New vet area great service

We were so happy with our service today! This is the first Vet we have seen that really listened to us and only wanted to help us figure out what is going on with our dog. All the staff was super friendly and they were able to get us in right away.

First time there. Excellent, kind n caring.

My dog's health had deteriorated drastically in a two-week period. I was on a cancellation wait list with my vet of 10 years. This was acceptable as my dog was eating well and was mobile and we kept in contact. But one day, she was doing worse than ever. Couldn't walk, wheezing, and wouldn't eat much. I called my vet, but could not get in, as they book four to five months out for appointments. In fact, when I called and explained my situation that this was an emergency and if they could not help me I would have to go to another vet, all I got was a very cold-hearted response of "you have their email address?". I called quail meadow and explained the situation. It was their short day and they were closing in an hour. But go figure, they said bring her in. Come to find out, she was a lot worse off than I though. One can't ever say for sure in a situation like this, but I believe they saved my dog's life. I don't think she would have made it too much longer. After fully explaining the situation to me, Dr Hernandez got her on a treatment plan and I noticed a difference on day one. I've found a new veterinarian! A very kind and caring staff, led by an excellent veterinarian with a bedside manner to match. I'm eternally grateful. Mark Turner

My wife and I have 7 working line German Shepherds. We were referred to Dr. Hernandez in 2015 at her last location of practice. We followed her to her own practice at Quail Meadow. She is very knowledgeable not only with our other pet animals but also our high drive working dogs. She has earned the respect of our grumpiest male. She shows the highest quality of respect towards our animals and is very patient if they begin to act up. She is the only one we trust completely with our animal's lives.

My dog; Baby was in terrible shape.Dr. Hernandez knew what to do for her and now she is on the mend, out of pain and getting relief. I am thankful for her and so is Baby!

I searched to find a Vet with expertise with dental work for Oliver. Dr. Andrea and her staff were very informative, gave a tour of their facility to relieve my anxiety as well as treated Oliver with exceptional care. I plan on bringing the rest of my Daschound crew to her!

My grand dog Benson fell ill suddenly and that's when I learned that my vet was shut down. I called around and other clinics said they were too busy to see him. But when I called Quail Meadows they said they'd see if the Dr. could squeeze him in. A few minutes later they called back and asked that I drop him off in about an hour and she'd check him out. The Dr. called me 5 different time through the day as she thought he had a blockage but x-rays showed extreme constipation, everything was explained in detail throughout the day. Long story short - treatment failed and palpation found a mass in the colon. The doctor spent a lot of time with me on the phone & in the office. They also made surgical calls which were cost prohibitive so the family felt it best to let him go. I have never experienced the level of compassion from any vet as I did with Dr. Hernandez and her staff! When I do get another pet - I know who I can trust with their care!

I really liked the vet hospital. Clean and friendly. The doctor and tech were great. They handled my Bella nicely. Great information. Definitely will be my babya doctor.

We were out of town when our beagle had an urgent issue. This clinic had no problem fitting her in right away. Dr. Hernandez was very professional, responsive & concerned regarding our issues. She took care of us with every thing needed. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Thank you to the entire staff!

Everyone her is warm, welcoming and focused on your furry friends. No matter if updating vaccines or treating a serious illness, I could not more highly recommend any vet I've ever visited!

Great staff genuinely care about your pet, I'm a new pet owner so it was very comforting they Took the time with my dog, her being a rescue Dr. Hernandez knows her stuff and has impeccable memory, fair warning she'll remember your pet before she remembers you lol, but that's the great thing about her, small place with big heart

When will Vets get smart and realize when you are old and alone, your pets ARE your children? I was told to wait on the parking lot and the Vet would call me on the phone. I said, “No she won’t because I never dropped my children off and waited on the parking lot. I was denied being able to go with my dog. Just a week ago I went into same place with my neighbor to have his cat put down! I will not go back there again. Found a Vet that lets me go in with my dog!

Dr. Andrea Hernandez and her staff are wonderful! I started bringing my two new puppies to this vet in January 2020 and I'm so glad I did. The office is clean, everyone is friendly and helpful, and Dr. Hernandez always answers any questions or concerns and is happy to share her knowledge. I never wait long or have any issues, and I love how much they really care about the health and well-being of pets!

I visited Quail Meadow Animal Hospital today. First, great easy parking. Two clean and friendly reception area. Staff was lovely and the vet is wonderful. You can tell everyone loves animals first. Highly recommend!

I took my dog Kevin and cat Sassy to see Dr H on the recommendation of a close friend. I must say this is the best animal hospital in Ocala. Dr H and the staff are knowledgeable, patience and compassionate. If you're looking for a vet who cares and wants the best for your best friend or beloved family pet take them to Quail Meadow Animal Hospital.

I have followed Dr. Hernandez to her new hospital. It is beautiful inside! and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They will make you feel like part of the family. :)

Vet & staff very nice and accomodating

We adopted our dog from the local shelter and he was sick with all kinds of shenanigans, dr Hernandez and staff have taken such great care of him and we are so thankful. Super nice people, we couldn't have asked for a better vet

Dr. Hernandez and her staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they really treat my dogs like family, she diagnoses my dog properly and spends time Explaining everything. The hospital is top of the line with all the diagnostic equipment and laboratory in situ. The meds we're convenient to buy there too. Very pleased with the high-quality care.
