My review for now: Good staff, friendly, serious and responsible with both, My pets and me. Dr. who is on Wednesdays and Thursdays, is very good. I will update this review over time.

I made the switch from Crystal Creek vet to this one and so far I am glad I did. Staff is very sweet and Dr takes his time with you and your furbaby

Last year May my dog ​​had dental treatment. 1 tooth took it out and cleaned it. When I went to took it for my dog ​​in the afternoon, they told me to put an ointment on my dog ​​under the lip by their mistake cut. When I got home, I saw that it was cut more than I expected, and I applied ointment, but the blood continued to flow and ooze out. Since then, we've been putting ointment and con for my dog, but the wound didn't heal because my dog ​​kept eating and drinking water also she rubbing the floor. Eventually we took her to another hospital doctor, where the wound was so big that it had to be stitched. It hurts my heart to think of our dog who has suffered for several months. Disappointed at their negligence. If the wound had been stitched up properly then the dog wouldn't have suffered for so long. Careless....

Everyone there is very friendly and helpful and take good care of our pets. They are awesome.

SOAH takes good care of our aging dog. When I needed records transferred they did it promptly. I highly recommend SOAH. EVERYONE there has been caring and responsive to needs and requests.

I don’t think I could ever say enough nice things about Dr Cushing. In February 2021 my family moved from Georgia to Florida, on the highway one of my dogs started having seizures in my car and we took him to UF emergency clinic in Gainesville, a few days later he was diagnosed with cancer and had surgery. A friend of mine brought her dog to SOAH and really liked them so I set up appointments for my dogs so I had a closer vet to help manage our cancer dog. Dr Cushing kept in contact with our oncologist and myself and when I would call and say “I need this medication because they said so” or “I’m having this issue can you see us/give us medication for this” she was always prompt in helping us. June 24th I called them and told them we were coming from an overnight emergency visit and my dog was seizing in my car again. They met us in the parking lot and took him back. When Dr Cushing came in our room to tell us it was time to say goodbye to him she hugged us and cried with us and told him how he was such a good boy. After he passed away she let us go get our other dog and bring her up to the office to say goodbye as well. I will never forget her kindness and compassion that day and as long as she works there and we live in Orlando our other dog will go to her for care. Thank you Dr Cushing for loving our furkids as much as we do.

Where to start? I cannot thank South Orlando Animal Hospital enough! My dog had a very traumatic experience at a local emergency hospital. I was able to bring him into SOAH very quickly to have him looked at. Dr. Cushing and her staff put my dog and myself at ease. They handled him so kindly. He will be staying with them for a few days and I cannot believe how they accommodating they were to his needs. Dr. Cushing and staff, YOU ROCK!

I had to bring my dogs in for there shots and the team was so helpful and very patient with my dogs because they were scared and not being helpful. They gave them treats and made the whole process extremely smooth.

First visit for my Harley (Havanese), was treated very nice by all and Dr Cushing actually drew his blood without hurting him. Although he was nervous from previous visits at another Vet, I was so pleased with the experience at this office. And may I say Dr Cushing was so nice and loved having allot of laughs with her.

Good place to take your pet and they are always very responsive when I call. They have helped us with the stomach issues our dog has and we are very grateful for the advice and support

The doctors of South Orlando Animal Hospital saved our dog in the aftermath of an Addisonian Crisis. Their knowledge, experience, responsiveness and compassion is above reproach. We greatly appreciate the care they gave to our Kona.

South Orlando Animal is the only place we will take our dogs. They are very professional and knowledgeable. In the 10 years we have been going there every staff member from top to bottom really cares about your pet as if it was their own.

Janie and Lisa are always so patient and understanding on the phone. Our pups are taken care of expertly and kindly. We appreciate how attentive and accessible they are

I am always impressed with how the veterinarians at South Orlando Animal Hospital care for and about our furry family members. They treat them as if they are our children and care about them as much as we do. They always make sure all of us are cared for and will do whatever it takes to make sure we are happy and content. It’s a pleasure knowing that money is not their first concern. I highly recommend this practice.

I decided to switch from Crystal Creek to here, and I am loving so far the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. My big dog gets anxiety at the vet and barks, a lot. Each staff would come by to give her treats and sweet talk her. I never experienced such kindness from a whole vet staff. I am happy with my switch and even recommended them. Plus a received a thank you card. ???? on top

Take good care of our cats

The staff and Drs are caring and listen carefully in order to give my pets the best care. They are accommodating when my cats are sick. The Drs explain everything in order for us to make informed decisions. I also like that even if I have a question, they write everything down and get back to me in a timely manner. They treat my pet as if it is their own.

Was my first time taking my kitty, all the staff was friendly and the Doctor took her time and responded all the questions I had..

South Orlando Animal Hospital is the best in south Orlando been getting great care for my animals for over 20 years Would not go anywhere else. The warm caring Doctors are just that warm and caring. I trust all the doctors but I do love Dr Dowst & Dr Hawkins.

The doctor was super tentative in care of not only for the comfort and safety of my dog but also for her staff. She had a lot of great insight to help my dogo. And they also had an endless supplies of treats which made my dog less anxious and more cooperative.

Very happy with the service they provided to my baby Diamond. Will continue to bring my dog to them. Very caring and affordable. Dr called me after visit to check on my baby. Love the service

South Orlando clinic is wonderful! I have a 15 year old cat and they have been treating her for a while. The vets are very knowledgeable and compassionate. The staff is very nice and the lobby is nice and clean. Would highly recommend!

I have always trusted SOAH with my pets. The care by the doctors and technical staff is excellent. They are very professional, loving and gentle with accurate, spot on diagnosis. How do I know they care about the patients? My pets love going there! Would never think of taking my pets to another facility.

Before taking my Doberman to get her ears cropped I did a lot of research. This place stood out because of their reviews. The people are nice and the Dr did a great job on her surgery. Will recommend to anyone for ear cropping!

This is a great veterinary office. It is well run, professional, clean, well staffed, and have multiple Dr's on duty everyday. It's run more like a hospital and not like the tiny clinics I've been used to going in the past. If there is an emergency that one Dr. Is dealing with there are others that are on duty to keep up with the schedule.. The Dr's come out and speak with you, as you are not allowed inside the room at this time, to explain what's up and listen to my questions so I didn't feel rushed. Appointments are generally on time and they don't keep you waiting long. Dr. Finnell and Dr. Dowst both took great care of Murphy the cat who is like my child. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great vet in Orlando.

The front desk was just phenomenal. They were very patient with me & the many phone calls I made due to concern for my pets. A special kudo to Cathy. Also, a big thank you to the vets Dr Dowst and Dr Hawkins for taking time to explain the procedures necessary for diagnosis and treatment. The promise to show love to my babies was much appreciated when we decided the best thing for them was to send them across the “rainbow bridge”. 3 kitties in one month to make that trip is very sad for me, but I had them for 20 years to love. Thank you all.
