Great grooming place. Excelent service.

Please beware!! I left my puppy for the first time on 12/21 and after over 3 hours the gave him back with major cuts. I would be okay if it would have been one or two but it was complete negligence. Please be aware with your precious animal.

My father-in-law took his dog to this place. They shaved the dogs hair so close around his private area that it was bleeding in 3 places. The owner yelled at the groomer for using the wrong setting. The groomers are not trained for this profession. The store did not reimburse us for the grooming. We had to pay full price. I would NOT recommend this spa.

I have never interacted with more unprofessional women! My pet will never stay here! Search elsewhere for your boarding and daycare needs.

I cannot thank Rio's Pet Spa & Boarding enough. Me and my family left our dog, Buddy, here whilst we went on a 10 day trip. Throughout the trip we could have our anxieties relieved by checking their constantly updated instagram. Which was filled with pictures of Buddy and his newfound friends. He had come back a much happier and calmer dog. So, once again thank you to Patricia, Flavia and their wonderful caretakers for keeping our ever-excited puppy safe and cared for while we were away.

First time trying Rio’s after it was recommended to me. I left my kitty for 4 days and I am very pleased with the service. Flavia is very nice and caring to my Chai. They take videos of your pet and it’s a very family oriented place. Will return!

always professional and happy people - clean eyes clean nails and if I am running late they don’t leave my dog caged for very long- Fur Parents pay attention if you baby doesn’t hesitate to go with the groomer then you know your baby is safe- there is an extra charge for day care so if you need to drop off early and pick up late you can - I recommend it and the price is reasonable specially nice to know it’s available when you need it- I have never used boarding but do recommend visit the place request a tour they are great! Milo is loving it! They even post pictures of him on insta, so it keeps me super calm to know he is having fun while I am out of town!

Ive sent my fur baby to about 3 other places and she has never come back home smelling as good, deshedded properly, nails looking fantastic and MOST IMPORTANTLY HAPPY!!!!!

Truly the best!! I’ve been taking my dog here for years and this summer I’ve been taking him even more than usual. My dog has such a good time there. The last time we took him there, when we went to pick him up he didn’t even want to stop playing with the dogs and the workers! The grooming is incredible, not to mention the boarding services. Every time our little boy comes back from Rio’s Pet Spa, we feel the service is always a 15/10!!!

Staff is extremely friendly... My beautiful dog came out super clean. They did a phenomenal job!!

I can not say enough good things about Patricia and the staff at Rio’s pet spa. I have never really lefts my 2 dogs anywhere but the vet and they came back a little depressed. Someone in the Shores recommended them and I decided to give them a try and I am so happy I did. I took the dogs for a trial day and they passed and I left them for 9 nights and they were very well cared for and I loved that I was able to see pictures of them on Instagram. I also took both my dogs for a bath there. I will definitely use them in the future for everything I need.

Patrícia was great with my baby Yoshi. She is normally not easy to groom as she hates strangers and water and the blower. But somehow Patrícia worked her magic and Yoshi was well behaved with her. We will for sure be coming back. Thank you Patricia!

What can i say ! The best place ever to take care of your furry kids . Its been 15 years and counting trusting them ….With 3 dogs , my mom with 5 and my sister with 1 . And let me tell you , for me to trust someone to take care of them is hard but i found Rio’s and it makes my life sooooo easy !!!! Good Job girls !!!

This is one of the best places to take your pet to be groomed. Patricia and her staff are true animal lovers and take care of all the needs of the pets left in their care. My Winston loves going to Rios to play and I love it when I pick him up all cleaned and smelling great! I highly recommend Rio’s pet Spa!

My name Is Patricia Bastos and I am the owner of Rio’s Pet Spa & Boarding...I have been in business for 13 years and i know exactly what i am doing. This lady Angela Carmona is complaning about her room mate dog. Let me explain my side of the history. Dog was neglected for a couple of months because she said her groomer close down. She brought me the dog all matted up full of fleas. We shaved the dog with a #10 blade, the dog had a rash on the back of the tail as you see on her picture, but the dog was scratching at home, but he had the hair to cover the skin. When I shaved the dog, we saw the rash, we applied cortizone 10 creme on the spot and I told her exactly why the dog had a rash there. she understood, paid, and left. After 3 days, the owner of the dog came in to complain and i explained him what was going on. I don't know if he was away on vacation and the room mate was taking care of the dog. I just know i even offered him a free medicated bath in one week after the grooming because it is not recommended to bathe a dog more than twice on a week. People are crazy, they make the mistakes and want to blame someone else. I have my piece of mind that i just helped that dog. Poor dog, make he is all matted up again. I have been taking Willie to Rio's Pet Spa for over 12 years. He goes once a week now, when he was younger he would go twice a week. He always knows when Saturday rolls around and looks forward to seeing his friends at the spa. The best reaction is when I go pick up and he does not want to leave. The staff has always been great with him and I highly recommend Rio's.

Rios Pet Spa is the best place I’ve ever used for dog grooming. My dog looks forward to going. The owner Patricia is personable and warm, professional and all of the groomers do meticulous work. I can’t say enough about them! The best!

Rio’s is at the top of their game. The staff is so incredible and caring with my dogs. They treat them like their own. The place is always clean and my dogs always come home happier and washed and groomed like a superstar. I live that I can always check in on line to see photos of my dogs playing and the place is always clean and someone is always watching our 4 legged loved ones. Way to go Rio’s, you guys are doing an excellent job and really know your stuff. Keep up the great work!!! I took my roommate's dog here for the first time to get groomed and it will definitely be the last time. The groomer has no idea what they are doing. Upon picking up the dog I noticed she had a bald spot on the tail and when I asked what happened the owner said it was because she had knots. Now I know that there is a special comb to take them out. But I proceeded to pay her anyway. In a matter of hrs. the poor dog had red blistery skin and couldn't stop scratching. I had to go and buy a special ointment and collar to keep her from scratching. My roommate went back the following day and all he got was a sorry. We didn't get reimbursed for such a lousy job and had to end up paying an extra $30 for the medicine afterwards. NOT ACCEPTABLE !!!! In the 10 yrs. we have had her no one has ever cut her this bad. I was furious. What was supposed to be good for the dog turned out to be a nightmare.

I’ve brought my pup there twice and I’ve never had an issue. She returns healthy and happy every time. The owner is excellent ???? ????????You can tell she is passionate about animals and loves what she does. I’m confident knowing my pouch is safe while I’m out of town with Rio pet spa.
