What a thorough and helpful AAHA accredited animal hospital. We were so happy to find this place and that they could help us. Dr Burke and Sheila were wonderful with my cat. They went way beyond service of care with our 16 year old. Besides the added touches of helping us when my pet carrier broke, cleaning tartar off her teeth they took time to explain what was going on so I could understand and what to look out for in the future. The facility is very clean and looked after. I felt like my cat was in very capable hands. We were really happy to find this place and we drove 30 miles to get here.

I'm so grateful for the help we received from Shadow Lakes Animal Hospital. Our dog was having an allergic reaction and was covered in hives. Within an hour of calling to make an appointment, we'd already seen Dr. Cooper and received medication. Thank you!

My first visit here was for my dogs annual shots/blood work. I don’t think any animal likes having these done but my dog was still happy and calm at the end. I took him in before the scheduled visit so he could get used to the office. The staff even walked us around the back and let us greet everyone. The vet was very knowledgeable and answered all million of my questions in a way that was easy to understand. When recommending food, supplements, etc. he gave honest breakdowns of quality and price so I could decide what made sense for me. The staff had a great attitude and never made me feel rushed. This is by far the best office that I’ve been to.

Dr. Beazley (hope I spelled his name right) and staff are very friendly and understanding. I trust them with my pets.

I love this place! Convenient location. Lots if trees n leaves to walk my dogs before going in. Everybody there knows me and my dogs by name & greet us warmly. Never a long wait. The doctors are caring & concerned and converse with me instead of talking at me. They keep me informed and on track in every way. Their love of animals is obvious. I very highly recommend!

Every single person working there has gone above and beyond to take exceptionally wonderful care of my dog. They all have extreme compassion and genuine care for animals. Dr. Beazlie is spectacular and is so patient and kind, answering and explaining every question i have ever had regarding my dog’s health and well being. The office is wonderful, clean, and everyone there has been exceedingly caring for me and my dog. This is the greatest vet’s office i have EVER been to. I am so incredibly grateful for them. I trust them 100%. Thanks so super much to Dr. Cooper, Dr Beazlie, and the entire staff there. You are all the BEST! :)

My husband ,Sadie (12 yr old lab) Foxy (9 yr papillon) and I spend the winter season in Ormond Beach. This year we figured it would be the last winter Sadie would enjoy the warm weather , walking on the beach and chasing waves , since her health had gradually been deteriorating . On the morning of February 19, the dreaded day, arrived when Sadie whose tail constantly wagged and loved eating food could do neither. Not having a veterinarian in the area , we got numbers of several requesting an appointment .When we described the symptoms via his office staff to Dr. Cooper’s , his concerned response was to bring her in immediately. When we arrived to the office and checked in , the caring staff came to the car to help carry her in to an examination room . They had already set a pallet was on the floor for her to be comfortable and where we could sit to comfort her. Everyone, from the front office staff , the vet technicians , nurses and Dr.Cooper were very compassionate and gentle with Sadie. Her passing was without pain . She was handled with much respect and dignity. As we cried , they consoled us and some cried right along with as they helped us with the loss of our fur baby. We will be eternally grateful for their many acts of kindness , empathy and helping us through this heartbreaking experience. It is without reservation, I give the highest recommendation to Shadow Lake Animal Hospital. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We appreciate all you did to help Sadie and us.

Shadow lake was able to get our cat in the same day and the were kind compassionate to our cats needs as well as keeping affordablility in mind.

I can’t say enough about the quality of care my little dog Bandit has received by Dr. Cooper and his staff. They have all “exceeded my expectations” for eight years. His team has created a bond of friendship, compassion and care for my little dog Bandit that makes me feel comfortable and confident. Dr. Cooper’s professional manner and extensive background puts me at ease because I know he will provide his best care to insure my pet’s health and well being. Shadow lake is far and above the best vet hospital in Volusia County.

I have been taking my Scottish Terriers to Shadow Lakes and Dr. Cooper for over 5 years. The front of the house staff is easy to reach, always pleasant & professional and they understand when you have urgent/emergency needs and will make sure your pets get seen fast; usually that same day. Dr. Cooper is an incredible Vet with a knowledge base that second to none and is very reassuring. His new associate, Dr. Beasley, is an excellent addition to the staff, offering greater coverage throughout the week. I have been to other vets in the Ormond Beach area and none have the total package of service, care and value that Shadow Lakes has.

DR. COOPER is an intelligent,,intuitive, compassionate Veterinarian. He ..along with his ENTIRE TEAM go above and beyond to make sure your dogs needs are met. Dr.Cooper SAVED my (chihuahua ) Tiara’s life not only once but twice! SHADOW LAKE is the place to go if you want someone who is: 1) amazingly observant 2) right on the mark when MINUTES COUNT! 3)capabilities that are outstanding Dr.Cooper has an incredible, innate ability to delve right in and make a correct diagnosis. My baby isn’t out of the woods yet but I feel certain that Dr Cooper and his staff will do anything Possible to make sure her outcome is the best. If you want your fur baby to have the best chance for Survival or just an inoculation, Please go to Shadow-lake hospital ,they get it right and they truly relate to the love you have for your “Baby”. After looking for better Veterinary care for my aging cat and long time buddy I did some research and chose Shadow Lake Animal Hospital. It was everything I hoped it would be. Every aspect of the experience was perfect. The Staff was very helpful, informative, listened well, and carefully explained everything thoroughly. Even Dr. Cooper who was very busy still took the time to to speak to me about the treatments my cat needed and the expected outcome on both visits. The professionalism and concern for the animals in their care is outstanding. Through it all my cat LittleBit even appeared to be less stressed out than I expected she would be. She quickly recovered after her treatments and has been doing great ever since.
