Transferred my pets care to newberry. They are kind and caring when it comes to the well being of my fur baby.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION We take our dogs to Newberry Animal Hospital at the Newberry location. Very rarely when we need to schedule our dogs for vaccines or check ups and we end up going to this location. All of our experiences have been poor. I’ll start most recently when we brought our dog here for her anxiety medication for travel. Previously she was on a different medication which she had no issue with - this was prescribed at Shores Animal Hospital (we moved to Newberry which is the only reason we switched vets). For whatever reason, 39th Newberry animal hospital can’t access her records from Shores so they recommended a different combo of meds for our dog. THIS COMBO OF MEDS CAUSED HER TO HAVE A SEIZURE. This was on Dec. 31 after arriving home from an 8 hour drive. I don’t say this lightly, I’m writing this review after getting her blood work back and speaking to several other vets and vet techs who said the combo of meds prescribed was not ideal. It seems that the vet we saw at this location simply wanted to rack up the bill from our visit as high as possible and so prescribed and recommended as many things as possible in order to do that. Several years ago this same dog broke her leg. She was rushed to this location where they set and bound her leg. They bound it too tightly and which caused an infection that ATE AWAY AT HER LEG. They’re response was lackluster - they didn’t care, just rebound her leg and took off a portion of her bill. She still has the huge scar and issues with the leg to this day as the infection ate into her muscle. Please reconsider taking your dog here. They don’t care about you or your animal, just the money they get from you.

I want to shout out not only Newberry Animal hospital as a whole, but 3 individuals!! For starters, I found out my dog needed emergency surgery, they got us in for an extra the very next day!! Dr. Lebo and her technician Gaby were wonderful with working with my pet to insure his was comfortable! Elizabeth (a receptionist) was very responsive and reached out to me to see how the process was going to get the funding for my baby!! I will be taking my fur baby there and nowhere else!! If you need to take a pet there, I definitely recommend this hospital!

The staff and doctors are sooo patient, sweet, and knowledgeable! I trust them with our pets and recommend Newberry Animal Hospital to all pet mommy and daddy's! All of their locations are equally wonderful!

These guys keep track of my cat’s health better than my doctor keeps track of mine! Very impressed.

These place is great we have used them for 11 years. They do drop off and they will give your dogs a bath. Dogs always come back happy and healthy.

Caring, attentive staff that truly cares

Dr. Fletcher was so kind and gentle with my dog. She took time to make sure my little girl was comfortable. My dog didn’t even seem to notice she was getting vaccinated. Thank you!

Dr Fletcher and all the staff at Newberry Animal Hospital are truly wonderful. They are so patient with all my pets, taking the time to greet them and warm them up to them. Always professional, kind and responsive. The administrative staff and the techs are welcoming and respond to my emails asking for appointments and answering questions. I’ve always left happy and feeling that my pets got the very best care.

Been with them for over 30 years and they are there when I need something. This is some of my baby that they take care of, when the cats will let them. Topaz and Tucker came from them as a baby. Thank you for all you do for me.

My wife and I bring our dog here, as it’s our main vet. However, we had to bring in our 4 year old cat, which I rescued as a kitten, in for examination due to lack of appetite and labored breathing. We had take her to an urgent care the previous night but had her taken here the next morning. She was on oxygen and the vet, Dr. Shah is who helped us during the entire process. She took great care of us and our cat. Eventually, it came down to having to put her down due to a poor prognosis and having some kind of lung disease. It came out of nowhere so we are shocked and in disarray during it all. But we left Newberry feeling fine with our decision due to the knowledge and testing this place gave our precious cat.

The absolute best vet clinic I’ve been to in 12 years. We went between this location and the one on Main Street depending on appointment times/days available for the last 5 years. Everyone is always so nice and accommodating! We recently moved to Texas and I had an issue with the new vet and my cat… I called this office asking for opinions, and a vet tech spoke to me on the phone, explained things, and calmed my nerves. I was so thankful and so appreciative. You won’t find a better place for your furbabies!!

I always have a great experience with Newberry Animal Hospital! It’s never hard to get an appointment, often in the same day. I have an anxious dog, but her appointments are always fast and easy. The staff is wonderful and very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Nothing but class! From our first phone call to our most recent visit, always friendly. They truly care about your fur babies, as if they were their own. Their Doctors, Techs and Staff offered warm welcomes and calm demeanors to our newest, albeit it nervous, furry addition. Our puppy had the best experience; he fell asleep on the exam table he felt so relaxed ☺️ Their prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for the outstanding care you and your kiddos receive.
