This is such a great place to go!

Walked in the front door to the most horrendous odor, cages caked with animal waste, dirty fish tanks- what a freaking health issue to anything in that building!!!! I see why they don’t offer a guarantee on their fish!!! Fancy’s needs to be SHUT DOWN

Nice to have a pet store çlose, however the odor when you walk in will turn your stomach. Will not return.

Decent stock quite a few pets to choose from, smells a little....

Over priced on many things, but the thing that makes most mad is she or rather "He" offers no warranty on pets.. You buy.. They die.. Oh well.. Tough.. That is wrong.. Too bad they have no local competition...

Has a great groomer. My dogs actually enjoy their time with her.

Haven’t been here in years stopped by today for a fish tank filter and when we walked in it smelt terrible. Employees were standing around and there is plenty of work that needs to be done. Rat cages were gross, fish tanks were awful. These pets are not cared for properly. We left.

I went to this pet store a week ago and had to leave immediately. The smell from the animals was overwhelming and down right disgusting. It burned my skin and eyes and I almost vomited. Somebody needs to take better care of the animals there! Every fish we have ever bought, dies within a day. The animals deserve better!

It’s a good place to get emergency stuff for your pets. Their stock of almost everything is very low. It’s still a great place

Every time I have been to Fancy's It has been clean, I've sold Finch & Diamond Dove. Also bought birds on the same visit. Grooming (X-groomer)is a personal opinion. The time I saw a groomed pet, it was beautiful.

This place has lots of pet supplies. But the building is in need of repairs.

The animals in this place are absolutely adorable, the bunnies, the ferrets, i was even tempted by the little rats. One of the chameleons was very friendly, but it might have been that he was just really hungry and thought we were gonna feed him. But the animals are not well kept and it's sad. The place really really smells so bad. The fish, oh goodness, poor things. I understand lots of places are short staffed at the moment, but if you can't care for that many animals, maybe lessen what is kept in the store. The cages should be cleaned in the mornings before the store opens, put fresh litter in the tanks. This could be a nice place, but it needs a bit more love and care. Also, maybe a little greeting when you walk in or when staff walk back and forth next to you and don't offer any help or acknowledge you in any type of way.

This is a store with positives and negatives. On the positive side, the hours are good. They are open 7 days a week, which is very convenient to the consumer. They have good prices on feeder insects and rats, which is typically the reason I go there. I have a ball python and tarantulas. The staff are generally nice and positive. I do have a lot of concerns about the store and husbandry of certain animals in their store. Firstly, you will notice a terrible smell when you walk in, which I attribute to the large number of rats and rodents in the back area. I do not know the cleaning schedule of the tanks they keep them in, but I doubt is frequent. Second, the prices on many of the items are substantially marked up. I understand and expect some mark up from a local non-chain store, but I feel like they are way too high. Third, the binned parrot and rodent food. I used to buy their binned food for my guinea pigs and parrots. They have white bins filled with an assortment of pellets and mixtures. These bins are not sealed well, and I had to stop buying them when I started having moth larvae show up in my own sealed bins after using their products. I have found moth silk on their bins upon closer inspection. I do have major concerns with how they keep their invertebrates and betta fish. Their tarantulas, for example, are all bald (sign of stress), are kept on sand (they need soil or coco fiber), have no ability to dig or burrow, are left long periods of time with large crickets (which can eat them if they go into a molt), and have water dishes filled with damp paper towels (This is a very outdated husbandry which can lead to bacterial growth. It is perpetuated by a myth that tarantulas will drown in a water dish. They can swim!). I also do not like that they sell bettas in vases, which perpetuates bad husbandry. Bettas should be kept in 2.5-5 gallon enclosures to give them the space to engage in their natural behavior and to minimize the toxicity levels in their water. The majority of experts on this fish agree it is inhumane. All-in-all, I do not feel positively on the whole about the store. If there were another pet store locally with as consistent feeder insect inventory, I would probably go there. The intention of this review is not to bad mouth the owners or employees, rather bring attention to some glaring issues in the hopes of some changes. If they do show signs of improvement, I would definitely edit my review to a more favorable one.

Store smells like animal cages are needing cleaning.

First time we visited here and it was a very nice store. They had everything that we were looking for with good prices. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

This is the most disgusting pet store I have ever been in. The smell was almost unbearable and the store was not in good condition. Will never buy animals here.

I bring my niece here every 2weeks to buy feeder rats for her snake. We normally get 2 because I drive almost 30 min to pick them up and it's easier to keep the extra in a clean aquarium with food and water until the next feeding day than to make the extra trip. Wouldn't you know that today is feeding day and the second rat dropped dead last night. I understand that sometimes animals become ill and that feeder animals especially tend to be more prone to such things due to inbreeding and cramped conditions/stress of shipping. I called and explained the situation and simply asked if they would replace the deceased animal if I went to purchase more. Nope. Not unless it died within 24hrs of purchase. A whole $5 value. We have bought over a dozen rats in the last few months and yet I can't get one replaced that died in less than 12 days of purchase. Ok then. Guess repeat business is not as important as that $5. On principle I will be going elsewhere.

Staff was nice and helpful, a bit more rough around the edges than a petco but he animals are taken care of much better

I just love this pet store they pretty much have everything you need so only been a few times they didn't carry what I was looking for but for the most part it's your "Go To" for sure..

It smelled so bad inside that even though I tried to stay I just couldn't take it and had to leave the store. I've been in many pet stores, I 100% understand that animals have a smell to them, but this was something beyond unacceptable in regards to cleanliness and animal care. This place should be ashamed of themselves.

My son & I found a cute bunny at Fancy Pets yesterday and He’s very healthy and happy. We were able to find everything he needed right there as well. They also have many other pets.

This place was DISGUSTING. Not only was the store gross, but the employees were more concerned with their own conversation than helping customers. They were rude and snarky when asking to be rang out. I wouldn’t stop here again even if it was the only pet shop left in this town.

I bring my dog to have a mani-pedi...right at this moment I can't remember the woman's name, but she is great!! My baby doesn't like having it done at all and she is so patient with him....Thanks so much!!

Well it definitely smelled like a pet store. I was looking for a good chew toy or bone for my frenchie but No luck.
