Dr Ferran is a very straightforward veterinarian. He will tell you exactly what your pet has and he will present all the options available in a very professional and human way! We recommend him with our eyes closed!

Ok I almost hate to tell you how great this place is - as then everyone is going to rush over there! This is one of the only competent wholistic vets in maimi. Dont wait until you kill your beloved pet by over vaccinating them before you go to this vet who will sort through the recommendations and ease your mind that you're doing right by your pet. I've been to several vets about two problems 1) my toy poodle chokes everytime he drinks h20 & 2) he scratches his muzzel all night. The other vets ea gave me a different diagnoses NONE of which said that some small breeds have collapsed tracheas (and this vet recommended a neck x-ray to find out). I'm not crazy about multiple xrays (for humans OR dogs) but when you need one, get it!!! Im going to stick with this vet and Ill report back to you to let you know how it goes.

Dr. Ferran has brought my 14-year-old mixed long-haired doxie/King Charles back to being a puppy again. She runs and plays and is full of life and I thank Dr. Ferran for his knowledge and expertise in holistic care for my pup, Penny Lane. His staff is over-the-hill with kindest. After several rounds of acupuncture she has the love for long walks again. I highly recommend Ludlam Dixie Animal Clinic.

I started taking my dogs and cats to Dr. Ferran 28 years ago when he was on South Beach. When he moved to Ludlam Dixie Animal hospital... it was clear I would drive to him for my peace of mind and top notch service for all of my animals. His expertise and depth of knowledge naturally, holistically and overall concern for my animals continues to be why I drive an hour. Over the years, eight animals have been patients of Dr.Ferran. I highly recommend Dr.Ferran. I rarely wait for an appointment; the office staff and assistants have always cared for my animals with love.

I was excited to learn that this vet offered holistic and alternative treatments. I went in person on TWO separate occasions to try and get some information or get an appointment to see the doctor for my American Bulldogs hemangiosarcoma. The girl in the front took my information for the doctor to get back to me and I never heard back, even after a follow up phone call. I was very dissatisfied with their lack of interest and care. I am thankful for Dr. Machado at Aussie Animal Hospital he has been taking care of both my dogs since day one and has been treating my American Bulldogs cancer for the past 5 years. Ludlum Dixie Animal Clinic was a waste of time.

Great vet and all around person, Dr. Ferran is amazing at what he does. He gives you straight forward advice and his holistic approach is awesome. His staff are also very knowledgeable and friendly. On top of everything the pricing is great. He offers packages that save tons of money on vaccinations for instance. I will certainly continue to take my two pups here as well as any future pets I own. I will also definitely recommend this clinic to anyone who has a new pet and are looking for a quality vet or have had a bad experience at his or her current vet.

Dr aferren and his staff are phenomenal. For holistic care - wellness checks and when my little girl got very ill he helped so much - and arranged for an immediate appointment with cardiologist that was totally booked and they helped us have more time with our beloved dog . I have seen other patients, a cat and a dog while there and the people told me Dr Ferrens acupuncture treatments got their pets able to walk again ! -

Dr. Ferran doesn't believe in over-medicating your pet and doing unnecessary procedures. He'll take a more natural holistic approach whenever possible and I really like that about him. He takes good care of my babies!!

Dear pet owners: if you are looking for a vet, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Robert Ferran @ Holistic Animal Clinic of Miami (Ludlam Dixie Animal Clinic). We took Rico there today and I was floored by the vets extensive knowledge and practical solutions to his skin problems. Prices are fair, little to no wait, and staff was very kind.

Dr. Ferran and his staff are amazing! They really do care for all the creatures big and small that arrive at the clinic. Very profesional and understanding. I will always be appreciative of how much he has helped me and my dogs. I will always recommend Dr. Ferran to all my friends.

Wait time always under 5 minutes, friendly staff, and a knowledgeable Dr. who does this for the right reasons and really cares about your pet.

Ludlam Dixie Animal Clinic is the greatest! The doctor was very helpful with all the necessary steps I had to take to get my cat back to health. If I had any more questions, I called, and they were happy to help. Customer Service is fantastic, everyone is really nice and sincerely care about their patients and their owners. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
