My shih tzu is very skittish and scared of strangers, the veterinarian was friendly and kind with her. So helpful and gave me all the information I needed to treat my dogs ear infection.

Very Highly Price ..very expensive place.

Very pleased with everything from making the emergency appointment to the actual care and service provided. The staff that treated our dog were excellent and took the time to answer all of our questions. After treatment, our Bella was back to her old self within a day.

This was my first time using the animal hospital. It was a pleasure to us it the staff was remarkable and well trained.

Not sure if they're understaffed, confused between vets, or trying to get more money from people. But lately the service here for getting routine medicine for my geriatric dog is pretty horrific on multiple levels from: having to call them to remind them of their refill instructions after they declined it in the website, the vet not really doing much of an exam, or explaining their own notes that they didn't realize we're in their medical logs. Not to mention the charged me a "sick dog visit" instead of a normal visit for a check-up that didn't do anything more than a regular checkup. And no, they did not expedite my appointment because their schedule was pretty open. Giving them one more chance to redeem themselves in my next visit, otherwise this rating is going to a 1. They're turning into a fast food joint: Get as many in and out as possible.

The Vet spent less then 5 mins with me and sent the Tech in with an estimate of ~$400 that i should only do portion of that estimate. The tech came in and asked me to do all. I requested to talk to the DVM because it was not what she explained to me. The tech said she was busy and cannot talk to me. I had to wait. I waited for another 15 mins in that room. Charged me $50 for re-visit trip from the 2nd time i was there with the SAME symptoms for my dog had. Horrible DVM. Did not even check my dog temperature until i asked. I got the bill stating i “declined” services! I cannot wait because i was there for 1 hr and 15 minutes. called me back and offered the refill and explained that they had “emergency”. Yet the charge was on my bill but she had to deal with emergency cases. I would not recommend any more of my friends or any one i know to check on here again. I collected my own dog urine because they could not. What a service with all the charges!! I had been to this hospital for 2 yrs. the quality is not there anymore. Looking for a new vet. I recommend so many people there. We are all looking for another Vet.

I love this office. Everyone from the staff to the doctors. My dog loves going there because she gets so much love. Thank you to all of you for the great care. Special shout out to Dr. Basso who never rush us out the door and is always looking out for my fur baby.

The employees here truly care and are always helpful and friendly. Every time I have had an emergent issue with my dog they find time to fit him in and make sure he is taken care of. He is not even afraid of the vet office, which I think says a lot. I wish human doctors were like this!

My previous cat was a patient at UAH. She was always healthy and only needed normal care. My newer kitten, Fiona, became a patient at just a few months old due to an illness and almost passed away. They had her healthy in just 2 weeks. Doctors and staff always take their time with her, especially since the first time was an emergency visit. They explain everything. I even got follow-up calls until she was healthy again. She’s almost a year old and is very healthy. She gets so spoiled while she’s there that she doesn’t want to leave. You won’t find a better animal hospital than UAH.

For the last 3 or so years I have been seeing Dr. Privette and the staff at University Animal Hospital for my Border Collie and my newly adopted cat. Every time I go, the experience is easy on my animals, and we’re treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. By far the only doctor I trust with my animals. Even when I graduate UCF, I’ll be sure to keep see the amazing staff University Animal Hospital.

Dr. Basso is the most amazing Vet that my dog Onyx could have ever meet. Dr. Basso took care of our office dog Prego until he passed away last year and she went above and beyond for Prego. Now we have our new rescued office dog Onyx that has stole all our hearts. I highly recommend Dr. Basso to everyone she has a heart of GOLD. Our Onyx is in great hands see you soon again.

Dr Privette provides great care for my fur babies and spends time to address any concern and explains what needs to be done. His staff is helpful and kind. He genuinely cares about the animals and mine have no anxiety going there!

We needed help when our regular vet was closed on a day when our precious shorkie required urgent attention. We called University Animal Hospital in a panic and they were able to get us in immediately. They treated him (and us) with compassion and were genuinely concerned with his health. Thanks to the expertise of Dr. Basso our little guy was able to make a full recovery. We are forever grateful!

Staff and Vet are extremely nice and very professional. They were able to see our dog last minute and treated her as if she was their own. I highly recommend University Animal Hospital.

We just moved to town and had our first visit to get established with UAH. They were wonderful all the way around. They took their time with my pets and answered all of my questions. They gave options and were not pushy with selling products etc. Their office was clean and not super crowded. The front office staff was quick and helpful. Excited to have found our new vet!

I've never been at a veterinarian office that works as hard as the people in this building. I'm not sure how they do it. I wish others would show more compassion, more empathy and respect for these hard working human beings. If your pet has an emergency, they bend over backwards to fit you in and take care of whatever is going on. Not many places can or will do that. We have been taking our pets to University Animal Hospital for almost fourteen years now. My husband and I trust them and feel they give us honest answers, advice and trustworthy solutions to help our pets live long and happy lives. Like many others, to us they are not pets, they are our furry Children. All the veterinarians and all the staff here care for animals and will do what is best for them. They are always going to do right by the animal and that is what is most important to us. We thank all of you at University Animal Hospital for your kindness, care and compassion, for being trustworthy and honest with us throughout the years. For the exceptional care and love you have given our furry beloved children. We will always appreciate everyone who works there and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Dr. Privette is an awesome vet but that’s the only thing going for this animal hospital. My dog has been going here for several years and recently the office staff is horrendous and rude. Very unprofessional. They clearly need to hire new front desk receptionists with manners.
