The Doctor did not seem too caring and was very short. The vet technician was very dry. I did not like the environment nor the staff. I found a better place that was more concerning and was very honest with me about my sick partial paralyzed kitten. I will Not return to this hospital....

Not happy with my recent visit here. Dr. Niloo did not offer any solution to my dogs issues. Had to go somewhere else.

Everyone there is very knowledgeable and really compassionate with what they do. Felix and Khaleesi loves everyone there and I feel comfortable knowing that they both are in good hands every time we visit. It is a little pricey but worth it for the type of service you get. Thank you for being so caring and considerate for both my babies.

Best Vet we’ve ever been to!!! Our sweet Brutus and Minnie has an allergic reaction that escalated to a yeast growth and bacterial skin infection from the gruesome itching and licking and they were able to fit us in New Year’s Eve, recommend the correct testing to confirm the diagnosis and get our pups feeling better before the new year! I appreciate that they didn’t put our pups through excessive une essay testing to rack up a bill how other vets have done in the past. They don’t just care about the pets but the owners that love them and don’t have unlimited time and funds for guessing games. Thank you guys so much for helping our babies!

This is the best vet’s office!!! They care about your furry friends! I’ve taken my pup there for three years now and from my very first visit, I have loved every bit of my time with Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital. My pup is timid, but the docs make us both feel betsy secure with them. Instead of make my pup be put up on the metal slab seen in most vets office. They come down to his level. They speak to me through him, because he’s the patient. They take the time to hear your concerns to make sure they can really narrow down what’s happening with your beloved family member. I never feel bulldozed or that my concerns aren’t heard, and I can tell they truly care about my fur baby. Everyone on the staff is so fantastic!! I highly highly highly recommend taking your fur baby here, for quality and friendly care.

We’ve been taking our animals to this vet for 10+ years, dogs and cats. Never had a negative experience. They love your animal just as much as you do. The staff, veterinarians, and vet techs are always kind and polite. We also board our dog there. She’s a nervous nelly and they do such a great job at keeping her comfortable. We had to put one of our cats to sleep and they understood how hard and painful it was for us. They made a devastating moment a little bit easier with their kindness. They even sent us a condolence card. I highly recommend.

Everyone from the receptionist, to the vet-techs, to the veterinarian were very personable, polite, and professional. They tended to my two small dogs very quickly. Office is super clean and quite posh i would say!

Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital came to my rescue once again. When my senior cat was having some issues, Karen fit me in that same day. My usual vet is on leave but Dr. Yesenia Fernandez, a relief vet who was on duty that day, was wonderful to work with. She examined my pet and suggested alternative medication. Her manner was compassionate and caring during the exam as was her phone call with lab results later on. I wish she was a permanent vet at this office, although I’ve always been please with all the doctors there.

We really appreciate everything Dr. Rik has done for all our cats. He never gives up on them and is always willing to try everything. Easily the best vet we have seen.

Posting again since my original review was deleted.. If I could give negative stars I would. Dr. Nillo is the WORST vet. She almost killed our dog and then had no answer to any of our questions. We saw another vet the next day who said that she had been given too much medication. Do NOT trust this vet.

Been going here for the past year and have had good experiences except for my last few visits. I saw two new doctors and am not thrilled about either one. On Monday I saw a doctor for my cat not eating and he sent home medications and did blood work. Then yesterday I saw a different doctor who I was told she was the manager doctor. She was very rude and did not help my cat. I called today to speak with her but I was told she was busy so I was placed on hold then eventually told to go to the emergency clinic. Now I need to pay for another vet visit at another clinic because doctors Prim and niloofar yeganeh did not address my concerns. I understand the doctors are busy but a few minutes to talk to a concerned pet owner is important when I have an emergency.

By far my best veterinary experience in waterford lakes.

Great covid procedures and awesome customer service. Doctor was very friendly and forthright. The doctor was VERY thorough. As my dog is nearing 8 years old, the doctor checked my dog's spine and legs for any clicking or pain. I have never seen that before. I felt they really took care of my pet. My pet was happy too! :-)

My 12 year old dog had a tumor that had been bleeding and needed an emergency surgery. It turned out to be cancer but the amazing doctors at Waterford lakes animal hospital helped her recover. Dr. Rick removed the entire growth and got everything out. Since then shes feeling a lot better and just got her stitches out today. Dr. Rick was so helpful during this time thank you for being patient with me. I am glad my dog is in good hands. We are both very happy with this hospital.

I have a senior GSD he has had allergies and sensitivities his entire life, that require allergy shots. We have lived all over the country and seen many veterinarians. Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital is hands down the best we have ever been to. They are welcoming and professional from my initial phone call to walking us out of our appointment. The approach of not forcing the animal into anything, giving him respect and time to get comfortable with new people and the exam, was a breath of fresh air. They want your pet to have a positive experience and be excited to come back! I can not speak highly enough about our experience or the confidence I have in the level of care you will receive if you choose this office for your pet.

My boi Jack the Morkie, been here for years. He may hate the other dogs, but ik he's in safe hands.

I called to have my pet be seen on a Saturday because I had a concern and they fitted my dog right in and took very well care of her. I so much appreciated their care.

Good experience and new vet at the office who was professional and knowledgeable with clear instructions. Feeling better now that I can go inside with my dog. The masks are still ridiculous!!!

My 2 German shepherds boarded over the past week. When i picked them up they looked well taken care of and very happy. I know they love staying with WLAH. They are actually excited whenever we go there. They had a bath before i got them and they smelled great. When we got home they were full of energy. I've never had reports of issues whenever I've boarded them there. I highly recommend WLAH.

Great service and staff! I’ve been taking my fur babies here for almost 3 years now and it’s always been a great experience. My one concern is going here is rather expensive. To the point where I may reconsider my loyalty to this animal hospital. It feels like there is little concern for the financial impacts on clients. For instance, I am usually recommended the most expensive procedures / medications and I am the one who needs to inquire cheaper options and always ask that the vet call me before making any decisions about follow-up lab tests, etc. I wish there was more consideration for the financial impact on clients as it relates to the medical procedures and conditions of each situation. Additionally, I wish there was a stronger focus on preventative treatment for my pets rather than it being more reactive. My puppy has terrible skin allergies and every time I go here there are different procedures and treatment recommendations by one of the vets and I just wish there was (1) consistently in treatment and (2) consideration of cost to the client as it relates to the benefits / cons of each treatment option. For instance, in my situation, it feels like the best coarse of action is to perscribe medicated shampoo for my dog who has skin allergies and yet this has never been suggested or implied as an option, and I continue to come to the vet almost every 6 months for severe rash / skin and ear outbreaks over the last several years. My last visit ended up costing over $400 for antibiotics and antifungal medications on top of expensive comprehensive exam fees, on top of other lab tests. This leads me to feel as if this animal hospital is more focused on profit instead of caring for the pets and clients.

Dr. Rik and his staff are wonderful. My dogs are treated so well here. We’re glad we chose this hospital.

Our dog always has a good experience at WLAH. We use their boarding services and the vet services. It's a peace of mind to know they have his history if something were to happen while being boarded. We lived locally and have moved nearly an hour away and still use them.
