Do not take your pets here. I took my 3 month old large breed puppy here. They do not wipe the scales or the exam tables in between dogs. They recommended neutering our large breed dog at 6 months old which is an AWFUL recommendation, and …

Wish I could give zero stars. Very unhygienic, and the vet was very uneducated. Called our dog a “it. Recommended neutering a large breed at six months old. Stay away.

Absolutely love Dr. Lauren Schleenbaker! She is awesome with our 2 awesome doggies Jax and Bella. Not the cheapest place, not the most inexpensive place either but bringing our dogs to her is worth the amount. Ask for her to be your animals vet, there is another vet in the office so make sure you request her, she is seriously an awesome caring vet.

They always make room for you, we have a GSD and when she was about a year old she was playing with a snake and before I could get to her she was bitten. What made it worse was that the snake got away. Armed with only a eye witness account, they told me to bring her in with no notice at all. When I got there the caring personnel at Toledo Blade quickly got her into a room and settled. After examining her they found no snake bite and determined that it was the dog’s owner that needed help and not the dog, I was able to get her home and back to playing within the hour. Thanks to everyone at Toledo Blade.

We have been bringing our little fur baby Murphy to this clinic since he was brought into our home. The staff are great! Polite engaging and very friendly (even though they are super busy). They are compassionate and caring of Murphy's needs. We have never doubted that they truly care about our four legged family. You'd be hard pressed to find a better animal clinic in this area. Thank you for all you do.

I just keep recommending friends because of the caring way they take care of my two dogs and my cat (well only once). The Clinic has just also donated 10 huge bags of Critter food for Louisiana dogs and cats, because of devastation of hurricane.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. This incident happened a little under a year ago, because of COVID-19, we hit hardship and I wasn't worried about TBAC (Toledo Blade Animal Clinic) at the moment. I was more focused on getting myself and family back on our feet. When I think about what they did to my Lilyanna. It boils my blood and that's why I can't let this go. We were regulars at TBAC and when I told them, I would never bring my dog back to their clinic. The clinical manager really did not care. It took her weeks to return our calls and when she finally did (after me calling her office a bunch of times) she was rude and vary unprofessional. Her comments did not bother me, but if a loyal customer told me they're never coming back. I'd do what I must do to earn their trust again. My dog was scheduled for a procedure that day and as I stated earlier. We've been regulars before, but this time we were dropping her off early and picking her up hours later. On previous visits, they would take her away to the back of the clinic and when she was brought back to us. They would tell us EVERYTIME "Oh! We clipped her nails as a complimentary service at no charge to you." This time they did not mention anything to me. Until we got home and there was blood all over the back seat of my car and in my home. What they did was clip her nails down to her paw and it would not stop bleeding. They knew what they did was wrong, and they were not transparent with us. They did not even bandage her up. They waited until she stopped bleeding to hand her back to us. After we left, all four of her paws started bleeding again on my back seat and continued into my home. When I called to complain, they offered to bandage her up and I told them, no! I'm not trusting them with my dog anymore. I just spent close to $500 on getting my dog teeth cleaned (which they did not do a good job) even if it was on accident. They did not accept responsibility and hold themselves accountable. Later, I started to remember how uncomfortable the staff made me feel at times. How I would feel pressured into purchasing heart warm medicine and another occasion when they were literally wrestling with my dog to get her to hold still, but a smart vet would've sedated her. It’s hard for me to trust my dog in other people’s care now. I realized, no one is going to love your dog like you do. These people just want your money.

We are new to the area. I brought my dog to Toledo Blade animal clinic a couple months ago for an infection. I called last week to make an appointment for his annual shots when I realized I had only 2 weeks left of his thyroid medicine. The receptionist said there were no appointments for 5 to 6 weeks. I asked if I can make that appointment and have 3 to 4 weeks of thyroid medicine to hold him over until the appointment. She said no and told me that would be “illegal”. I explained that we were already established but she told me not until the dog was seen again. Because I have been a nurse for 37 years, I know this is not illegal. And I also know the veterinarian could do this for me. We have 4 animals and they lost a lot of business with myself and referrals! Of course we went somewhere else and are very very happy there.

Dr. Minnich is a conspiracy toting, anti-science Qanon member. I would not trust my dog with someone who doesn’t believe basic recommendations from the CDC regarding communicable diseases. Additionally, I’ve seen Dr Minnich bullying people with his Facebook account. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior. Customers be warned.

I needed to get my dog in right away and they were very nice about fitting me in. Everyone is very nice and compassionate, and take the time to explain the options. The cost of the service was very good compared to todays prices. Thank you for all your help. Terry Schrieber

Just called to make an appointment to bring my very sick dog in to get examined. Was told "They are not taking any new patients". Really? What kind of vet does not want to help out a sick animal? Maybe when their snow bird clients have all gone up north for the summer they can make time for someone else's sick pet! They should have this displayed on their website if they are not taking new patients!!!!

If it wasn't for these wonderful people, my Buddy Boo Bear would not be here today, literally. Just got back home a few hours ago and he is stable from an allergic reaction to pollen/paralyzed larynx, which then made his throat swell to the point he could not breathe. The staff worked together as a team to rush Buddy inside the building to get immediate care. The staff most definitely cares about the animals and pet owners. They offered me everything they possibly could, to make sure I was as comfortable as possible, as I waited during this traumatic time. I want to thank the gentleman who rushed out to carry buddy from the car into the building, the front staff who was very caring as always, and Dr. Lauren who is very knowledgeable, kind, and a great communicator. Thank you Andy and everyone else in the back who has always been there to take care of Buddy with all the craziness. Thank you for saving my best friend!

First time there . Just adopted an older dog . Their name was on the list to see the dog after he left the kennel. I was very happy with the way they handle a big dog. I told them that they would now be my dog's Dr. I like the way the examining rooms are just off the entrance, with a nice bench to wait on.
