The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. They are only after your money they will refuse service unless you pay 500 before you even sign in your name. The girl doctor is the worst.

I used to take my puppy Aston to this clinic, before joining VCA, everything has changed, the prices are outrageous, now they even give him checks without counting on the owner. The other day I took my pet and for a dental cleaning, They …

I never would have thought that when there is a serious problem with my pet I called this vet clinic and they told me they aren’t taking my dog because is not an emergency. How can they say is not an emergency when they haven’t seen my dog. They just told me to call some other vet. How is this clinic 24/7. It is sad to see a company in the same district that voted for me saying this kind of stuff to customers. The values of this company is extremely visible that they do not care for our pets. This clinic should be extremely Not Passionate. For sure not recommending this vet for my fellow friends.

Can't say enough about the Dr's, technicians, and all of the staff at VCA Knowles Animal Hospital. They saved our beloved Golden Retrieve's life after performing immediate emergency surgery. They cared for him as though he was one of their own. We highly recommend!

I was away and my parents had to take my cat with chronic urinary issues to the vet for inability to urinate. His last time being sick with this he had to be hospitalized with a catheter to remove the blockage of crystals so naturally we were concerned when this happened again. I had never established care here before but it was an emergency. He was immediately attended to. Blood work, urinalysis, xrays done with a diagnosis and treatment all in under 2 hours before heading home. I can understand the concern with vets being expensive but I thought it was fairly priced for being attended to quickly and having lab results fast.

Front desk is horrible. Don’t want to work. Unprofessional KIDS. Change your front desk to people that want to work and help.

Unfortunately Google doesn't offer the option to give "0" stars. Last week I came here recommened by our vet and this was the worst place I could take my dog. AVOID this place! My beloved was dying but they were trying to make money on this situation. When I got the clinic the first think I was aksed was to make $500 deposit, I agreed as long as I could stay with my dog but there was no clear answer about that. I left the clinic right away because their business is just about money and not loving the pets that come here. There are plenty of options to take your beloved pet, DO NOT come here, at all costs.

I have taken my dog to Knowles Central for both regular annual check-ups as well as emergency care, and I have been extremely happy with them. They are always kind, professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. We see Dr Abraham, who we love, but when she isn't available, every other vet has always given us excellent care as well.

For our family, all the staff has been wonderful. They are always available for us to see Kira. Dr. Wise is the best Doctor I have ever met, he has had incredible patience. Anabella, who is Kira's nurse, always keeps us update and sends us photos to know that she is well. Bryan too, he always has so much patience to receive us and Maite has explained all bill about Kira.

Lady Penelope has been visiting knowles since i adopted her. She has had two tiplo surgeries that i was beyond worried about. The staff sent me pictures in the middle of the night, remembered her name and took amazing care of her. She has only been to the vet for pretty serious issues and still LOVES to visit. I would pay anything for that kind of care for my dog

Cici was the best person in this clinic and I am so grateful for her passion and love towards the doggies and people. Her aura calmed us, he made us feel safe and taken care off (I’m a new nervous-nelly-dog-mom). Thank you for being so …

We would like to thank Knowles for the care of our dog Princhy. We noticed when she returned home, she was more energetic, eating more, and very alert. We even noticed that she lost some weight which she needed. We will leave her at Knowles next time. We are very pleased for the care and the attempt of the girls who cared for Princhy and every time we called, they were prompt to respond and let us know how she was doing. Thank you Knowles!

To begin, when arriving here, my grandmother expected to be treated with respect and like a normal human being as any client would. She went looking for help for our family kitten. Instead, she was ignored and dismissed because she didn’t not speak English. Not one person at this animal hospital tried to help my grandmother and kitten. After 3 hours of asking and begging for help, they finally contacted someone who spoke Spanish. When finally getting care, my grandma had to pay an arm and a leg for care for our cat and they did not even tell her what they did to him. Our cat came home the next day still feeling sick so we took him to our usual vet which informed us that they had injured his urethra. Our cat Blue, now has been put to sleep due to not being able to urinate. We are devastated by this loss. He was a HEALTHY 2 y/o cat. We go to Knowles Hospital to get help and are ignored, and then they injured his urethra which caused him to not be able to urinate. This is so upsetting. We lost our family friend due to the unprofessionalism and incompetence of this hospital. Please be cautious when going here. And DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT go to Knowles Hospital if you only speak Spanish. I wouldn’t wish this nightmare on anyone.

Knowles should stop calling themselves an emergency facility. They are not capable of performing tests without bringing some equipment from another one of their facilities. It is a meat market and a business. Pets don't matter, only profits do. I have waited 13 months since the death of my dog Moose to write this review. I was a client at Knowles for over 10 years. First in the Kendall office and the last 5 years in the central office. I had three dogs. My first and my companion was Moose. I took my pets religiously for checkups, follow ups, shots, and wellness exams. On June 2020 Moose had her last senior wellness exam. She was 12 years old. According to them she was doing well. Moose was on medication for incontinence, other than that you would never be able to tell her age. Moose was a Silky Terrier, fierce, loving, smart. In May 2020 Moose lost her appetite, started vomiting and having problems going to the bathroom. The first time she vomited I rushed her to Knowles. Her liver enzymes were high. They put her on medication and told me the tests they needed to run required equipment they didn't have in the premises and would be there next week. It seems they share equipment. This is supposed to be an emergency facility. I took Moose home with me. By Sunday Moose took a turn for the worst and I brought her in again. Still no equipment. Moose liver enzymes had doubled. By Thursday my beautiful Moose died in my arms at their facility. They said she had cancer which had spread and fluid had leaked into her brain so she had experienced neurological problems two days before. I visited Moose every day. I called at all hours including midnight. after her death I never went back to Knowles. When I took my two other dogs to a new vet they discovered that the medication Moose had been taking for her incontinence was a for dog almost twice her weight. If you love your pet find a vet who cares. Find a facility which specializes in diagnostic tests. This is the fast food of veterinary clinics. Moose spent the last 4 nights of her life in a cold crate with no human contact.

Outstanding care. The staff here really cares about their animals. It was very evident in more ways that I can mention.

I brought my dog in bc she hurt her leg and was limping. She had a huge bump and they took cells to test what the problem was. I was told the cells results would take 7 business days. It’s been almost two months and response. When I call, I either get hanged up on, or treated disrespectfully. I was told I “need to understand this is a hospital.” My dog is in pain and I’m left waiting. I spent over $400 to get her help with no results.

These guys are absolute life savers, literally! In a late night panic, when all other hospitals were closed, VCA Knowles was open and immediately took my little guy into the ER to treat him despite a backlog of walk ins and appointments. They truly have your pets health and well being top of mind, and will do everything and anything to make them healthy and happy again. I can’t thank everyone here enough for the help and support during a terrifying time. Everyone from the receptionists to the doctors and technicians take the time to accommodate every patient with kindness and expert knowledge no matter how busy and chaotic it gets. I wish I could provide more than a 5 star review, I honestly can’t thank everyone enough. As much as I hope to never return, I know they will be there with open arms. Thank you all again!!!

My puppy got a severe allergic reaction last night and VCA took great care of her. I was very worried because when I called they told me the wait time is about 2 hours, but they took her in immediately! The staff, technicians and doctor were very nice and knowledgeable. It seemed like it was a busy night for them but you can see how much they care about each pet’s health and wellbeing. Very thankful that they saved my baby and were patient with her as she is a lot to deal with lol. Highly recommend visiting them for emergencies.

Always great with my dog. I board him here whenever I go out of town and he is always excited to go. Saying a lot since he is a very anxious dog!

The waiting time is way too long. They do not communicate with you much so you’re just left there waiting wondering what is going on. I came here for an emergency service and waited 4 hours - once i was seen i asked for a heart worm test since i was already there. When i checked out i was incorrectly charged having to do 2 separate transactions. I was then told by my pharmacy i could not fill the heart worm meds bc the vet had no record of a heart work test. They make me an appointment for the test. I waited 2 hours for the test to be done and seen by the doctor. What’s the point of an appointment if you still have to wait behind walk ins ?!? Not only is the wait time unbearable but they prices are ridiculous. I have never spent so much money in a place to receive such terrible service it’s almost like they charge you by the hour to sit there.

If you looked up the definition of compassion you would find the picture of Dr. Brittni Goldberg. During the difficult moment of helping your pet cross the bridge, . . . she was incredible, patient, warm, compassionate, with her hand on my shoulder she helped me help my pet cross over. For the staff, their support and understanding. Thank you, thank you, until next time. God Bless you all!!! Sam thanks you too!!!

these workers have horrible people skills! they do not understand the stress that an owner is under with a pet that is in critical condition. instead of trying to find answers for you, they simply brush you away. they will not update you on your pet even if the pet is in critical condition! the staff is also very disrespectful. on top of that these people are extremely unorganized. you will not get to see your pet if you depend on them calling you. you’re better off going ANYWHERE else but here.
