We boarded our pup here for nearly three weeks and had the best experience. Our dog is young and active, but also tentative towards humans. She requires patience, which the Rockys staff had plenty of. Our dog had a great time and the daily pictures or videos were reassuring to us. What a great place!! We will be back next year.

Rocky’s is fantastic, I would give them a 6/5 if I could. I used them to board my dog for the first time and was nervous about being away from him, but they were great about sending photos/videos and replying to messages. I knew he was safe, happy, and in great hands

My dogs love me - or at least that's what I thought until I brought them to Rocky's Retreat for 5 days. When they came running out, I expected the usual delighted greeting after a stay at a kennel - instead, they sniffed me casually and tried to run back inside!!! And wanted to play with the nice staff Lady and wanted to cozy up to Craig, the friendliest man ever at the front desk - anything but come home with me! If that's not testimony to happy and well treated dogs, I got nothing lol

Our 2 dogs loved Rocky's. Very clean, well maintained, friendly staff and much more. We were sent photos and videos of our pets while we were out of town and made us very comfortable as first time customers. Highly recommended! Again in July 2021amazing service-thank you very much. You won't go wrong with the crew at Rocky's Retreat! Knowing that our Dexter is having as much fun as we are on vacation is piece of mind I didn't know I needed! I love that swimming is an option, and play time is not! They are extremely wonderful sending updates, pictures and videos. It made our entire family's day to see him having a great time.

Everyone cares so much about each dog and go above and beyond to customize care for each individual case. The love and kindness is palpable and no detail is too big or too small if it benefits the dog. The peace of mind this brings is priceless. They can accommodate any size and personality. Do not hesitate to bring your beloved fur family member here. They treat each one like their own and bond to them. It’s like home away from home. They keep in constant contact with you and. even accommodate special diets and habits. Daily photos/ videos keep you updated. Can’t say enough good things !

I left my puppy named Sparkey there for a couple days and the service was Amazing! . They had the most friendly staff and I had an overall very good experience here. If you want a daycare center for your dog I definitely recommend this place!

My dog goes to Rocky's Retreat for swimming lessons. This is a dog who won't put his face in a water bowl if it's big enough to see the water or his reflection in the bottom. I heard about Rocky's and decided to reach out. We've been going to swim every week for about a month now, and my dog absolutely loves it there! He cries when he knows we're getting ready to go, and drags me to the door when we get there! April and Max are so loving and patient with him. He was comfortable with them right away. Yesterday, my boy was up to his chest in the water! I couldn't be happier and more excited to see his progress!

I can't say enough amazing things about Rocky's Retreat and their staff. I searched everywhere when we first got our Pitbull pup, Pharaoh, and I'm so glad I found Rocky's. From day one they have all been super kind to me and extremely loving to our fur baby. I have no doubt that every time we leave Pharaoh in their hands, he is well taken care of for the entire time. If you're looking for a great place for your furry friend to get not only wonderful socialization but to also be taken care of like they are when they are with you, then Rocky's is your pups home away from home.

Had the best experience boarding here. I’ve always boarded my German Shepherd at a doggy day care but he’s hurt his nose twice now trying to escape from the cage bars. I love that Rocky’s has actual rooms with doors rather than the bars and let you bring your own items for them to sleep with. The owner was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to get us set up same day when I was in a bind. This is also one of the few day cares that let him attend without requiring him to be fixed at 7 months, which majority of places do despite the fact it goes against the vet’s advice for his breed for health reasons. Can’t express how grateful I am for their help and would recommend them to anyone who wants to make their dog as comfortable as possible while they’re away.

Rocky's is fantastic! April and her staff are outstanding and you can tell they love what they do. We take our 2 dogs there to help them get acclimated with swimming and each time we go, I feel they're getting more comfortable. You couldn't ask for a better facility - clean and very well run!

We found Rocky's Retreat in just the right time. Based on numerous platform reviews, our family decided to give them a try. So glad that we did. We had initially planned for just a few days for doggie daycare, but we ended up extending it for over a week because our pup had a noticeable positive change being around the other dogs. The staff and services were excellent; we received several videos and photos throughout the day and kept to our pup's feeding schedule. So happy that we found a new place for our fur babies. The investment that you put towards their services makes a difference. Give them a try.

Our dogs are so excited when we pull into Rocky’s Retreat! The Rocky’s team takes wonderful care of them. We love getting pictures of their adventures each day. Our boys have been going to Rocky’s Retreat for years; we are always confident that they are having fun while receiving great care.

There aren’t enough words to describe how much our family loves Rocky’s Retreat! Our puppy needed some love while we were at work and that’s exactly what she got. They are so accommodating with our schedules and they send us videos and pictures every time she is there. They will even give baths which is sooooo helpful!!! Our puppy is always happy when we drive up and can’t wait to see her friends inside (human friends too ????????)!

This place is awesome!!!! They took such great care of my two large fur babies???? not only did they make my doggies feel so comfortable and safe, which is not an easy task, they sent pictures and videos to keep me updated and part of the experience!!! The staff is super helpful and warm. They make the entire experience stress free from the moment you call to the time you pick up your babies???? highly recommend this place for any and all pet-cations!!!!

My boy loves going here to swim. Indoor pool so my Rottweiler isn't in the sun. They are even great at teaching dogs to swim. We bring my female who isn't a fan as well. Last time I took my Aunt's dog with my boy for some fun. He was trying to save the golden so he got leashes so she could get some pool time.

April was FANTASTIC with my Lilly they worked together for the 1st time together today like they had for years. I am so pleased. Thank you so much for being so gentle with my baby.

Best place for your pets! No doubt about it! METTA Rescue Family is fortunate to be able to work closely with the owner, April for several years now. The moment she bought Rocky's Retreat, she was compelled to foster a homeless dog that would not only benefit from a roof over their head and companionship but also hydrotherapy. Rocky's soon became one of METTA'S forst fosters and Cookie's loving home where he's been thriving ever since. Rocky's has been a blessing to our rescue. Their dedication and commitment to providing a safe, fun and loving atmosphere for every animal in their care is remarkable.

My dog seemed to love his stay at Rocky’s and the staff seemed very loving and caring! I appreciate that they text you pictures and updates daily. It makes me feel confident that I made the right decision in choosing this boarding facility. I like that the dogs get to have more outdoor time than a larger facility would give. We discovered Rocky's Retreat when we were looking for a place for our corgi (Duke) to be able to swim. His back legs are a bit weak, and his vet recommended swimming sessions. We don't have a pool, so we were thrilled when we found Rocky's Retreat and learned about their hydrotherapy swim packages. April at Rocky's Retreat was awesome in helping Duke become comfortable in the pool, and she did a great job working with him overall. We have since used Rocky's Retreat for most of our boarding needs. What I love about this place is that they send photos each day of our dog as he is playing. We've boarded Duke at a few places before, with mixed results. (I go by my dog's response when it comes to boarding locations. If he's reluctant to re-enter a boarding facility, I take that as a sign.) Each time we have brought Duke to Rocky's Retreat for boarding, he is always excited, and never tries to follow us out when we leave. He LOVES it here, and the team at Rocky's really know how to take care of our dog's needs. The dogs get ample time out in the yard each day, and Duke comes home happy (and tuckered out!) each time. I highly recommend you give April and her team a call if you're interested in a great environment for your dog whether it's for boarding, day care, swimming, or all of the above!

I cannot say enough good things about Rocky's. I have been taking my dog, Fred, to them since he was three months old and it has been truly been the best experience every time. Whether I am taking Fred there for doggy daycare or dropping him off for boarding I know he is in the best hands, and having the best time. I mean every time I take him out for a walk he pulls toward my car hoping that we are going to Rocky's. I love getting the picture and video updates of Fred playing with all his friends and seeing the big smile on his face. And needless to say he is wiped from all the fun and attention when I pick him up after daycare or a trip. But you cannot ask for a more personable and caring group of people. Rocky's will be my go to for boarding and daycare forever.

We have a German Shepard who is usually very protective and slightly aggressive and had to leave him for boarding for 14 days. He had a bad experience with his last boarding place and we were a bit weary. The staff assured us he would be okay and the were equipped to handle him and would give us updates. We received a picture everyday with updates and he was so happy. He was able to interact with other dogs and got along with the staff fine! We will definitely bring him back without hesitation. Amazing place!!

Winston loves the staff and all his friends at daycare. They actually care about your pups and special instructions for their care here. It's also one of the few doggy daycares in the area that allow friendly unaltered dogs in group play.
