They take extremely long, but did a good job

I decided to take my dog to this groomer since it was very close to my house. It looked clean, had decent reviews and they sounded nice over the phone. They were ok for a few months before the experiences became a nightmare. I have a very anxious 2 year old golden retriever. He does not like to get dried with a blow dryer, gets nervous and is very attached to us as a family. I understand he can be a handful to attend to but if they couldn't handle him they should have told us. Instead, we were told jokingly that he was "crazy" a "wild one" and the face they would put when they saw us come in the door was not welcoming. My dog went well with them the first few months until he did not even want to enter the door! I don't know if they mistreated him at some point for him to act like that or if he can just sense that they did not like him but he resisted entering the "spa" That's a bad sign! There prices fluctuate for add ons since the staff does not communicate. If your dog behaves a bit rambunctious prepare for a price increase. I would drop him off at 7:30 am get a call to pick him up until 3:30 pm at times. They blamed it on his behavior but that's just too long to have a dog there waiting. No water, no pee break. He would come home peeing and dying of thirst! Definitely not "spa" treatment. This is not the place for loving treatment. Sanitary trims were not done correctly. My dog even got a yeast infection in one of his ears from them not drying them! They want small and easy dogs not the big ones or ones with anxiety and more detailed needs. Take your pets who you love and care for elsewhere if you want them to be treated with love and attention. I have cancelled my membership and will go elsewhere. If I can give them 0 stars I would.

okay first of all I tried calling twice to make an appointment and no one answered. Then I called again the next day and no one answered again, I decided to just go to the shop and make an appointment there. Horrible customer service. Second of all, I dropped off my dog at 9:30 AM and got him back at 6:00 PM right before they close. Supposedly they said that they finished at 3:00 PM and sent me a text about it, but I never got a text nor a call and I'm sure they were lying because once I got him and carried him, he was still wet. And the owner had the audacity to give me 20% off when I paid for the grooming. My dog accidentally stepped on his own paw and whined loudly, I'm sure they hurt his paw. He was also very scared when I picked him up, and very thirsty and hungry. I've seen good reviews but me, as a first time client, had a very unpleasant experience.

Accountability matters in a business like grooming. Deviating the conversation to explain your "well-established grooming process" does not address the expectations of the customer regardless on not being 'your standards'. Blaming the pet for being difficult or nervous and not fulfulling your commitment while having the equipment and manpower to do so is beyond comprehension. We wished to give u a second chance but we will move on. Cheers.

I have taken my dog here since 2017. I have never had any issues until a couple months ago the groomer got soap into my dog's eye. I ended up having to spend almost $500 at the vet for medication. I have tried getting in contact with the owner now regarding this for months and have yet to receive a call back. Very disappointed considering I have paid for the Splash & Go for years now and really liked the place.

I leave my dog at 10 am and is 4:12 and they haven't even groomed her yet. Last time they burned her stomach trimming her...The lady tells me if I want my dog early I need the first 3 spots ( like I am supposed to know) Will not use again and I do not recommend.

I took my dog always over there, but the last time I took him to get a bath and a haircut, he came out full of fleas. I literally just had to take him to an bath to remove all the fleas. The was so bad! I’m beyond upset!

Unfortunately I have to write a bad review of this spa for a second time. Ownership had changed and staff as well but it has not helped with the groomers. A while back I stopped using the place when I found out my dog's glands were not being cleaned as they should have been. Realizing that ownership had changed I tried once again.. my dod had some raw spots from the trim that I was not to happy about and a week after the visit had to take my dog to the vet for an ear infection. Turns out groomer did not bother to get the hair out of his ears or clean them. Pet grooming is not just about the shape of the cut and some of these places need to do a lot better.
