Everyone at Silver Star Animal Hospital is very competent and very helpful and welcoming. The clinic is clean and, barring any emergencies, appointments are handled on time. Dr. Choset and staff demonstrate that they are interested in and care about your pets. It is a great experience. Thanks to Dr. Choset & his team, my Dandie Dinmont Terrier was able to compete at Orlando dog shows this week! Able to get him in quickly, diagnose & treat in time to have him at his best! Thanks for your grewt care!

I appreciate the way Dr. Choset and the nurse worked together in the examination. My cat was not stressed, which allowed him to investigate the areas of concern. Coming in to the visit, I was worried about the prognosis. But after the visit, I left feeling confident that the treatment he recommended was the best one for my cat and for me.

They were great(all)we took a unsocializedv.injured bl.chow there 18yrs ago and they were superb(fixed him&healed injuries,visited yesterday(cat)feel the same about them now!T.Y. you to them❤️

Great saved my mother's kitten's life

I am very disappointed in the customer service of Silver Star Animal Hospital. I brought my chihuahua for examination. I paid $55 for the examination, $57.55 for clavamox liquid, and $27.35 for furosemide. I called back and said that it would be a problem with the liquid because our dog is aggressive and doesn't take liquids other than water. We were told we could change this one out. So after driving all the way back there, i was told that there would be an additional $37 for the tablet form, and that they couldn't take the other one back at all. No one likes financial surprises. I could have been told on the telephone that it couldn't be changed out, and that there was an additional charge of $37 for the medicine that i actually could give our dog. So I was faced with an initial $57.55 for a medicine that i can't use, plus an additional $37 for the real medicine. I refused, and left. I was disappointed that they handled it this way. I see from your response that you totally missed the point. You had 3 opportunities to inform us on the telephone that there was additional cost for the exchange BEFORE i drove down there. The time wasted was the issue.

I want to say that I was going through a very hard time wanting to help a dog that I could not help in any way. Had an unusual service request for Dr Choset. It was a busy Saturday and He was probably all booked up. They made it all clear - I had to pay the $55. Was I expecting a free service? No! I mean come on people, be realistic. I wasn’t even expecting to talk to him in person. Instead he came out, sat down and showed how much he cared. Thank you! It meant the world to me. People don’t understand the stress vets go through, all the pain they have to somehow live with and go home and be normal parents/friends/spouses. I am sure that Dr Choset saved a lot more animals no one ever spoke about. I’d hate to see his amazing business ruined by people who are going through a very hard time and unable to accept that he did all he could do. Dr Choset, you are truly amazing and even tho Duke and Dakota don’t live with us full time anymore I will definitely chose you again and bring our new dog in your good care. Thank you for all you do. You are truly amazing!

Caring. Unfortunately are "good boy" had cancer and it was not able to be treated. They helped us through the process and they were very caring and respectful about it. These people are professional.

This used to be my go-to vet. The last 2 times I wanted to schedule, they were closed for the day...during the week!!! I need a full-service vet that is available when my pet needs assistance.

I have been going to Silver Star Animal Hospital over 2 years. I have had 5 animals treated there. Normally, everything is fine. This time a problem occurred during payment. I tried to hand Brenda my Care Credit card. She said "it has a Mastercard logo so run it there. " I did and it did not give me the 6 months interest free. I asked them to correct their mistake and they told me to call Care Credit directly. I did and Care Credit said they need to refund and recharge the card correctly. Silver Star refused to do so. I asked over 3 times for them to fix it. They would not. I explained that I would have to dispute the charge to have it removed. Once I was refunded, I would come back in for them to charge the card correctly. They said okay. Now they are refusing to see my sick cat because they refused to fix their own mistake. I am so angry they first didn't acknowledge their mistake. Second they refused to fix it. Third they are refusing to see my sick cat. Bad business. Uncaring!!

Dr.Choset and his staff are above and beyond the most caring, professional and knowledgeable veterinarian professionals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They have cared for my precious dog as if she was their own. They also cared for us and showed sympathy and compassion when our furry family member became ill. Very accommodating vet and very pleased every time I go in with my kitties. Friendly staff and available Saturday hours are great for the weekday warriors like myself. Glad to have found a great place to take the fur babies to for whatever they may need.

Brenda at the front desk was so polite, not with just with me but other clients in the phone. The tech and Dr. Choset were absolutely wonderful with my jerk of a cat. Cant wait to get him groomed and bring my dogs to see them.
