First and ONLY vet Pusspuss has ever visited. Let’s just say Pusspuss isn’t a very friendly cat at all, but I’m so glad I chose Dr. Bernstein as her primary doctor. I watched her receive her check up from Dr.Bernstein in complete amazement the way she allowed him to check all areas of her body and not one time did she become aggressive. She literally knew she was in good hands, and felt the love and care Dr. Bernstein and Karen had to offer. Recently, I had to make the heart breaking decision of putting my best friend of 13 years to sleep. I literally grew up with my cat from 12 years old to 25. Without Karen, losing Pusspuss would’ve left us in a very dark confused space. With Karen’s concern and help, I was able to act swiftly and from a place of confidence when taking her to a emergency hospital. All lab work and x-rays were reviewed at the hospital and with Dr.Bernstein, where we were able to make the hardest but best decision to send my baby away peacefully. I just want to say thank you Dr.Bernstein and Karen, for creating a space where people who truly love their pets can feel comfortable, heard, and truly thought of. Thank you for the comforting condolences card as well sent with Pusspuss and us on your mind, it was truly appreciated.❤️

Amazing experience! Very understanding doctor, explains thoroughly and doesn’t recommend any unnecessary product. Took his time to read over my dogs history before the visit and was well informed about her needs and previous issues. His wife, Karen, is a joy to talk too. Very helpful, tons of patience when explaining the recommendations give by the doctor. They both love animals and you can tell from the moment you walk in. Super gentle with my baby. We’ve been searching for a veterinarian such as Dr. B for a long time and I wish we would have found him earlier. He is a compassionate and knowledgeable doctor with years of experience in both conventional and holistic medicine. Unfortunately traditional medicine doesn’t tend to look at the body as a whole and this is not always the most effective approach. Dr. B’s perspective in treating our beloved dog is both scientific and comprehensive. His and Karen’s ( his assistant) compassion and optimism has given us hope and encouragement in dealing with a difficult disease. We feel fortunate that fate brought us to Natural Holistic’s door.

After a horrible experience at Pets & Vets in Miami Beach that left my cat medicated FOR NO REASON and left her worse than we started with, I knew we needed help from a REAL vet that actually cares. Dr Bernstein and Karen were great. He clearly knows what he's doing. He sat with our cat on his lap as we talked and I know that we are now in good hands. We just started working with them and I am confident that they can help our cat Sofia. I will make sure to come back with a follow up review once our kitty is 100%. Showed up with my sick cat hit the ring button and the lady who answered was very rude and almost gave me the impression that I was at the wrong place! I said is this a vet or a car repair shop! I would never even consider this place again! I’ll spend elsewhere!

An encounter with Dr B & Karen is like a visit with friends in your living room. His approach is one of gentleness & peace; my dogs aren’t uncomfortable, & even anxious owners can draw a sigh of relief. But beneath Dr B’s relaxed ambiance & demeanor lies an enormous reservoir of medical expertise. Even by using his powers of observation alone, it’s amazing what he can gather just by watching my dog move about the room. His holistic approach is exactly what I am looking for. The variety of treatments offered by this practice is comprehensive & causes me to feel that no matter what the issue, Dr. B has it covered. Holistic Health center approached our case from a completely natural way and saw my dog in her real herself. I am so lucky to have found Dr. Bernstein! He is so caring and genuine. I used a conventional vet until now and I like that Dr. Bernstein uses both conventional and holistic approaches. There are conditions that only a holistic vet can diagnose and treat. Had I realized that beforehand, my cats would not have undergone unnecessary costly and painful procedures and surgeries. My conventional vets simply were at a loss as to what was ailing my cats. Dr. Bernstein quickly assessed the situation and gave much needed relief to my cats and in such a compassionate manner.

The experience and knowledge that they have here is great. I have taken my cats and dogs here for services for years.

I just wanted to thank both Karen and Dr. B for today, they sure do have something magical going on there. My boys loved every minute of being outside and playing with the band. I can already tell Lauren feels a million times better.

Dr Bernstein is the best vet I have ever known. He has treated all five of my dogs for many years. They all loved him and he extended their lives even when they were seriously ill. Karen his wife is also wonderful. The environment that the dogs go into is a warm and friendly place with no fear. My dogs raced to see Karen and Dr Bernstein. He is masterful , knowledgeable and humble as only the truly great are. I recommend him highly without reservation.

They are the best holistic veterinarian you can find anywhere. They are very sensitive and caring with my cat, and explaine everything to me. You'll be very happy!

Very good attention and very friendly

I had to change 4 Top Vet places in Miami (because nothing got really done other than paying lots of money) to finally find this treasure. Dr. Bernstein has a profound knowledge in holistic and homeopathic care, its the best you can give to your pet! Both Karen and Larry took their time to listen to my dogs story, our daily family life and to gain my dogs trust. Dr. Larry was able to already get the right picture and understood some main issues to start him on a homeopathic remedy. And this is only the beginning. If you love your pet you won't find a better place than here, your pet will be treated with love, compassion and with no hassle. We have used Dr. Bernstein for the care of our cats since 2004. We could not have asked for a more caring, compassionate veterinarian. His level of expertise in holistic and conventional treatments is unsurpassed. it will be a sad day for us when he decides to retire.

In the 30+ years that I've owned dogs (or they've owned me) I have never come across a veterinarian more caring and compassionate than Dr. Bernstein. I met him and his wife, Karen, when my elderly shih tzu was having health issues. Under their care his health and quality of life significantly improved. After he died (at 16 1/2) both Doc and Karen called us several times just to see how we were doing. I'm happy to be a client again, with a puppy who loves to visit the vet. I can't recommend them highly enough.

They offer the best, most compassionate care possible. It is without a doubt that my 17 year old diabetic cat's life is more comfortable thanks to their care. I am very grateful.

Dr. Bernstein saved my Malamute. He had a nasal fungal infection which regular vet care and very expensive antifungal medications did not get rid of. Dr. B was caring, detailed, and intuitive in his care. I saw the proof of his methods. With his care and natural holistic methods, my pup made it to 14 years of age.

Five stars is not enough for Dr Bernstein; both him and his wife are beyond amazing. After months of really bad GI issues, the vet we worked with before in Coconut Grove told us that they had no idea what Astro (Cavalier King Charles) had and maybe we should consider operating (without a diagnostic). He was under a year then. I quickly researched and contacted Dr B and after the first visit, his GI issues improved dramatically. Within a few months, they ceased to exist. We’ve been with them for about a year and a half and every time we walk in my dog gets really excited and jumps on their laps to shower them with kisses. They are easily accessible, it’s personalized attention, they possess a WEALTH of knowledge that I have not seen with any other vet, everything they do comes from the heart and from their passion of caring for animals, they get on the floor to play with Astro (while they check him) making it a game, they will take one patient at a time and are always on time, and they will never up-sell you things you don’t need. I could go on and on.... They are truly holistic and have the pup’s best interest at heart. Astro and I LOVE them.

Dr. Bernstein and Karen are two of the kindest individuals that I have ever met! They truly care about the health of your pet and work with you to do the best for them. After spending hundreds of dollars taking my German Shepherd, Logan, to traditional vets for chronic diarrhea and having nothing work, I decided to try out a holistic veterinarian. I was amazed. Dr. B and Karen sat with me for an hour and listened about the issues we have had, and examined everything about Logan. After just two visits, the treatment they suggested, and a new raw diet they also recommended, Logan's diarrhea is no more! I am so happy I found them and would trust them 100% with all of my pets' health.

I have been see Dr. Bernstein for 17 years . I can't imagine seeing any other holistic vet ever ! He has treated my standard poodles for everything cancer , CHF , DM, fertility issues and the everyday stuff . My poodles are champions, do agility and obedience. There is no vet better then Dr. Bernstein.

The customer care was nasty even years ago. I'm actively looking a holistic vet that is aligned and compassionate--not cold and defensive.

In my search for a holistic vet for our dog that has cancer I found this gem of a place. I called to see what type of treatments they offer and immediately was rushed off the phone and told to visit the website for info and pricing. I went to the website and it doesn't have any pricing, very unorganized looks like it was made many years ago. I called back and asked for some assistance because I couldn't find the info on their website as I was told. The doctors wife got short and sounded annoyed with me because I was trying to get information about their business. Not the type of people or place I would want to take my family member (our dog) to in time of need. I want to deal with compassionate people and these people are not compassionate at all.

The Dr. and his wife are the most passionate animal people I've been around.....He combines a natural holistic approach as well as more traditional remedies if needed. When you know the people treating your dog truly care about the well being of the animal the entire experience is much more encouraging.
