Country Oaks Animal Hospital New Port Richey, Florida

Country Oaks Animal Hospital was the only place that could help me get my dog his shots without astronomical costs.

Very friendly and very clean place.

They saved my little Minnie life she almost died when I got there but they never gave up on her and still aren't I will never go anywhere but here I trust them 100 percent sweet staff and doctors ❤️

They were wonderful! They took the time out of their busy schedule to take care of my 18 year old chihuahua mix when my own vet told me to take him to Tampa to an emergency vet. He was bleeding from his mouth and I couldn't tell from where. He had injured his eye and mouth. They took such great care of him and I thank them so much. I use to go there and moved but they still had my records and I still had credit on my account from 2012! Awesome people!

Very compassionate staff. The facility is clean and very organized. Prices are very fair and they are not pushy on selling optional procedures. I have brought in 3 of my animals so far and have had nothing but good experiences each time.

Dr. Salazar & her team were very compassionate when we had to make the hard decision to say goodbye to our dog Zeus. They showed empathy and allowed us the time we needed for our final goodbyes. Someone even gave up their own breakfast to share with him. I highly recommend this animal hospital where the Dr's & team truly care about their patients!!

They literally saved the life of my best friend, Hank Williams Freedman when a kidney stone almost killed him. These are loving folks with great expertise and care.

I was there today with Bella, Mary was our tech she was wonderful with Bella, and was very informative. Dr. Salazar was very nice and checking out with Virginia was fast and she was friendly. All three are super awesome and would recommend them....

The staff at Country Oaks Animal Hospital was very caring, kind and overall wonderful during a sad time for my family. We miss our Rocky, but they made the transition for us easier. We will definitely continue using them for our future pet needs.

Bronson & Zoe have been going to see the amazing doctors here for over 11 years. From yearly visits, scratched corneas, kidney stone surgery, teeth cleanings/extractions and more recently, pinched nerve issues, I would not trust ANYONE else with my furry kids medical care. Every single staff member is friendly, and you can tell they truly care about you and your pet. During surgery they call to reassure you everything is ok, they follow up days after, and I've never had an issue scheduling an appointment. Dr. Richmond & Salazar are AMAZING. I moved to Tampa and still drive on hour each way for them to take care of my elderly pets. I wouldn't trust any one else!

The staff is very professional, and the place is clean , just was disappointed that I didn't get to see the exam done nor any shots to be administered

Only reason I knocked off a star is because the wait was rather long. I showed up a few minutes early for my appointment, and ended up waiting a good 45 mins (give or take) until we were seen. I understand that there can be emergencies and such, so I'm not too bothered by it, but it kinda puts a dent in my day to have to carve out that much extra time for a vet appointment. All in all, everyone was really kind, patient, and answered all of our questions--from reception to the dr. The prices are a bit higher than some other vets, but they have constantly shown how good they are at what they do so it makes sense. This is certainly a case of getting what you pay for, and what you pay for is quality care. I used ScratchPay for this particular visit to help with the cost of things, and it was a smooth process. Looking forward to returning with my other pets.

Best care around. We have 4 dogs and some are very anxious and can be difficult to handle, however that has never shown to be a problem or concern for the members of Country Oaks. They care for our pets like they are their own, and take steps to make my dogs experience as positive as possible every visit. Recommend to any pet owner, absolutely the best from reception to kennel care.

Front desk staff was VERY kind. Our cat was having an emergency and they managed to get us seen right away, The entire staff was very caring and sympathetic. Loved our experience! Our kitty cat is doing well now and feeling all better!

I was a new patient and brought my german shepherd puppy Zephyr in for his first shots and absolutely loved this place. The vet tech git down on the floor and played with him and was just so nice to us. Our vet was so nice too checking my puppy over thoroughly and she was so gentle with him. I highly recommend going here and I will be back. Thank you❤

I didn't leave there wishing that something was done. I am extremely happy with the care my fur-baby received and all the information that was given to me as to what was going to be done and why. Love the staff - very happy, caring, patient, and they love what they do. I love what they do.
