Calusa Crossing Animal Hospital Miami, Florida

I live in Edgewater so it's quite a drive, but Dr Woodby was referred to me by a friend and I want what is best for my pet. I've always been pleased with the service and would highly recommend Dr Woodby and all the staff working there. They've always answered all my questions and concerns, and even though my pet doesn't like to go, I know she's in good hands!

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Woodby! I absolutely love him! Our little Juni is just 3 years old and has been seeing him since she was a puppy. She is a rescue pup and quite skittish. She is distrusting of strangers, but an angel once she gets to know you. Dr. Woodby handles her with such care and expertise. He knows exactly what she needs and is both patient and loving. He makes all the difference in the world to us. In fact, very early on, Juni had a couple of other vets and the experiences were horribly stressful for everyone! With Dr. Woodby, we all leave with a smile! I can't thank him enough for all he's done for our family and all he continues to do for our sweet Juni!

Great no nonsense vet. I couldn’t be happier with our first puppy visit. I was a vet tech for 15 years and I am very pleased to have found this vet. Staff was friendly and prices are great. I rely on Google reviews as I travel a lot for work and I’m happy to leave 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Remy is one of the best techs my dog has ever had (and he’s had a few in the past couple months)! Not only very knowledgeable but helped me feel at ease with all my efforts to help my dog who is in end stage kidney failure. Highly recommended!!!

They have always been too slow, BIG wait times to be seen or to be heard. Today I get to my appointment 10 minutes late after a 40 minute drive and THEY couldn't do the waiting for once. They said the doctor had to leave, unbelievable. This was after I still had to wait on them after I arrived for 15 minutes on hold trying to get a hold of someone over the phone to do the check-in because they don't let people inside still. If they would be somewhat efficient with their phone they would have seen me 15 minutes earlier. I've been with them for 9 years but no more, I'm tired of of the waiting. The only reason why I give them 3 stars instead of 1 is because Dr. Woodby is awesome, we will miss him, and to be fair most of the staff is friendly and cares. Very sad to leave due to bad management.

Dr. Woodby & Dr. Ashby are phenomenal, hands down the most caring Vets ever. They are surrounded by a team of Techs and Office staff that show kindness and professionalism at every visit, and with every phone call.

Bleu and I love love love Calusa Crossing Animal Hospital!! They have been nothing but THE BEST. Bleu just got neutered and dental cleaning done. He has recovered so well so far. Thank you Dr. Woodby & Staff for taking care of Bleu!????????

Amazing Hospital, Great doctor and amazing staff. I came in when my dog was giving birth and I was freaking out and they were very professional and very quick with everything. The doctor explains everything very well. I will recommend this place to everyone.

GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! I am forever grateful for the Vets and Staff at Calusa Crossing Animal Hospital. They went above and beyond in every way when we recently had a medical crisis with our Frenchie. I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve been coming here for the longest due to my brother in law being a vet tech and my sister working at the front desk. Let me begin by saying, if you’re looking for a new vet to take your precious pet to..look no further. This is the place!! They treat your pet like family and they’re always in constant communication with you, which I love! Milo (my two year old corgi) never cries, barks or gives me a hard time when I take him here and I think that speaks volume. I believe that shows how comfortable he is here because he knows how well he’s being treated. Javier is the name of one of the vet techs that usually takes care of my pup and he is amazing! 10/10. I will always be taking my corgi here and I hope this review helps others make the best choice for their pet.

Took my Maltipoo Finn in for his 1st visit, he's a 14 wk bundle of fur. Dr. Woodby and Javier made him right at home. I would highly recommend this group. I had an awesome experience.

They’ve been so compassionate, helpful and caring. They truly care about your animals and Dr Woodby cares about his patients and their owners. He takes the time to speak to you and explain everything . The staff is great and so efficient.

This was my second visit in the time of COVID. The staff executed well and we were in and out in no time considering that I have a very large dog. Highly recommend this pet hospital.

I called over five times to try and get information for my dog. Was hung up on, then I called back and again they put me on hold and never even answered my questions. It takes two minutes to answer two questions. Save your money people and go somewhere where they care about you and your pet.

Everything was great. We just wanted to be able to go in with our pet in tow. A lovely young lady, who had transported Max, said this would be possible in a few months. I hope so. Otherwise, Max is getting the greatest treatment. Dr. Woodby called the next day and prescribed antibiotics for a possible kidney infection. He, Dr. Ashby, and everyone there are wonderfully supportive. However, Max did say that he felt the effects of the doctor's appt the next day and that he was pooped. Watch your language, Max! He also is not happy about taking the nasty tasting antibiotic. However, he still likes everyone, just not when he has to go for his check-ups!

Great experience taking my dog there. Very professional.

They took care of my dog during an emergency without an appointment. The doctor contacted me as soon he evaluated the dog and gave me a quick prognosis with different plans of action. They didn’t go around with prices just went straight to the point and gave me a quote, which I considered fair for Miami. Great service, great customer service and will be forever thankful with them.

I’ve never dealt with someone so rude in my entire life. The front desk lady clearly shouldn’t be working at an animal hospital where u deal with people. You don’t like your job? Then quit, plain & simple. Imagine having a stupid sour face for front desk? What clientele are u looking for?

Dr. Woodby is fantastic. His supporting staff needs some work, however. My grandmother brought her dog in while myself, my wife, and my mother in law were all at work unable to assist. English is not her first language. After telling her her dog was ready, they had her wait an entire hour and ingored THIRTEEN OF HER CALLS. I call, they pick up on the second ring acting completely confused as though nothing happened and no one was calling. She had the right number, I checked. They screened her calls because they lost patience and dealing with someone who only speaks Spanish in Miami of all places. Shameful behavior.

Dr. Woodby has seen multiple pets in our family over the years; This includes an emergency surgery and even noticing an ophthalmologic issue on one of my dogs during a routine checkup. A true gentleman and master at his craft... I would never consider going elsewhere.
