. The staff is absolutely delightful, they know you & your furbaby by name. They ALWAYS respond to my phone calls - the doctor calls me back personally to explain. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and patient. They have been able to see me on same day appointments and I have NEVER felt rushed or rejected by them. I am so thankful for Dr. Morgan and the staff at JAH !!!

Very friendly great with the animals

Had a great first experience with Dr. Morgan and her team this morning. Dr. Morgan was very knowledgeable and made it easy to ask questions. Both team members that assisted her were very kind and loving towards my dog. Overall very happy with the experience and happy to have found a new vet for my pets.

I recently moved to the area and had not yet established a new vet for my dog. I called Jupiter Animal Hospital when my dog, Mac began having some blood in his urine. Obviously very concerned for him, I was grateful when they worked me in for a last minute appointment at the end of the day, especially since I had not yet been a client of theirs. I found all of the staff to be attentive, professional, and kind. I was impressed with Dr Gerard’s knowledge and care for my dog. I will definitely bring my pets here in the future. Such a great doc, he is very kind, and patient, and attentive to the pet and the humans needs! The staff of women are pleasant and sweet! Always helpful and comforting! Couldn’t ask for more☺️ And they’ve gone above and beyond, fitting us in during their busy day, which shows the care and loyalty in their hearts!

Dr Gerard from Jupiter Animal Hospital really disappointed my family. We boarded our cat Rocky there for the weekend of September 25 - September 28 2020. Rocky is a diabetic cat. Dr Gerard knew this. He also performed a Glucose Curve on Rocky on Friday September 25, 2020. Over the weekend, Rocky became very ill, while under the care of Jupiter Animal Hospital. Dr Gerard was blithely unaware, and quite frankly didn't care. On the morning of Monday 28 September we got our little furry friend back but he was so horribly ill. Apparently he was vomiting all night long at Dr Gerard's Jupiter Animal Hospital, but he was not attended to. Within hours of getting Rocky back home, we rushed him off to Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH). They were shocked at the neglect Rocky had experienced. As it turns out, Rocky presented with Diabetic Ketoacidosis - a life-threatening condition. He was hospitalized at VSH for 4 nights, with thousands of dollars in bills. Dr Gerard's words over the phone were, 'I stand behind my staff' . An absolute piggish comment. Think twice before boarding your animals at this vet. You will not receive the care for them that they deserve. If you love your fur babies then take them to VSH or Harmony Animal Clinic, or Furry Friends. Do not, I repeat, Do not take them to this place.

Had to put my 15 year old boxer down...they were as professional as can be. Was a hard day and they were super supportive. Cannot thank them enough.

My wife and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr.Gerard and Dr.Morgan are fantastic!

It is with a heavy heart that I am compelled to write this review to stop Dr Gerard doing to your animal what was done to my animal. They say that doing nothing is just as bad as doing harm, and sadly that's what happened when I boarded my pet cat Rocky at Jupiter Animal Hospital. Rocky, whom Dr Gerard routinely treated for diabetes (insulin, dosage, glucose curves, boarding et al) was tested on Friday 25 September 2020 for a standard Glucose Curve. Rocky was then boarded at Jupiter Animal Hospital for that weekend. Sadly, he was neglected while under Dr Gerard's care over the weekend because he was sick and Dr Gerard didn't attend to him. He became gravely ill (stressed, vomiting, no appetite, and unable to be administered insulin), and by the time I collected him on Monday morning 28 September 2020, the cat was at death's door with impending Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Dr Gerard, was not informed by his staff to rush to his practice because Rocky was presenting with life-threatening complications. Incidentally Dr Gerard didn't even know that Rocky was so sick. After receiving Rocky back home, I contacted Dr Gerard's office to ask why my cat was so deathly ill. His staff nonchalantly spilled the beans - that's how I found out. I rushed Rocky to VSH within 2 hours where he was treated for 4 nights under emergency room care. My dear cat's life was saved by VSH hospital. The veterinarians and medical staff at VSH in Palm Beach Gardens were in absolute shock at the level of neglect by Dr Gerard and Jupiter Animal Hospital. The bill from VSH amounted to thousands of dollars, but of course Dr Gerard rejected paying for that too, and tried to deflect blame onto me (a responsible pet parent who runs to vets whenever anything is out-of-the-ordinary) the hapless pet owner for his total and complete ineptitude. In my estimation, Dr Gerard is not only an incompetent vet, he has behaved as a lowly person whose smugness got in the way of doing the right thing. CAUTION: DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR ANIMAL'S CARE TO THIS VET. THESE PICTURES SHOW WHAT MAY HAPPEN TO YOUR BELOVED PET IF YOU BOARD WITH DR GERARD AND JUPITER ANIMAL HOSPITAL.

I would never trust another group of people with my animals. They are beyond amazing every time I’ve seen them! Highly recommend!
