The people that work here are really nice

Unfortunately not good for cats, in my experience. I do love the place so I would recommend for other pets. I took my cat there a few times for simple check ups, etc, giving it a good chance, but sadly ended up taking them somewhere else. Some very basic (feline) knowledge was missing. My tabby has "lentigo simplex", which is spots around the mouth area, similar to human freckles. This was a surprise to the doctor, who didn't seem to know what it was. He called it "strange". A simple google search shows this is not uncommon at all. Also, my rescue Tabby cat who is 4 years old was wrongly classified by the doctor as an "old cat". I was so alarmed! The confusion was caused by the teeth which simply had tartar. We did a clean up and he declared the cat was indeed a younger cat, but I was upset at his previous insistence about my cat's "old" age. He was very emphatic, but this was wrong and unnecessary. There were other basic issues which sadly caused me to lack confidence in their feline expertise.

We visited this location to assess our family dog regarding quality of life due to long-term medical issues and failing health. Great team and shout out to the vet technician Hannah who went above and beyond to provide as much support and information as possible. RIP Clementine. We love you!

I love this vet clinic! Our two cats and our dog are patients here. Dr. Johnson, Dr. Sánchez, and Nurse Lissette are so knowledgeable and kind. Nurse Lissette always knows just how to calm our pets and administer the treatments as painlessly as possible. They are great with follow-up emails. And price-wise, I find them inexpensive compared to local competitors. Other practices are quick to recommend the most expensive treatments and procedures; that is not the impression we get from this clinic. They truly recommend what is best for the animal given the owner's knowledge of their pet. The doctors' treatment and expertise is unmatched for us! I recommend this clinic to all!

Very poor professional and customer experience. I called on Thursday for an emergency with my dog that was piing blood and I was told that my appointment was on Tuesday and that they were fully booked. I want to mention that we patient with 2 dogs at the clinic. My dog ended having 20 stones in the bladder and never on the annual checks nobody realized that she had the stomach hard. We ended going to an other clinic that accept her and went under surgery successfully. Not the service, response and support you look when you need professional assistance when you are a patient from a clinic. Really frustrated and disappoint. Definitely not going back to Silver Bluff Clinic.

I have been going to this vet clinic almost 20 years now. All of my pets have received quality care. I have always felt comfortable with the staff and Dr. Sanchez has really made a fantastic atmosphere for clients and pets alike. Thank you for everything :)

It's a wonder animal clinic. Everyone that works there is knowledge, caring, and provide wonderful service.

What happened to this place? We have been going here for 5 years + and something over the past year has changed. They use to be so caring but now all we are is a number and a payment. I was crying because I got terrible news about my dog and the blonde woman Dr. was so cold, almost laughing at me. She got nervous and just said I have to go. Wow! In the past this wouldn't have happened. They are very heartless now. I think it's time to find a new Vet.

Homey rustic vibes, friendly and competent staff. We received very fair pricing on oral surgery (multiple teeth) - the total came in at least $500 lower than other vets. We were happy with the results. They have a good selection of food, supplements and medicinal products in office.

Reminds me of a country vet

This vet is the best of the best! My pup and I have visited 4 countries and 7 cities over the last 3 years and I haven’t found a vet better!! I can’t wait to go back to them this weekend. I would move to Miami just to have such incredible pet care so near by. ❤️????✨ thank you for taking care of my heart!

The doctors and staff are exceptional, professional and compassionate.

If I was a dog or if this was a human clinic. This would be the spot I would choose to go. They are professional, caring, and do not push unnecessary medications.

The staff and doctors helped my dear Pepper during the last stages of her 17 year old self. They were incredibly compassionate and helpful through this painful process. They are an extraordinary veterinary clinic that I highly recommend.

I would rate this place ever higher if I could. The staff and the doctor were amazing! We popped in for an international health certificate and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was correct and Roo had everything she needed. If we are ever in Miami again I will go out of the way to come here again.

It was my first time coming here today with my new puppy the Doctor and nurses were all very friendly and answered all my questions. Very affordable as well highly recommended this for you le furry loved one.

I am disheartened in writing this review. My initial experience at Silver Bluff Animal Clinic was unlike any other veterinary office I had been in. It seemed as if my dog didn't even realize he was at the vet until his examination had begun. I was exceptionally satisfied with how my healthy dog's annual examination went. Fast forward and my dog's health declined quickly as he was diagnosed with Stage IV T Cell Lymphoma. It became exceptionally difficult to get e-mail or phone responses from anyone in that office. In the event that the support staff would respond to phone calls or e-mails offering to have one of the vets follow up with us, it became a rare occasion that one did. We e-mailed Dr. Sanchez multiple times in attempts to discuss course of treatment and decision making regarding timelines, end of life services, etc. with no response. As we are now preparing to schedule end of life services for our dog, we have been so disheartened by the inability to get a response from the office and have had to shift what we were hoping to be a peaceful and comfortable goodbye at the Silver Bluff Animal Clinic space. I can say with confidence that I will look elsewhere for veterinary services in the future. Update (5/16/20): After saying goodbye to our best friend and writing this review, Dr. Sanchez did contact my wife. Rather than offer condolences or sentiment regarding the situation, she received questioning of the frequency of our attempted contacts (misrepresented as infrequent, as we called several times in the past week alone speaking to technical staff) and excuses as to why it took longer to get back to us (busy clinic, recent COVID-19 changes ,etc). A simple apology would have been much appreciated.

Bosco has been visiting Silver Bluff for three years now. This place is exceptional. The doctors here actually care about the pets and recommend non invasive options. Dr. Sanchez is the only vet Bosco has ever seen that recommended not removing some cracked teeth - his advice was “if it’s not bothering him, then why pull out teeth unnecessarily.” Their approach, in general, is not to perform surgery unless needed - which is a rarity in today’s “cut for profit” medical community.

Love the doctors in the practice. Just wish they didn’t keep you waiting over 30 minutes for an appointment.

I've only been there a few times for check ups and minor things, but the staff and vets are courteous, and the prices acceptable.

The best animal clinic I’ve ever been!

This is the best animal clinic I've been to anywhere in the world. Everyone who works there is so calm, compassionate and caring. Though my dog doesn't love going to the vet, I know this is the best care he could get.

Man is that vet cute. Service was good, was seen pretty quickly after appointment time. The staff was friendly. Also, the vet was pretty cute lol. And below is a framed picture in the vet office that had me dying.

The staff listens carefully, asks intelligent questions, and explains the reasons for recommendations.

Professional and trustworthy. Would definitely come here again.
