Office staff is rude! They don’t understand that my dog is like a child, she is spoiled and well taken care of. I called the office trying to ask questions to the doctor after her surgery. I got no return call backs I had to call 3 days in a row multiple times until I said I’m not getting off he phone until I get answers. Very frustrating, felt like the staff didn’t care enough to take the time to help. Made me sad to think that they weren’t as concerned about my fur baby was having issues after her surgery.

Highly recommend! We took our 4 dogs today for an exam and their shots. The office staff, vet tech & Dr Nelson were all very nice and helpful! We love that our vet tech & Dr. Nelson took the time to make each one of our dogs feel comfortable and got to know them a little bit before just giving them their shots. We didn’t feel rushed at all but they got us in, got us seen and on our way! This is definitely our fur babies new Dr office!!!

I recommend this clinic over any other animal clinic in Ocala. My family has been using there services for over 10 years. Staff is amazing and the vet care is affordable. They are willing to work with you on payment options and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you and YOUR PET is taken care of, satisfied and happy.

My boy is a 160lb german rottweiler and magnolia slandered him into such an aggressive monster that no one would see him. Skylark took the chance i muzzled him and he was treated like a big teddy bear, and was not showing any aggression towards the staff i guess he did not like magnolia anymore than i did. He got his ears packed a culture and new patient fee added up to 300$ even and magnolia wanted to charge 350$! Just for the culture!

I was very pleased with the dental care given by the Vets, techs and gals at front desk. I will definitely go to them again when needed !

I took my chihuahua mix to get her nails cut and for a check up. The staff was kind in handling her and successful in clipping her nails without having to sedate her. It’s extremely close to our home which makes me feel better about caring for my emotional support fur baby!

The vet for our cat Luna. They aren't open in the weekend but usually can get you worked in pretty fast. We had our Luna cat spayed, she recovered well and didn't have any complications. Also been there another time for an eye injury, didn't have to wait long. Professional and quick service.

Best veterinarian around hands down always get treated like family will recommend

Really, I am disappointed. I wanted relief for my cat. Not a major operation. The vet would not drain the cyst. Yes I know what a hematoma is and I'm sorry but it seems it's just about the money. The last time I was there with a cat with an injury to his eye. They wanted to remove the eye. I washed out his eye and kept it clean. You can't tell which eye was injured. Sorry, my Ph.D .D from John's Hopkins out weighs their knowledge of medicine. I can only hope they learn a bit more about people skills and the meaning of a persons love for their pets.

Good staff. Great with our obnoxious fox terrier. Very through and compassionate. I highly recommend for you and your pet. We took Wilson in for his shots and I was there for ten minutes. In and out!! No waiting with nervous pets.

Staff are all very friendly and pricing is fair. My animals have all been very comfortable here.

I have been asking about what I can give my little Russell for her allergies, and no one ever calls me. The doctor mentioned her allergies but never suggested anything for her so I keep calling and he never calls back. I asked about my puppy having to potty allot and all they said was if it is dribbles then she could have a problem, but i said she goes more than usual , the girl told me not to worry she is fine. Sat. They are not open so i had to take her to the UF emergency hospital and they gave her clavamox because she had a bladder infection ,it cost me almost 400.00 dollars for the test , blood work and meds . I will never go back to Skylark vets. Again! They pretend to care to get your appointment after that you are pretty much on your own looking up on the internet to find out whats wrong with your pup and make sure you do the right thing and best for your baby. The internet helps more than Skylark vets.

Very friendly. A little on the pricey side but not more than expected for an animal hospital. Tell them up front if you have a budget and they do a great job of quoting their price and letting you decide the treatment you can afford.

Skylarks staff members are always professional and courteous. We know our fur babies are in good hands everytime the visit!
