I took my 8 week old puppy and he was worse when I left. Upon arrival he was obviously dehydrated they said blood sugar level was low. Ran up a 300.00 bill gave him a ridiculous amount of needless medication.. He was vomiting when I left and Immediately took him back in…….They proceeded to tell me they were not a 24 he clinic. First quote was at 240.00 then kept going up and never even solved the problem. I understand that all can’t be fixed but an honest opinion would have been great. I wish I had a different outcome but my precious puppy passed and I am beyond heartbroken ????

I am so disappointed with the quality of service I received. I came in for a health certificate 7 days before traveling and never received my original stamped copy I needed for travel. Just be aware they don’t know how to do a health certificate from filling it out to sending it off to USDA. West bird animal hospital if you don’t know what your doing don’t do it. Take the service off your list. All that time and money wasted could’ve been avoided. They aren’t reliable. DO NOT GO HERE. Save yourself the trouble and money.

Best place ever! Totally loved it I'm so grateful I was recommend to them. My dog was treated with love and kindness exactly what you would expect for your loving pet. Also very informative as to what my dog has and how to help him recover from his tumor and abcess. I can't say enough about how totally satisfied I am. God bless all those who are there and all who are in the field of caring for sick animals and actually care about them....Thank you sooo much!!

I go further away to this vet because in the past he brought in an orthopedic surgeon to operate on my cat whos leg got bitten by a dog and was chattered, requiring pins for all the bones to set right. GreaT job on that one. Its expensive, but this time, xray was not fixed as they thought for another cat that is losing weight, and I wasted my trip over there. Had to reschedule. Not happy about that.

Great service. Only minutes in waiting room. Appointments are spaced out for social distancing. Everyone has masks. Affordable and ethical service. Staff is polite. Vet is kind and professional. My brother has been taking his pets here for 20 years and I know why. I got tired of going to my nearby vet because they are so unprofessional. The distance is not a problem because the service is so good. Totally worth it.

I took my cat because she had a problem in her eyes. After two days, she got worst and I have to take her again so the Dr. change the medicine. I thought that I didn't need to pay because the medicine that he recommended before was not the correct one and actually my cat got worst but no, they charge everything again with no sympathy at all. I do not recommend this place.

Dr. Martínez was recommended by a friend. We have a 13 1/2 yr old Maltese and, for the past three years, since the vet she had from birth could no longer take care of her, we’ve been searching for a new vet to take care of our elderly CHLOE. We were very impressed with Dr Martinez and his staff, their professionalism and care. Dr. Martinez took care of Chloe and we could tell he is a doctor who really loves his patients and is very knowledgeable. We have finally found the veterinary perfect for our Chloe. Best vets in the Miami area...great service and 1 of the only vets where my dog actually just walks in and is not nervous or scared to be inside of...before this place it was like taking a kid to the dentist..jajajaja... Great people good service a bit on the high side on price but it's worth the service structure they have constructed... Thanks guys

My Prince William (English Bulldog) and Princess Diana (our adorable mix breed) have been in the care of Dr. Martinez and the entire staff at Westbird Animal Hospital since they came to be part of our family. We have only the nicest things to say about the care and love they provide to our fur babies. Dr. Martinez possesses the kindest touch with all the pets, and his knowledge is clearly expressed through the quality of service he provides.

Dr. Martinez has always been amazing and good with my pet, however the groomer he has is super unprofessional. I've just picked him up and he is not evenly cut, he has strands of random hairs under his belly and it was a poor grooming job …

I feel compelled to leave a review for this hospital. His staff are professional, compassionate and attentive. Dr. Martinez is an excellent veterinarian, was so kind. I can see he has passion for what he does. In my experience he went above and beyond to help my cat. I would absolutely recommend him and his wonderful staff with your pet. Kitty thanks you. ????

Dr. Martinez is amazing, my dog loves him and going into his office he is not a nervous mess, he feels very comfortable there. Dr. Martinez has saved my dogs life on two separate occasions and I will not take my dog anywhere else. Highly recommend this place to all my friends and neighbors.

I have been taking my cats to Dr. Martinez for over 20 years. The staff has always been wonderful and they all really like their jobs and our animals. I cannot say enough about Dr. Martinez. His gentleness and patience with my cats really showed that he loves animals. He has the sweetest way with them and it really puts them at ease. My last cat was so relaxed he thought he was having a "spa day". It made our vet trips much less stressful as he really seemed to enjoy being cared for by the doctor. I also took many strays and feral cats for different ailments and Dr. Martinez always helped me out financially with them. I love this place!

I was desperately looking for a vet to give me a second opinion on and treat one of my kitties which had a tumor in his mouth without charging me an arm and a leg. Dr. Martinez and his entire staff showed themselves to be very compassionate, friendly and reasonable when it comes to treatment costs. I have brought two of my other kitties since and both have been cured from whatever ailments they had when I brought them in. Dr. Martinez and his two other vets and their attendants are all very friendly and attentive and care for our pets as much as us. I highly recommend Westbird Animal Hospital.

Worst cat grooming I've ever experienced. When I asked Dr. Martinez what happened to my cat's ear, he responded "it got nicked during grooming, so we applied an anticoagulant". There was no sincere apology that followed & It wasn't even mentioned until I asked what happened during her physical exam. I still ended up paying full price for their mistake.
