Jonesville Animal Hospital Newberry, Florida

I recently moved 2 hours away from the Newberry area and I travel back to Jonesville all of the time. The level of care and service they provide to our pets are only an example of how much they truly love animals. I have looked for other animal clinics and Jonesville absolutely stands out and is the only vet clinic I believe truly gives you the most amazing experience. Thank you to all of the phenomenal Dr's atthis clinic you are al truly a blessing to this community.

I have never had an experience with a vet like I have at Jonesville. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been incredibly friendly and supportive. Not to mention accommodating and attentive to my pup. They were informative and upfront about any costs. I did not get a surprise bill at the end of the visit. My pup needed some serious dental surgery and I was so anxious. The staff made me feel totally at ease and took amazing care of my pup. When I picked her up, I could tell she had been cared for and loved when she was scared and uncomfortable. I’ve never spent that much money on something and come away feeling like it was worth every dime. Also, I just love that they call for pet pick up over the intercom - like you’re in elementary school getting to go home early. So great and it cracked me up.

After 20+ years with another highly-rated Veterinarian practice, I noticed a significant decline in service. This prompted me to ask around and several people suggested Jonesville Animal Hospital. I have now been twice and could not be more impressed! The staff is very friendly and accommodating, even when you are running late :-| The Technicians are very knowledgeable and I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Davey. He is very knowledgeable, patient, kind, and eager to address your concerns. He spent a tremendous amount of time during both visits answering all of my questions and making recommendations. I am so glad I found Dr. Davey and Jonesville Animal Hospital. Would highly recommend!

About a year ago I was recommended to the Jonesville Animal Hospital while dealing with a senior dog that was going through his last traumatic stages and their professionalism and thoughtfulness definitely brought us comfort. I since transferred my other dogs care there and the care was consistent and thoughtful. I lost another dog last week and I was reminded it is in these times how thankful I am at how lovely these folks truly were not only at the end, but throughout my pup's care.

If you are looking for the BEST animal hospital in town.. look no longer! I took my kitten here after getting her from the shelter and it has been a pleasure to take her ever since! Everyone is extremely nice and professional. My vet was Dr. Davey and he is so gentle with my cat I feel like could trust him and his team with my eyes closed. 10/10 wish I could give this place more stars

I do not understand why this vet is rated so well. We took two of our dogs here pretty regularly. Any time they were sick, they wouldn't tell us what they thought was wrong... even an educated guess or warnings on what it could be, just always an "I don't know. " We would pay for tests that would always be inconclusive, then say we need to do more tests. One of our dogs ended up dying at our house from something that seemed like a seizure, when we called to ask if we could bring him in while he was seizing since they were close to us, they told us they were about to close... just said to go to an animal hospital that was miles away. Our other dog began having regular stomach pains and nausea. They told us all they could do was try an ultrasound that was way too expensive for us to afford at the time (again, no educated guesses on what could be wrong, nothing). We decided to wait it out since the price was too steep for us. He got better each time. The third time, he got worse, and this time we took him to a different place. This new place charged a very reasonable price for the ultrasound and actually gave us a list of things that might be wrong beforehand that helped us weigh our options and feel like we were in good hands. They prescribed medications to help with nausea and pain and called regularly to check in on him. Turns out he had cancer that had spread to most of his organs by the time he got the ultrasound. I understand it's tough being a vet with expensive services that might/might not help, but providing absolutely NO solutions or suggestions is absolutely ridiculous. This place might be great with the regular day to day stuff, but if you actually have anything wrong with your pet, I recommend switching vets ASAP. Update: Just to be clear, the owner below says we might have them confused with someone else, that is definitely not the case. I'd seriously recommend not going here, go to Shore's Animal Hospital. We've taken out puppy there for the past few months and they have been phenomenal. To the owner: I was not the registered name, my boyfriend was. We don't care to discuss anything with you, we tried, as I said before, your staff told us to go to a different hospital. We didn't feel like you or your staff cared about our dogs at all and that's shameful for a vet's office. I just hope you make some changes so other pet owners don't have to go through what we did.

I must preface this by mentioning that I have not been there in a year or two as we moved away from Gainesville. However, I can't speak well enough about this place! From the office staff to the vets, this place is truly focused on keeping your pet healthy and comfortable. They are welcoming and I have never had a bad experience at this place. Dr. Vliet has seen both my elderly dogs and was amazing every time. From teeth cleanings, to a cystotomy to remove my dog's bladder stones... you can tell they really care about the animals that come in. It has been hard finding a vet office that I trust as much as them!

I cannot say enough good things about Jonesville Animal Hospital and about Dr. Villa! I have been bringing my dog here since she was a 2 month old puppy, and I have never looked back. My dog genuinely loves Dr. Villa and the staff at JAH because they have created such a positive and fun environment for her. It has gotten to the point that when I pull into the Jonesville parking lot, my dog gets super excited because she knows exactly where she is and she wants to hurry inside because she just loves her vet appointments. Aside from the positive experience, the staff at Jonesville are knowledgeable and caring. My dog Nellie is followed by Dr. Villa who is AWESOME! She is incredibly knowledgeable and answered all the numerous questions I had about raising my puppy. Similarly, when my dog had eye complications, the entire staff were very quick to follow up with me and guide me on my next steps. I am honestly jealous because I think my dog gets better quality of healthcare than me LOL but I love knowing that my baby is in great hands! I recommend Jonesville Animal Hospital to anyone who wants their pet to get high quality healthcare and a positive experience!

Entire staff is caring and compassionate. They work with me being on fixed income and the follow-up is beyond anything I ever expected. They care for my pet as much as I do.

Our cats ran out of prescription for flea treatment so I called the nearest vet nearby. Jonesville Vet Clinic was able to schedule my cat an appointment the next day. They are very responsive to prevent Covid-19 in their clinic, limiting one parent at one time. They also have Apple Pay which I like, I forgot my wallet that day due to rush and I had called my husband to come bring me my wallet, but I was able to use my phone to pay instead. I just love businesses who adopt technology updated! The vet was very nice and helpful, my kitty told me he was nice and gentle doing examinations! We got our flea treatment prescription on time. We purchased from Chewy.com, they were quick in response to Chewy.com so our prescription shipped the next day. I just love businesses who are responsive on time. I have to say although this seemed to be the minimum requirement for running a business, such quality is rare to find today. Our prescription ran out of date with the other vet clinic that I took my cats to previously. They didn’t even bother telling us it ran out of date.....I put their contact info on my chewy.com prescription order first.One week went by, they didn’t even bother responding to Chewy’s fax or phone call. I called them several times then they told me they were unable to prove the prescription because they haven’t seen my cats within one year...... I then went to schedule with Jonesville vet clinic. Well, I am glad that I found a vet clinic that has their business together and responsive on time. I will be taking my cats to Jonesville vet clinic from now on.

Dr. Davey is wonderful! His love of animals is evident. He has cared for our rescue, Chewy and more recently our new rescue, Juno and we couldn't be more happy. The staff is always so kind as well. If you have a dog that is scared of the vet, give Dr. Davey a try. His sweet and calm demeanor make such a difference.

My wife and I have been taking our older dog here for a number of years and our new puppy just had her second appointment today. The service has always been great. Lindsay in particular has gone above and beyond what her job requires in terms of providing fantastic customer service and making things easier for both us and our puppy. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Lerman and her staff are incredible. They are kind and welcoming to both the client and the pet. Dr.Lerman is thorough and extremely knowledgeable, so you are confident that your pet is in excellent hands. My cat was bitten by another cat and developed a serious infection and ended up being in the hospital for 7 days. I cannot emphasize enough the professionalism and service of Dr. Lerman and her staff. They went above and beyond in making certain that our cat is getting all the attention and care he needed. They also kept us informed every step of the way. If you are looking for a vet that knows their business and cares about your pet, I highly recommend Jonesville Animal Hospital.

This is my favorite animal hospital of all the years I have had animals-which is many. Compassionate and efficient caring for my dogs and cats in all circumstances-my animals are rescue so several can be a challenge to work with. I would not use any other animal hospital.

Can't say enough good things about Jonesville Animal Hospital and all of their vets. We have three dogs and are there quite frequently and never cease to receive the absolute best care. They treat our dogs like their own and it is so much appreciated.

Jonesville Animal Hospital staff have lovingly taken care of our dogs since we moved to Newberry. Our bichon, Snowball, had a lot of medical issues during his life, but we knew he was getting the best possible care. It was as though he was a member of their family. When he passed, they wrapped him in a quilt and cried with us.

We love this vet's office! They've taken great care of our pit bull when he's gotten sick. Reasonable prices and easy to get an appointment.

Jonesville Animal Hospital is fantastic! As the owner of a dog and many cats, I've used a number of vets over the years, a number of which I was not impressed with, but I absolutely love this place. Most of my interactions have been with Dr. Lerman and Dr. Davey, and they are both kind, compassionate, dedicated, and really listen to the pet owner. One of my cats was seriously ill in 2017, and Dr. Lerman saved his life, even coming in on her days off to check on him and giving me her cell phone number to call if I had questions. The vets call quickly with test results and respond quickly to medication refill requests. The office staff are also friendly and helpful. They even called me proactively to warn me about a shortage on a prescription food I needed and recommend several websites that might have it in stock. I would recommend this place to anybody who loves their pets!

The people who works here are amazing! Truly friendly and helpful information on the topic at hand! Kathy and the rest of the team members was super nice and my dog loves them! Thanks again for getting one of the family members back on track to a healthy life!

We have used Jonesville Animal Hospital through the lives and old age deaths of two boxers and now again with the two new family members English Bulldogs...We trust Dr Vleit implicitly and the other vets in the practice have also done great work when Dr V was unavailable for scheduleing reasons! I have now used this practice for 7 years. We tried two other practices prior to finding this great group! The vets in the Jonesville Animal Hospital are knowledgeable, kind, calm, and caring. The staff members are well trained, capable, timely and very helpful! I give this practice a five star rating and I am a very picky animal owner!! MARILYN AND BILL DEAS

Great place to take your sick ones

Great vet clinic. Very friendly staff and they seem to care about you AND your animals. If you are ordering a refill on pills make sure you do it a day in advance, they do not do same day pick up on medications.

They love our pets! Kind. Compassionate, and great doctors!!

Dr Lerman, Dr Vliet and Dr Davies are all wonderful veterinarians who treat their patients with utmost care. They work like a well oiled machine taking care of our high maintenance 4 dogs. They get better care than us humans get with our doctors. They make calls late into the evening to discuss what they found out earlier in the day. We often drop ours off so they may not see us face to face. If we choose we can have appointments face to face anytime. We trust them implicitly!

One of the best to take a animal for health needs. I have been showing dogs for over 40 years and the Vets there are, without question, some of the best I have ever encountered.

We were so fortunate to find Jonesville Animal Hospital years ago after a referral from a friend. We had 5 pets and really wanted quality and continuity of care. The caring concern starts at the front desk and continues thru the whole visit with caring, compassionate techs and doctors. If I could give the 100 star rating it would still not be high enough. Once you go to Jonesville Animal Hospital you will get the best care possible for your pets and you will make some great friends with all the staff!
