Deserves 10 stars! I’m so thankful to have brought my cat here. The experience is always pleasurable. Dr. Rivas and the whole staff are attentive, communicative, caring and trustworthy. They act with skill & wisdom and take you & your pet’s best interest at heart. There aren’t enough adjectives to fully describe the level of care they give here. Originally, I went to a different vet who rinsed my wallet, gave my cat 3 different medications within the span of 12 days & told me surgery was the only option to fix my cat’s “constipation”. I found that absurd and looked for a 2nd opinion which led me to Dr. Rivas and I’m so glad it did! He had a completely different opinion and suggested we put my cat on a bland diet first and sent home some anti acid medication. After a few days, he was completely back to normal and we haven’t had a single issue since (this was in August). Do not hesitate to come and give your pet the best experience. They will be in the best hands and the best care! When people love what they do, they do it well. I can confidently say that to be true about everyone at Helpet :)

Very Very Very grateful that this vet office is only a few blocks to my house. They are quick, efficient, tech savvy, and always willing to take a look at your pet. I had a 14 year old cat who got very sick, we suspected pancreatitis - Dr. Rivas gave me a few meds as well as a few cans off Rx Digestive food and within the month she was just about back to her normal self. I honestly can't say enough about their practice. While they handle likely a majority of pet owners in the Mid-town, possibly downtown, and soon to be Wynwood area, they always find time to make time to see your pet if your concerns are grave. I had my cats teeth extracted last year and Dr. Rivas and the staff followed up with an emailed PDF with detailed images of her jaw before and after the surgery. The attention to detail is awesome and I have complete confidence in saying they will never lead you astray. The services are affordable and they are always very upfront and clear about the expected costs (which I have found is difficult elsewhere) Forever grateful Helpet!! I have already recommended you to some of my neighbors and will continue to do so! 5 thousand stars! You deserve it!

they accept apple pay +++ they’ve done a great job of taking care of tartuffe and kimchi. even with the pandemic in full force, they’ve managed to have a really good system for taking care of patients and still have conversations about issues.

This is the best vet ever! Everyone is super sweet and helpful. I’ve been taking my 3 years old Frenchie with Dr. Rivas since we got him at 8 weeks and it was the best decision ever. They really take care of your dog. My Frenchie has had 2 simple surgeries with Dr. Rivas and has received the best care. I have 0 complains, costumer service is great, there’s no wait time for your appointment and doctor always return calls. If you want a vet that feels like family HELPET is the place to go!

Dr Rivas and his team are the absolute best! They’ve always given us more than 100% at all times. Couldn’t imagine bringing our girl kiwi anywhere else.

I have been taking my two frenchies to this vet for a couple of years now. They always do a great job with taking care of them. One of my dogs does not like having his nails cut and unfortunately can become aggressive. They do a great job with him. Today I had to take him in at the last minute to have one of his nails cut and they were very understanding and Accommodating. The vets will always come outside and let you know what your dog will need to have done and give you a price list before they go ahead with anything. I would really recommend this vets to anybody who lives in the midtown area.

I wasn’t happy with the previous place I was taking my two babies so I decided to look for another place. I came across Helpet Vet and decided to bring my two pups here. I was super happy with the service I was provided. All the staff were amazing and super sweet. They were were so kind and loving and treated my babies with care. Dr. Rivas was also amazing!!! He was also so caring with my babies and was great at explaining all the tests, procedures and results. They also email you all that info which is helpful to have in writing. I definitely recommend brining your pet to Helpet Veterinary Center!! I am so glad I found this place and the best part is that it is near my house.

Absolutely love bringing my puppy to Dr. Rivas and his staff! They are very professional and caring. Very easy to make appointments. They are always on time and no need to plan to wait for long hours to get things done like at the other vets. Dr. Rivas is great and you can see how much he cares about his patients! Best vet I have ever visited! Highly recommend!

Dr. Rivas and Helpet staff are very caring and professional, making sure my doggie is up to date with all vaccines and medications. They will let you know what procedures they are going to do and what would be the approximate cost. They follow Covid precautions so the visits are safe for all. If you are looking for a good vet service, this is a place to go!

I do not recommend this vet unless you literally live next door. I guess I'm fortunate to have had good vets up in NY who feel more like family. I called Helpet days after I adopted my dog because it seemed to have pneumonia. I asked if they had the same resources as a hospital in case he needed to stay overnight, to which they replied "yes". This was false. They took hundreds of dollars from me and then instructed me to take the dog to another animal hospital, leaving me double billed!! Additionally, they continued to refer to my male puppy as "her" and "she". When they suspected he may have an ear infection, they didn't even check until I asked them specifically. After asking they concluded his ears were infected, but didn't even give me the treatment. The only reason I even have the treatment is because, while I was putting my puppy in the car, one of the staff members watched as an employee next door stole my phone and then left work to do whatever with it across the street. Once I retrieved the phone back and called in to complain to the doctor, did I get a chance to ask (and pay additional $ for) the ear medication. When I asked why they did all of these things they simply said it wasn't their responsibility to "recover" my phone (I was 20 feet away putting my dog in the car), and that they're glad THEY healed my puppy's pneumonia (they didn't - the animal hospital did). They may be good people. They may be good doctors. But their service is something I haven't seen in a while: horrible. They need to learn how to run a business that both benefits them AND their customers. I strongly recommend against using Helpet.

Very big fan of this place! Just moved down to Miami from Brooklyn and the team helped me get all the right paperwork over quickly and in a stress-free manner. Will definitely be my dog's new vet!

I cannot describe the fantastic level of service from the Vets at helpet. Our pets are part of our family and doctor Rivas and his staff make them feel like family. Definitely recommend for all your pet’s needs. And by the way, Dr Rivas is not only a great vet, but he’s also incredibly handsome.

Love the team here! I have been bringing my dog Gus here for the past 2 years for the normal checkups even when he had an emergency. The whole team here is very nice and they show a ton of care for your pet and his or her situation.

We previously went to another local vet, and weren’t satisfied with the level of care. Upon visiting Helpet, we were so impressed with the service; the level of friendly care towards our pup, literally no wait to see the vet tech and doctor, and very informative regarding treatments. Great vet and good attention from everyone

This is by far the best vet I have found in Miami! Professional, caring about your pets, and he takes the time to explain everything. He really cares about his fur patients. I moved to Miami Beach and tried a vet clinic there, but it can not even be compared to Helpet! So I am back to Helpet even if it is a little bit far from my home, because it is so important to have the best vet possible for your fur babies ! Thank you for your great job.

The team at Helpet is caring, responsive, and professional. I moved 45 minutes away and decided to keep going there--I'm just that comfortable and so is my dog. They are thorough with documents, calls, and emails, and are available to lend advice when asked.

I recently had the pleasure of taking my new puppy to HELPED VETERINARY CENTER for his first check up. From the moment I walked in the door I knew I had made a good decision bringing him here. Everyone is so friendly and genuine. Dr. Rivas spent a great deal of time going over all the important and He was kind and professional in explaining how I should look after my puppy.

I’m so glad we switched to Dr. Rivas. He’s so responsive and patient when we’ve had questions, or concerns and always looks out for the best in our dogs. With two bully breed dogs it’s sometimes a challenge to find vets and staff that aren’t hesitant to see them, but it shows that not only he, but his staff love animals. I see it by the way they treat my babies. So that makes me so grateful and it’s comforting.
